Palms Place

Despite the bad reviews I actually had a great experience here this weekend. We were greeted by valet and bell boy very quickly and check in was a breeze as well. There is a nightly fee of $ 50 that is refunded upon checkout and free access to the fitness center. Only downfall of this trip is my concierge did not tell me I had a free breakfast buffet both days of my stay and credit to use towards the spa and the deck overlooking the strip I had no access too, locked doors. I decided to use the jacuzzi in my room and it was very clean and relaxing after my workout.
Customer service does need some upgrading.
Overall love this hotel very modern and my room was clean.

I called to schedule a romantic get-​a-​way for my boyfriend and I. A lovely spa weekend and 2 nights stay at the hotel. I mentioned to the operator that I was a local, since we are used to getting love from off-​strip Casinos, and was dumbfounded when the woman responded that not only is their no discount (meh, who cares?) but ALSO that the management has a new policy that when locals check-​in to the hotel they are required to put down a deposit of any amount the management sees fit, «…they will hold anywhere from $ 500 to $ 1000 if they feel like it». Absurd. I was ready to spend a few grand at this place this weekend, play on some tables and spend a day getting massages and room service. but I will be taking our business to the South Point, where they charge the standard $ 100 deposit and offer 20% off to locals for all spa treatments.

Really big room. I loved that room, bed big and two televisions. Bathroom had a television as well, feel like we were home. I definitely would recommend. Only wish wifi wasn’t limited to only a few MBs. Not too far from the scrip.

First time here, it’s a little different feel than going into a «normal» hotel down on the strip. The room and facilities are beautiful. A 1 bedroom is a very nice apartment with first rate bathroom and nice little kitchen. Large, modern and very cool. From the 9^th floor, a very nice view of the strip. Nice people on staff. Really, the place is a bargain at twice what we paid for it.
My one complaint, is the one device limit on the internet connection. Between my wife and I we travel with 5 internet enabled devices (a PC, 2 iPhones, an iPad and a Kindle). Really? Run everything else on cellular?
Other than that, very nice room and facility.

Stayed at the Palms Place for the first time earlier in January for a work trip.
I was upgraded from a studio suite to the one bedroom suite and… my gosh… it was just magnificent.
1200 square feet of goodness. 35 – 301 had a view of Downtown Las Vegas, with partial views of the Strip and mountains.
Enjoyed such goodies as the full size refrigerator, triple headed shower, whirlpool tub, and separate bedroom and living areas. There is a balcony but unfortunately they are kept locked unless you own a unit.
A couple maintenance issues here and there were taken care of quickly.
Access to the main hotel and casino is through a SkyTube on the 2^nd level.
Cab rides to the Strip are like $ 10…but the Flamingo Rd double decker city bus goes by frequently and will get you there in 10 minutes. A Day Pass is $ 5.
Planning another trip for the Spring and the Palms Place is definitely on my list…

It was okay only because the rate was $ 59 on Expedia per night. I know many of you paid a lot more.
Room was new and huge, it has everything you need, two TVs, TV in the bathroom.
The reason I removed a star was the resort feee is $ 29, and it gives you 1 MB of internet speed.
If you want more speed, it’s $ 7 more? Greedy…

This place was amazing! We upgraded to a 52^nd floor 1 bedroom suite and it was HUGE. The view of the strip and the kindness of the staff made it all worthwhile.
The room service food is hit and miss, but most of the food in vegas is bad and not very healthy.
The hotel was close to gas stations, liquor stores and lots of different places to eat. Close enough to the strip but far enough away to feel at home. Love love love the Palms Place. WE WILL BE BACK!
We liked having to use the elevator that went to the higher floors, made us feel more important, lol!

Usually stay on the strip but was coming to Vegas for a wedding on New Year’s Day and strip hotels were insanely priced for New Years Eve
Found the Palms through Hotwire and price was perfect
Arrived around 12:45 and expected to check luggage until the 3pm check in time
Luckily for us, we were able to check in right away. We were also able to upgrade to Strip view for $ 50. Since the Strip was closing to car traffic by 6pm on NYE the $ 50 was well worth it. We were on the 31^st floor and had absolute perfect view of all 7 firework shows
As others have indicated the resort is a little bit away from the Strip. Not sure I would walk it after dark
Palms does have a shuttle to the Strip between 11 and 8 (I think those are the times)
Otherwise it is a quick 10 minute cab ride
I noticed the rooms are up for sale. Hopefully some stay hotel rooms cause I would definitely stay here again (non Strip side had awesome views of Vegas as well)
I am still dreaming about the bathroom – the tub was AMAZING.

