I have been coming here since 1990.
Lately, I have been restoring old motorcycles. I can breathe easy having tires mounted without messing up my new paint/​powdercoat on the wheels.
Always friendly. Fast, efficient service, with fair prices. What more do you need?

Absolutely the best service I’ve had since buying my bike. Great prices, fast service, and I can’t say enough. I’ll be back again and again.

So so customer service they won’t mount certain tires even if they are a factory tire and you just got your wheels powdercoated. Prices are never the same but they are open on a Sunday and they do remove bearings.

Called around all over town on a Sunday. Found out the service dept for all of the dealers are closed on Sunday and no one to do a tire change. Even called the small motorcycle shops and they were unable to mount and balance. I figured i give Motorcycle Tire Center a call. They said sure! Bring it in and we will take care of it. They quoted me $ 30 to mount and balance each tire. Not bad considering a lot of places would charge $ 25 or so. I decided lets try them out. Now the location of Motorcycle Tire Center is not on the most richest of neighborhoods. If your nervious about location then this might not be for you. For me if it looks safe then ill go for it. Little did I know this place is super clean, yes its a little on the older side, place looks dated, but hey what do you expect its a motorcycle shop! Lol they do carry an extensive line of tires, decently priced and they did carry some odd sizes that a lot of places wouldn’t. They carry the standard, bridgestone, michelin, Dunlop, Metzlers, Shinko, and some couple others. Decently priced for a local shop. I walked in and was immediately greeted and was instantly welcomed in. Told the gentleman I was the one who called and needed the tires mounted and balanced. He said sure and bring them in. Immediately he told me to bring them in the back. He showed me the wheels and explained to me all of the scratches, knicks, etc. Standard protocol stuff. I said no problem i know they were already there. He told me it would be about a 1 hour wait since there was 3 people ahead of me. They will try there best to get it done asap. Told them ill wait since i live pretty far. They said no problem. I walked around the shop for a bit and they have a great waiting area. While I was waiting I got to chat with a couple of the staff, Dante and Melvin. They are very cool guys, they know what there doing! In the end my tires were done ahead of time, id say 45 mins over all. They mounted them up perfectly. Many shops ignore the color dot on the sidewall. I believe this is the first time ive seen a shop line up the dot to the valve stem. Cleaned them up and I was ready to roll. Melvin told me to take it easy on the tires as they are slick from the factory. That was it! Service is great here! I highly recommend Motorcycle Tire Center! They are friendly and great service! Ask for Melvin or Dante! They are awesome guys! There open 7 days a week too! Thank you guys!

My experience was awesome! They are knowledgable and quick. I needed some electrical work done on my Honda Shadow Aero 1100 and they quoted me around $ 400 (which was the cheapest of all the shops in Vegas). Once they dug into my bike they found no issues, replaced the fuse, and only charged me $ 27!!! They could have totally taken advantage of me and they didn’t. They also told me what to look out for in the future in regards to electrical problems with my bike and more. I’m never going anywhere else to have my bike serviced. Thank you MTC!

MTC may not always have the absolute best prices, but they do have the best tech’s and service. My last set of tires was purchased at a Yamaha dealer because they had a great sale price on PR4’s. I had serious wheel balance issues that took two additional trips and 3 hours of waiting to resolve. Prior to that, I’ve always had MTC install my tires and NEVER had any issues. I feel like a schmuck for trying save a few $ and going elsewhere — in the end it cost me time and money.
When these PR4’s are worn out, I’ll be back to MTC for another set. Love MTC (also really, really like the PR4’s on my FJR).

While visiting Las Vegas I needed a front tire. These guys had what I needed and even made a recommendation on the weight rating for the tire.
Marvin was fantastic and he is always friendly, the tire tech on the other hand is a bit different. If you have a custom bike he will complain like a Jewish mother. He is great at working on stock bikes but if it is custom you better put aside 3 hours to sit on their couch and catch a well deserved hangover nap (hey don’t judge me it’s Vegas).

Good, fast tire swap, ordered and arrived the next day. Fair if not stellar price. Good guys. Scary parking lot (and I spend a lot of time downtown, lol).

The parking lot was absolutely filthy, as I drove up I had very low expectations but just as they say, don’t judge the book by it’s cover. The guys were extremely friendly, the shop was clean, the service was very quick and they took care of me right away, even not letting me buy on services I didn’t need. Prices for things I did need were average, not the best but hey to ride is a privilege not a right, pay up:)
Will definitely come back.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years. MTC has been my go to place for all of my motorcycle needs. They offer fair prices on tires and their installation. They tackle issues that are beyond my limits, but they are happy to lend advice on other issues that I wish to tackle myself. I have only great things to say about this place. They’re always friendly and fair. A true mom and pop motorcycle shop in sin city.

I’ve been coming to this shop since 2010 for all the routine maintenance and repairs on my SV650. They always have the right parts in stock, they do good work, and they are extremely honest. They’re also not usually busy on weekdays, so you just can drop by and they get started right away.
I should mention I am female and not mechanically minded, which is a recipe for getting fleeced by most mechanics… but not here. They don’t «upsell» me on parts or services I don’t need. If they see an issue, they always say something like «keep an eye on this, bring it in if xyz symptom develops.»
I came in today because my brakes have been feeling really weak and spongy. They said the pads are just «glazed,» everything else is in perfect working order, and the brakes will be good as new once they scuff the pads up. Saved me $ 150 on new brakes that I thought I needed!

Took two wheels and tires in to have them mounted. They said it would take 45 minutes but were done in 30. Super friendly staff! Exactly the way a business should operate. Highly recommend!

Quick and wonderful service all I needed is a tube in my tire and they got it done in 20 minutes not to mention they found the issue that caused my tube to go flat. Great bunch of guys 5 stars for the win.

Fantastic and affordable. We showed up on a Sunday morning when they opened In 25 minutes we were out of there with a new tire mounted and balanced. They had a great selection of tires. Their prices compare reasonably to mail order /​Internet shops. I bought a motorcycle cargo net and a few other items. This place has great accessories, knowledgeable and helpful people and we highly recommend it to all riders passing through Las Vegas. MTC reportedly does all the wheel repair and balance work for larger M/​C dealerships in the area and I believe it; they’re clearly tire and wheel experts.

Got a quote via their website and got quick response, Called them just in case to make sure they had the type of tire I wanted, They didn“t, but said they will order it and be in from Cali in couple days. I went first thing Monday and they had my tire. 45 mins wait and had it balanced & mounted. Good Fast service and reasonable price (much cheaper than Dealership). Not too hip about the area though. The only negative thing I noticed was that the new tire only had 36psi when it should be 42psi and noticed couple scratches on my black rim and was very dirty, they could have been more gentler, after all it’s a brand new bike. Over all, I will go back again for my next tire purchase.
