After having Cox cable try to raise our rates yet again, my wife and i decided to cut the cable and get an antenna installed at our home. After getting all the information from Jim in the office, I made an appointment with Karlo to come by and do the installation. The installation couldn’t have gone better. Beautifully installed and a picture that put Cox’s to shame. My ONLY regret is that i didn’t call Mr. Antenna earlier. I kept Cox for internet and am using Magic Jack for our land line. Even with adding Sling TV, We’re saving almost $ 100 a month!

They came same day and installed everything timely and worked perfectly. Karlo was great and highly recommended he even wore a mask at my request because I have a sick son. Very professional and nice guy!

Mr. Antenna was great! We kicked cable to the curb and hired Mr. Antenna to install antenna on our home. It looks nice and the picture we get for the channels is perfect. More importantly we are saving 100’s of dollars every month.

From my first call to the finish of installation it was a very positive experience. All of the charges and potential charges were explained clearly up front. My installer was Greg and he was very meticulous on the install and was careful to keep all the areas he was working in clean and as debris free as possible. He even made sure the outlets were of the same height as the others in the room so they didn’t look out of place. Although he had to make a second trip out to reinstall the antenna in a more optimal area, he was prompt both visits and called beforehand to be sure I knew when to expect him. Before he left he went over all the programming and tested to see how strong the signal was in each area and to be sure I was happy with the installation and the channels I was receiving. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and am very happy that I was referred to them for my needs.

Greg came by from mr. Antenna and did a super job with installation. I was so happy with his service I told my neighbor and he ended up getting the antenna as well. Great job and product!

Carlo was on time very professional and made sure everything was working before he left. The appointment was made through the website with all questions answered and prices explained. My cox bill went from 230.00 a month to 60.00 for Internet only! Love the reception and tv being free again.

In 2012 we bought a Channel Master DVR and pulled the plug on Cox. We decided then to put our own antenna in the house. Not a very good picture at all. So we went looking for a reputable professional company and the best at the time was Mr Antenna! They drew the placement of antenna and pole for the HOA. It was approved and Jim installed it. We loved the picture! TRUE HD! (Cable reformats, compresses and restores the signal.) Cable says they’re High Def. The signal may start out that way but compared to an outside antenna installed by Mr Antenna, they fall short of real HD. Mr Antenna’s installation, professionalism and picture are the best! Thanks Mr Antenna! You were outstanding then and you still are! Leonard G.

We had been thrilled with Mr Antenna and the installation and the antenna that they sold us. Then we lost Channel 3 and 10! I called and Karlo came out quickly. There had been a recall and they replaced everyone who called in. Even though the warranty was only one year — and the known defect repair dates had passed — Karlo replaced the antenna with a better antenna NO CHARGE! We get Channel 3 and 10 again!

Regardless of how good of the actual mechanical connection is, his customer service is NOT recommended.
The technician called and moved up the appointment time but arrived late (30min)
Punctuality is still not considered one of the important things at this time of age with small businesses. Sad!
Technician asked bazaar question, «how are you watching TV?»; a sign of lack of communication between sales information intake process to actual technician.
During the sales call, clearly mentioned the presence of current satellite TV subscription and the intention of using both until the satellite service expires.
Clear Male Chauvinist; he even states it in his introduction on his web page «…doing manly things…”(direct quote)
Reason; tried to assist by letting him know where the COAX cable was connected from inside the house but he completely blew the suggestion then a few minutes later he led himself back to where I was trying to show him where the COAX cable outlet was.
Then he added, ‘I still needed to follow it from TV.‘
If you are White and Male, you will receive better customer service (guaranteed!)
But if you are not, please have your family member present with you.

I had these guys install my antenna last September, and I couldn’t be happier.
My house already came prewired for satellite, so these guys hooked it up to use the same coaxial outlets, and I now get over 50 channels with all the major networks broadcasting in 1080i/​720p resolution.
Antennas no longer give reception artifacts like the old days, so there’s no reason to pay for cable/​satellite anymore, and with an outdoor antenna like the one these guys install, you don’t have to be fiddling with constant repositioning.
I normally don’t watch TV anyway, so doing this was a no brainer. Netflix/​Amazon Prime on my Smart TV has filled any void that I may have.
These guys did another professional installation for my cousin last week, and they are also happy.

Flakey business! After emailing Jim for a quote I called him and set up an install appointment for July 7^th between 11am-​1pm. He was a no call, no show. Based on recent reviews it appears service has tanked as of late.

I was very disappointed here. Jim was supposed to connect with me multiple times but, after the initial sales call, never responded. After finally tracking him down, he told me that he wasn’t even sure if the antenna would work in my area. I wasted two months of my time with these guys. I expect better responsiveness from potential customers.

Multiple phone calls made to discuss and install. Some confusion and the wife wanted to speak to the installer. Company refused to come out and talk about install without a fee. Very displeased with this company. I had high hopes after reading the reviews, however I have hundreds of people give free estimates on our whole house remodel piece by piece. Nobody EVER told me, «Yeah we can send him out to talk to you but for a fee». I am glad I found out this company has terrible customer service prior to spending a dime. Funnier still is that I have many friends and family that may follow me in cord cutting. Too bad they traded a 10 minute conversation for possible future work at many different places.