I haven’t checked out yet but BRUHHHHHHH… This place is A W E S O M E. Room is big and spacious, Waterfall shower, sleek design, and a view you can’t beat. Pictures will follow. I used the room service and the burger was excellent with some of the best skinny fries I’ve ever had. The front desk woman that helped me was super sweet and funny. Valet/​Bell desk and all have made this a awesome experience. One weird thing I wa told is that if you are local they hold a $ 250 deposit (mainly because locals have parties and tear shit up) but if you aren’t local you only put a $ 50 deposit down. I will write a bit more after I check out but the pool and café are on the 6^th floor… I wish it was open a little longer (pool). But its so beautiful…

This place is a gem! I honestly did not expect Palms Place to be this nice. I used to work for a 5 star, hotel in Las Vegas, and this place stacks up right long with them.
The service was good, I wouldn’t say great like Four Seasons great, but good enough. The room was absolutely amazing and for the price you honestly could not beat it.
The location maybe away from the strip which disappointed my wife a little bit, but once we got to the room and saw the view we were amazed!
We got the studio suite which plenty of room for just the two of us. Two tvs, stainless steel counter and cabinets, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, blender, and the list continues, but simply wow.
The bed was super comfy which was a major sticking point for my wife. The bathroom was equally amazing. We were offered to upgrade, but once we saw the upgrade we knew if we did we would want to leave the room.
We like the location because it kinda put us in the center of all the things we wanted to do, which included trips to Chinatown, Fashion Show Mall, the premium outlets, the strip, etc.
We definitely recommend this hotel and will honestly stay here again if given the opportunity.

Palms place is great for a stay-​cation for Vegas locals! We stayed here for 2 nights/​3days for my birthday! The staff is nice and not bothersome (which is very important lol). We stayed on the 53 floor which the highest before the penthouses.
Food: There is room service but on the expensive side /​$ 1 dollar service fee and 19% gratuity fee. But no worries You can easily take the sky tube to palms casino to eat at more affordable places. (I do have some recommended places)

I really enjoyed my stay here. I didn’t feel the need to take photos of my room because the ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE THE ONES ON THE WEBSITE. Unlike most hotels lol. We checked in for a night, and the first thing I did was hop into that nice large free standing tub. (booked the 1 bedroom suite) it has enough space for atleast 4 guest. The views of the strip from the 33^rd floor were amazing!!!
It wasn’t too far away from the strip, the casino is at the regular Palms, valet was fast and everything was just right! I didn’t get to try room service as I was only there for a night but I instead grabbed food at the casino. Not many food choices there but enough.
Take a cab or über to the strip if you need more.

Came for a convention in the Bellagio. $ 7.50 Über ride was easy enough. Taxis are about $ 12.50.
Beautiful hotel room! Wow! I checked in early, received a mountain view room. Was asked if I wanted to upgrade to a 1 bedroom for $ 50 a night but asked what floor I was already on. Received the 25^th so didn’t upgrade.
Room was beautiful. 2 large LCD TVs beside each other. Amazing view. Spectacular bathroom. Two words: rain shower!
There is a jacuzzi tub in the walk in shower. Bed and linens were comfortable. The fridge and ice maker inside the room were awesome. There’s even a secret dishwasher beneath the sliding dining table. Slippers and bath robes are hanging in the closet.
I also requested and received late check out. All in all, beautiful hotel, beautiful room, friendly staff, and though off the strip was totally worth it. Only downside was that wifi was a little slow so I purchased upgraded wifi for $ 15 for my entire 5 day stay. Not bad.
Will return.

