Dr. Michael is board certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology. Currently, he is an on-​staff physician for several hospitals including: Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Desert Springs Hospital, St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and Spring Valley Hospital. Dr. Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The Caring Place. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society. In 2006, Dr. Michael received the American Cancer Society’s esteemed St. George National Award in recognition of his exceptional volunteer service for the organization.

I saw referred to Dr. Michael after my complete blood count (CBC) results came out a bit weird. He is both very intelligent and has an excellent bedside manner. He knew the exact right additional blood tests to run on me, as well as explained *why* we were doing each and what the results might mean. He quickly got back to me on the results, and explained them indepth, as well as a treatment plan. I highly recommend him!
(Also, as he reminded me, although his practice is at Comprehensive Cancer Center of Nevada, being referred to him does NOT mean you have cancer. Hematology and Oncology have a lot of overlap, and he does both.)