I had Mr. Antenna install a TV antenna on my grandmothers house. He did a great job, and the antenna brings in all the channels she wanted but couldn’t get with indoor antennas. Price was reasonable, and work was done on time and promptly. We are building a new house now and will have him over soon to put one on ours as well.

Karlo and his team were professional, prompt, and delivered more than I expected. I am extremely happy with my new outdoor antenna. Based on other reviews and experiences, I am pleased that this was one project I went straight to a professional. I had this installed just before the Olympics started. Wow! I could not believe the picture… It looked so good.

He came out to my house and installed an antenna.
I get 50 channels without any monthly bill,
After scanning the channels I classified 30 as Favorites.
Just as with cable you don’t «watch» all of channels you pay for.
Now, since I don’t pay it doesn’t matter.
Obviously you get the major networks.
What surprised me was receiving HSN and other «cable» channels.
Most are in HD and come in crystal clear. I highly recommend it to anyone that would want to save the cable bill for other entertainment.
Mr. Antenna is very professional and knows his stuff. He installed the antenna and set up 2 TVs and a total of 6 rooms to receive the signal. My house was wired for TV and internet. Total cost was $ 329.

We had an antenna installed today by Mr. Antenna. He arrived on time and was great at explaining everything about the process. I was pretty amazed at the picture quality — it is digital quality on the networks that broadcast in digital, and the others have pretty good picture quality too. We used to pay Cox around $ 15/​month for the most basic cable tv service (we use cable modem and mainly watch Netflix streaming, along with the few local networks and PBS for the kids). We reduced our cable package now to just cable internet and phone service, and we are using the antenna for our tv service. We now get all the networks, plus a huge variety of different channels. Some channels, we will likely never watch, but some seem great (a channel with MGM movies, CW, etc.).
Unfortunately, we had a large pine tree near our best signal location which blocks the signal, so the antenna he needed to use was larger than his smallest antenna (which he initially planned to use) — I would estimate maybe 5 feet across was this «medium» sized antenna. It is about the same height as our chimney. He placed it behind our chimney so from some angles it isn’t visible. From others (back/​side of the house), well, it looks like we have an antenna on our roof. So whether you are willing to have that or not is sort of a personal decision (like whether to get Dish, or to have solar pool panels on your roof, or anything else that is visible and maybe not the most aesthetically pleasing but makes sense to you). I am happy enough to ignore it to eliminate a monthly bill with a one time charge. Will our friends make fun of us for getting an antenna? Maybe. I am not one to bow to social pressure when it comes to practical decisions though.
One thing I didn’t realize and learned when he arrived was the antenna hookup does rely on where your cable hookups are placed. Your reception comes through coax cable. So I was hoping to get a tv along a different wall in a bedroom (different from where the cable plug was), but switching to antenna doesn’t allow that. It was not a big deal, just that I didn’t understand how the whole thing worked before our installation.
We were a little concerned about HOA because our house borders on a community park and the antenna is visible from that angle (but barely visible from our front and side yard), but our HOA representative said the same thing that Karlo explained — Federal law permits you to have an external antenna if that is what is needed to get you a signal. They do request we file a paper with them for the «approval» but they basically need to approve it.
Happy to be reducing our monthly Cox bill.

An outdoor antenna is the best way to receive the free OTA (over the air) TV in Las Vegas. I learned of Mr. Antenna through Angie’s List and
(Las Vegas forum). Karlo installed a VHF/​UHF antenna on the back of our house and connected it to two TVs. Now we get NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, PBS, plus others, minus the outrageous COX bill. All we care about is FOOTBALL so the rest of the channels are gravy. All the signals are strong (we live in 89 135 near Bishop Gorman HS) and the pictures are very clear, no interference. I highly recommend Karlo /​Mr. Antenna.

Initially, I tried to ditch paid TV on my own by buying the outdoor antenna, Tivo unit and installing them myself. Well, I got us 80% there. There were 2 local channels that we were just not getting in consistently. (Of course, reception on those channels seemed to falter during our favorite shows.)
After a Google search, I found Mr. Antenna… and he was able to get us the 20% we were missing. With purchasing a more effective antenna, and mounting it on the roof, we now have HD programming… FOR FREE. The picture is amazing; it’s exceeded my expectations. Save yourself time and money, and do it right the first time. Call Mr. Antenna and then tell Cox and DirecTV where they can stick their service.

Carlo was great. Took his time to find the right antenna. We ended up with about 30 channels. Now you will need to adjust to limited choices but will save lots of money and hopefully adjust.

Mr Antenna (Karlo) came and installed an excellent antenna on the top of my home so that my reception is absolutely perfect for all of the channels in Las Vegas. It is so nice to be able to get perfect high definition service to my TV’s, but not only did Karlo take care of that, but he perfected reception to the very difficult HD HomeRun which has a particularly difficult time getting channel 3. OTA antenna reception is a black art, and Karlo is the master of the art, and performed everything with absolute ease.
