needs of our students during each unique stage of their development. We provide before and after school care and have a summer program for elementary age students.

History

Established in 1997.

Northshore Learning Tree was built in 1997 to fill the need for quality childcare and preschool propgrams in this growing part of town.

While getting my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada in Reno, I worked at a daycare center. After graduating, I taught kindergarten in northern Nevada for three years. I returned to the Las

Vegas area, substituted for the school district, and taught kindergarten at an area school. I opened the first Learning Tree in Las Vegas in 1980 after realizing there was a tremendous need for quality childcare for working parents. I continued my education by attending Community College of Southern Nevada in their Early Childhood program. In 1997, I expanded to the northwest area and built Northshore Learning Tree.
