Perry Olson – State Farm Insurance Agent

Hello again! I am writing an update for my review because I recently had both of my cars go down at the same time approximately. On top of that I have just received a letter from State Farm saying that I’ve used my road side assistance too much and I’m not allowed to make anymore claims on it or if I do they will remove my coverage. And I thought State Farm couldn’t be anymore unreliable. At this point I’m willing to pay more for the services we have than to continue dealing with this vial company. Do they really think I benefit from having to use the roadside? Do they think I enjoy being stranded with two small children? Unfortunately I’m not wealthy and cannot afford a brand new car so I make do with what I have. Apparently they only want to insure rich upperclass people. Sorry State Farm I had to use the services we pay for. #statefarmisevil #neednewinsurance

A joke of an insirance agency, garbage. Never thought it was possible for an insurance agency to increase a monthly rate almost every single month with little notification and consent. They promise a better rate in the future after every increase. Almost two years and still going up, but you’d think they’d want to help you out. A bunch of swindlers.

I cannot give Perry and all of his is staff enough stars. I’ve been a customer of his since I moved here in 2006. He and his whole staff have bent over backwards and gone above and beyond numerous times to help me.
When I bought a new car on a weekend Perry himself called me via his cell phone from his weekend and hooked me up with a temp policy number so I could drive the car home that day.
I have 3 car policies, an articles policy and my homeowners through them. My rates always go down and the longer over been with them it seems my deals get better and better. I’m always astonished when I add a new car or change something at how low everything is.
The staff here is so laid back and friendly, I love them all. Every single one of them is polite, nice, friendly and caring. He must find great people and get rid of those who aren’t great because they are always great. Plus whenever you go into the office, there’s balloons and candy and the atmosphere is just warm and friendly. I do really love them.
They also have financial services and they refinanced my car loan at 1% lower than my negotiated loan 24 hours after I bought my car. Also they are working diligently right now on a mortgage pre approval for me. They are the third lender I’ve contacted and the other two haven’t returned my calls. And I’m working on a mortgage loan and I have a top tier fico score. You’d think I could get someone interested. But these guys are very responsive.
I recommend them to everyone. They are truly awesome. Customer service like just about none other. They rock. Highly r commended.

Such bad customer service. If you want to have to argue with people when you call then go here. I am moving my insurance to a different office because I am sick of having to argue my point when I call. They are very immature but find out for yourself. Call the office and talk to them you will find out on your own

This is THE worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I joined about 5 years ago and everything was okay until I moved literally down the street. My insurance went up because I was no longer living in Henderson.okay. Then every other month my payment was different by a few dollars… okay. But the crap hit the fan when my insurance went up 25 dollars. I was told it was due to new policies within the company. Okay fine.
I bought a new car and told the insurance company to add it to my insurance. That’s fine but what they didn’t tell me was they added renter’s insurance to my policy WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I know because i was already paying renter’s insurance so for six months I was paying double renter’s insurance, when I made the company aware of the situation, I was told they could not refund my money because if anything had happened they would have to honor the policy.
I also tried to change the due date of when I pay the insurance to correspond to when I get paid from my job and was told I could not do that… REALLY???
But the straw the broke the camel’s back was I paid my insurance last month, and they cancelled my policy without notice and said they charged my payment to someone else.
This company is INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL AND IN NEED OF A RE HAUL.
When I asked to speak to Perry Olsen he is always busy on the telephone or not available. He has the rudest people working for him and I don’t know if he is unaware or does not care.
Needless to say, I’m done with the shame of a company.

ouch. i’ve been a customer for 4 years now with all vehicles and home insured with this office, i contact the office by email and phone with a need to add an engagement ring asap today due to a need to ship. Not only was the policy not added, but the agent’s office replied via EMAIL — this was URGENT! No one called, and they didn’t even email until nearly 4pm giving me no time to get the updated appraisal they said they needed. i’ll spare her by not naming her but somewhere there’s a DMV missing their ideal employee. worthless, i’m gone.

So I changed my insurance through this office about 6 months ago. I was searching for quotes for auto and motorcycle insurance and popped in here because I was in the area. The office is small with a really nice staff. The initial quote and sign up process was good.
Recently, I forgot to make the payment for my renters insurance. (I got a discount because I had a good driving record and purchased 3 policies.) The gave me a courtesy call and informed me of the lee-​way period. I thought this was really nice because my old insurance company never would have done that.
So, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new insurance broker.
