I don’t shop a lot at Pier One, but when I do I try to catch a sale. This store is a nice size and all of the current seasons goods are located at the front of the store. They carry everything one needs to decorate their home. They carry some of the most beautiful dishes, fine glassware, placemats, table cloths, table runners, furniture, art pictures, pillows for outdoor patios and furniture pillows. I could go on and on. The staff are very friendly and greet you when you walk through the door. Someone will always ask you«What are you looking for today?» My most recent purchase was a new jewelry armoire and they have a nice selection. I had found one online that I really liked but the price was pretty steep. I happened to go in a couple days later and this store had the armoire that I wanted to order. It was a floor model and I noticed the price was cheaper than online. The sales woman was extremely kind and told me she would order me a new one online but still give me the price of the floor model. This made a big difference in terms of cost and I was really happy. My new armoire arrived a couple of weeks later and I went to pick it up. I got it home and there was a couple of minor things that my husband needed to do in order for me to use it. The service provided by Pier One was outstanding so I will make sure that all of my future Pier One purchases are done at this location! I really appreciate the extra effort that was provided to me by this store.

From 12÷19÷15 We came in for some holiday items. This Pier One is located on W Charleston Blvd, with a ton of shops in the plaza surrounding it. The set up in here is nice, and the store is big, you can spend a bunch of time just looking at all the knickknacks– which is fine with me. Also, the staff here is very helpful. I love Pier One, and you can’t go wrong in any of its stores.

This may be one of the biggest Pier 1 Imports I have ever been in. Disclaimer…OK, I admit I don’t go to a lot of them all the time. This one is right by my house, and every time I have gone in, I have found the staff attentive and helpful. And thankfully not in a «LEAVEMEALONE, working my nerves» kind of way, but in a genuine«I am here to help if you need it» kind of way. I love how they PUTOUT for the Holidays, especially Christmas! Holy Shmokes that store is a sparklicious explosion! In the best possible way! I have several Holiday pieces that I have purchased from Pier 1 over the years, and they are now part of my annual traditions. They have great sales! Especially after the said Holiday, but you will be looking at a season’s worth of picked over items. I always check out the clearance shelves as well, you never know when just the right thing will be sitting there at 50−75% off!

Did they get a new Merchandise Buyer this year? I like this store now. I stopped shopping here a few year back because the selection had gotten low end and tacky. Lately, however, they seem to have stepped it up a notch and are selling more tasteful(but still eclectic and unique) household furnishings, wall art, kitchen items, lighting, and bedroom furniture. I like the location of this shop because it’s near Whole Foods and next to Barnes & Noble.

Solid selection of décor and entertaining items– regular pricing is a bit high IMO, but with clearance sales the products magically become more appealing. Unless it’s a candle, because I can’t stomach the idea of spending $ 11 clearance on a candle, sorry. Furniture and wall décor sections have a lot of variety and tend to be well-maintained; if you find anything marked down be sure to check it for damage. Currently, they are selling some floor samples($ 800 couch), which is worth checking out if you really like the style here. I mostly look for decorative objects to add to my home rather than large pieces. There are also a lot of gift items here, like picture frames, jewelry, scarves, and some smaller items(notebooks, jewelry boxes, bookends, etc).

This is a fun stop when I’m in the Whole Foods shopping center there’s always something to look at for the home. Customer service is wonderful too. On my last visit I saw some wonderful lemon plates which were reminiscent of my recent trip to Italy. Right now you can find lots of outdoor entertainment housewares and furniture and this is a great place to shop for trendy décor including lamps and furniture all at great prices.

I think Pier 1 is one of those places where no one«needs» anything but they merchandize well and kind of make you want it. I like to cook and entertain so I’m usually not so much shopping and browsing for that unusual serving dish, dishes for tastings, things to make a table interesting, etc. I honestly do browse more than buy these days because I’m just running out of space to store the seldom used but always appreciated specialty items. It’s always a pleasant hunt for a little treasure I shouldn’t buy… but do.

Pier One at this location is outstanding. I attribute this to Eddie, the assistant manager. The staff is so genuinely welcoming and helpful. I always enjoy the smiles I get and the willingness to make time for me. I am always greeted immediately and approached at least once to check on me. Of course Pier One can be pricey but everything is so nice. Especially now at Christmas time the store has so many beautiful things. Love this store.

I love Pier 1. If your looking for housewares THISISTHEPLACE. You can find anything you want for your home in this store. Its like housewares on steroids. The styles range from modern, vintage to countryish all to cater to whatever style you are looking for. They have furniture, frames, mirrors, curtains, decorative pillows, outdoor furniture and accessories, dishes, vases, wall décor etc. Right now if you are looking for bright colors… bright colors are everywhere. The customer service is amazing as soon as you walk through the door when most every time you will be greeted with a smile and a warm«welcome». The staff is always around to assist if needed. I have needed assistance the last two times I was there and they went over and beyond to help me with my questions. Check it out if you haven’t already! Highly recommended!

I like this store and more importantly Wifee and The Princess love it! We find it really good for accessories, cushions, plates, flowery stuff. On my last visit I got a great mirror from display. It was very slightly damaged and they gave me an extra 20% discount(NORETURN i WASWARNED). It is fine, no-one else will even notice the mark on the frame. There are sofas, tables and many chairs. All look good but I haven’t nneded to purchase yet.

Ive come in here so many times, spent easily hundreds of dollars and always leave thinking Wow, what a great vibe. I will stop shopping somewhere if the vibe is off, if a worker scoffs at my overly excited children, the cashier isn’t smiling and so on. I put out energetic, happy vibes and expect the same in return. This Pier 1 Imports separates itself because each person on the floor is cheery, extremely helpful and just personable. The selection is beautiful and laid out perfectly. I will add I mentally think about Unilocaling a place each time I go in, and won’t Unilocal unless I have more than one good experience. Yesterday, I went in and there was an older lady that just seemed grumpy and annoyed in general. Hopefully she can switch that up =)

I went here looking for unique ribbon and the staff was really helpful. The store is well organized so it is easy to find things. The Christmas section was especially nice. They have a lot of super cute ornaments and other decorations. I will definitely be back after the holidays to pick up whatever is left over, assuming it is on sale. That’s the way I always shop for Christmas decorations, cards, etc. It all goes in a box and then, come Thanksgiving, I’ve completely forgot what I bought. I get to open the box and surprise myself. It’s like an early Christmas for me! I have bought furniture here in the past and it’s held up fine. But it’s not high quality stuff or anything. I bought a couple of end tables for our guest room and the drawers are pretty flimsy. But they were cheap and they do the job. I’m a big believer in «you get what you pay for,» especially when it comes to furniture.
