Gigantic selection at this new Latin bakery– pan dulce, conchas, cuernos, empanadas, bolillos, sliced bread for dips, and other Mexican desserts fill three cases. I don’t know what they’re called but they have a giant calzone-looking pastry filled with ham, cream cheese, and jalapenos that is tasty and big enough to share for breakfast. Their refrigerated case has bebidas, cheeses, and some other goodies, an additional freezer is full of paletas(coffee flavor is my favorite) and other icy treats. Birthday and special order cakes(as well as piñatas?!) available by special order. Service is bilingual and polite, store is super clean, prices aren’t posted but are super low(think $ 1−2/piece in the case), they accept cards with a $.50 processing fee.