3.5 Stars. I normally stay at the strip but thought I tried something new. I arrived at the hotel too early around noon but the agent offered me a mountain view since these rooms were available before normal check in. The strip view rooms will be ready at 3 so I decided just wait. You can leave your luggage with the bell staff so that’s exactly what I did while I explored the surroundings. This building is connected to Palms Hotel Casino via moving skywalk. There’s plenty free of parking outside and indoor garage.
My room was pretty enormous. 2 LCD tvs (one in front of bed & one for the living area), nice comfy king bed, separate sitting area, writing desk, modern artsy lighting fixtures, fully equipped kitchen w/​mini bar, 3 spacious closets, jet tub, rain shower and another small tv in bathroom vanity.
The room was clean but floors were a little dusty. One of the TVs didn’t power at all and I called front desk, maintenance came but they were not able to fix it. I also called about 2 lamps fixtures in the living room that had bulbs out but they also didn’t fix them. There was a decent size balcony but only permanent residents can unlock the sliding door. The front desk told me that hotel guest were not allowed on the balcony… maybe for safety reasons but that’s a lame excuse. Internet was a little challenging to connect and allowed only certain amount of data access which was weird. If I wanted more data, then I have to pay extra on top of the daily resort fee. On my last day, one of the shower handles came off loose (see pic) but I didn’t bother calling the front desk about it cause I was checking out.
Overall, it was nice comfortable stay. This hotel was modern and had nice amenities. I just think housekeeping or maintenance should be inspecting rooms thoroughly before guest arrives. This hotel being off the strip, for the price I paid & minor kinks, I’d rather stay at the strip and pay a bit more for a smaller modern room.

Still can’t believe the room we had for the price we paid (through Expedia). One of the perks of showing up late (9 pm on Sunday) to a Las Vegas casino is the possibility of getting a great room with a view. Checking in was fairly quick and the entire front desk staff was cordial and professional. Self-​Parking was a breeze (unlike most casinos that make you walk a mile) and the room/​suite came with all the modern luxuries that you rarely see even in a 4– and 5-​star hotel.
Would definitely stay here again if in town but I doubt I’ll get this lucky again.

My boyfriend and I were here for the Labor Day weekend and I must say that we were extremely impressed! It was only a 2 minute drive to the strip so we had quick access to everything we needed. The studio suite was beautiful! If we decided that we wanted to eat in, we were able to because they had a stove. More than enough storage space for extended stay!!!
Can’t forget to talk about the jacuzzi tub!!! Amazing! My honey is 6’6 and we both were able to have a nice comfortable experience together.
We absolutely loved our stay and we plan to stay here every Vegas trip.
I HIGHLY recommend this hotel suite if you’re looking for something at a good price and luxury feel.

For Labor Day Weekend, my friends and I drove to Vegas so we didn’t feel the need to stay on the strip. For the same price as a small room at other hotels, we had a fancy suite here at Palms Place with our own kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc…), fireplace, a vanity table, washer & dryer, 2 huge flat screen tvs, a mini tv in the bathroom, a bathroom with THREE shower heads, a bath tub, 2 restrooms and the most amazing strip-​view corner suite from the 33^rd floor!
The décor was so elegant we were more than happy to take pictures of ourselves throughout the weekend. The mirrors were definitely a nice touch. It also made it easier for us to each have plenty of space to get pretty for clubbing.
Not only was it aesthetically pleasing, we were also very comfortable. Jumping onto that bed was like sinking into a fluffy cloud! The blanket was so soft and cuddly! Even the sofa was comfortable to nap on.
We definitely felt like queens! Since the room was so beautiful and cozy, we ended up spending more time there than we originally planned to.

It’s sad to say that the quality of this hotel has drastically decreased. I stayed here with a group for the 3^rd time during the magic trade expo (we like to stay here because of the cleanliness, spacious rooms, and ease of traveling to/​from the expo). We had a 5 rooms for 4 nights, plus 2 additional rooms for 2 nights. Needless to say, every room had at least one issue…
1. Room had dirty room service dishes upon arrival.
2. Room had dust all over the wood floors.
3. (My) room, coffee cups and glassware I used was never replaced, only removed by housekeeping.
4. Room was too small for husband, wife n daughter (12y) had requested room with 2 beds. Couldn’t be changed after check in.
5. Used toiletries were not replaced by housekeeping.
Upon complaining to the front desk (night shift, we were at the expo all day) they managed to wave some of our resort fees, but still didn’t feel accommodating as we were not utilizing any of the benefits included in the resort fees.
All in all, we were disappointed as a group and will not be returning for the next expo.

For years Joel and I have talked about doing a staycation, but just have never done it. On a whim we decided to check out the Palms. We did some research and consulted Unilocal and decided that Palms Place would be even better. Our main requirement of the room is that it had a jacuzzi tub.
We wanted to stay on Sunday and Monday night and wow did we get a great deal $ 77 a night including tax. The room that we picked, the studio suite, was just a basic room, but it had a mini kitchen, two flat screen TVs, a couch that pulled out into a queen size bed and best of all a rain shower with jacuzzi tub. I was so excited!
We arrived a little after check in which was at 3pm. The front desk person was very helpful. I was so surprised when he offered us a free upgrade to a one bedroom suite! He said it wasn’t ready yet and if we didn’t mind waiting it would be ready no later then 5pm. We checked our bags and explored Palms Place and the Palms itself. They have a sky tube on the second floor that you can take over to the Palms. Super convenient.
Right around 4:30 they called to tell us that the room was ready. Back to the front desk we went. We were informed there would be a locals deposit of $ 250 on our card. Which would be refunded after we checked out. They gave us our room keys and we were shocked to be on the 36^th floor in room 36 302. Talk about a room! It was an apartment! The view was amazing! We faced the strip. The balcony went all the way around, but it was locked due to «safety reasons» so that part was a shame. The suite had a full kitchen, full size fridge that makes ice, mini bar, pots, pans, plates, cups and silverware available upon request, a blender, toaster, stacked washer and dryer, a fireplace, pull out queen sofa, huge jacuzzi tub in the middle of the bedroom facing out the window, one full bathroom with a rain shower, a half bath for guests, three flat screen TVs, and a safe.
The bed was soft, but actually pretty comfy. They also give you tons of pillows. As far as the toilets are concerned they are bad! They don’t flush right at all. I was so jazzed to take a bath in the fancy tub, but was very sad when I couldn’t get the tub to plug up it just kept draining the water. Even Joel couldn’t figure it out. So we ended up calling maintenance the next morning. He actually came in about 20 minutes. He quickly fixed the tub and was on his way. Loooooove that tub! It was awesome!
The room was great. It was very quiet. We even took advantage of their pool while we were there. When we checked out Tuesday morning they refunded our $ 250, but then Wednesday morning Joel checked our account and they had taken the $ 250 out again! So he called to see what the problem was. They said it would be refunded in a couple days. Which it was that Friday. I just find it really odd they refunded it only to take it out again.
Palms Place had some great aspects and some crappy ones. The toilets need a serious upgrade. Oh and they lied about the resort fee originally it was $ 25, but later it was $ 29. The $ 250 deposit sucks. But the room and being upgraded was amazing! So overall I was happy with my stay.

Husband and I made a last minute trip to Vegas for a V-​Day getaway. My sister-​in-​law highly recommended The Palms, but after much research, we chose Palms Place (adjacent to The Palms) which is more of a suite style. So happy we made the change.
Check-​in was a breeze since we arrived on Thursday morning before the weekend rush. Concierge had no issues with holding our bags while we walked the strip until our room was ready.
Really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the Caesar Palace Forum shops. Even at a $ 5 tip both ways, we still came out ahead.
Now back to the room! Upon check in we were offered a balcony room upgrade for an extra $ 20 a day. As tempting as that sounded, because of my fellow Unilocalers’ warning that the balcony doors stay locked, I was able to avoid the unnecessary upgrade.
Two flat screens in the room were impressive enough, but what really got us was the flat screen in the bathroom. We are now seriously considering this for our next home! And don’t get me started on that Jacuzzi tub! It didn’t matter that the roof-​top hot-​tub closed at 5 PM when we had the same thing in our room. Was definitely needed after walking all day and night on the Vegas strip.
The only thing I’m confused about is why in some photos I see on here some of you had utensils and dinnerware, while others like myself only had the blender, coffee maker, toaster and 4 glass cups. We never called the front desk to confront the issue, but it will be something I’ll address next time.
Was sooo confused by the mini-​bar fridge. We bought champagne, but couldn’t fit it inside since the fridge wasn’t made to accommodate larger sized bottles. We didn’t realize this before a trip to the ABC store. We managed, but would rather have an actual full fridge instead.
Loved that we didn’t have to deal with any kind of noisy neighbors or crowds of people at the pool. During peak season, I can see how it could get crazy especially by the pool.
I’ve said a lot and long story short, we’re happy with the quality of room and service received at the price we paid. No regrets staying off the strip. Only a $ 10 five minute cab ride. Wasn’t too artsy or en-​vogue. Just right for me and my honey: O)
