All I have to say is Dr Seeds is the only Doctor period in the state of Nevada… That I trust. In 22 years… He told me we’d work on whatever needs to be done until we get it right. He’s soooo companionate. Caring… Loving. He takes his time so much that his nurse needs to tell him. times up!!! Any way. If you need a addiction specialist… he’s your guy. Vicky Bukowski. He has a psych side to his practicing. He’s just phenomenal

I have been seeing dr workman, who is amazing, compassionate, as well as very knowledgable about my condition. If it wasn’t for him, I would be going to another pain dr after my experience with Javier Avila PA-​C Monos Health — Las Vegas, NV,
I had the most terrible experience with Javier today. My regular dr. Was out this week and I got booked with Javier. He was not only very unprofessional with zero bedside manner, but he threatened me. Javier knows absolutely nothing about my medical condition and told me that if I don’t «take action towards getting surgery, MRI, and physical therapy, that he nor Monos health will give me my meds. I have a rare spinal cord disease that’s progressive with zero cure. My neurosurgeon referred me to my pain dr so my pain would be under control, and basically just make my chronic pain and neurological symptoms a little more bearable to live my life. I was so upset I was crying, I called and I spoke with his supervisor and she apologized for him. I really hope monos health takes this seriously. I left there feeling horrible, Javier didn’t even listen to me. He just shunned me like I was some Low life pill seeker, instead of having compassion, he had judgement against a invisible disease. I hope you read this Javier. Google syringomyelia, learn everything there is to know about it, just in case you get a patient with this disease — maybe you’ll learn to show compassion on this life altering spinal cord disease.
If you need a good dr, get into workman he’s amazing as well as his MA

I’ve been going to Monos for quite a while. In November I had a family emergency in Ohio and was there much longer than expected. The staff helped me so much during this time it made me feel like at least this issue I didn’t have to worry about. Jennifer and Javier helped me over and over. I have seen Dr. Lipshultz and Isaac also. All of them have been great.
As matter of fact when my faceless insurance company administrator decided that ANOTHER back surgery was better than trying the shots, and denied the shots 3x, Javier talked and worked with them until it was approved. They take the least invasive route first. You would think insurance wouldn’t want to pay for surgery instead of a shot but I’ve been told they think you will just live with the issue instead of getting surgery. Now, if I was reviewing my insurance «administrator» that would be a whole new rating! :-)

I whent from a pain Dr to Dr Lipshultz, also pain Dr, who new and told me more about my pain problem, the first visit than the other Dr did in over a year ! He is straight forward tells it like it is and already has a plan of action for me to go through if it work as good for me as much as the change to DR Lipshultz than the outer Dr it should go well I have anxiety to the sky but I’m thrilled to be moving forward Praise God and Bless us all A-​Men to everything !

Going to Monos Health has been one of the best choices I’ve made in my life, with the help of Dr. Seeds and his assistant Taylor my life has changed dramatically for the better, I’ve been to many different doctors over the years and I’ve never, never gotten the right treatment for major anxiety and depression, I honestly thought I was cursed, until I went to Monos Health, I would never share something like this online but I feel as if I need to let people know, there is real help and there are real doctors that know how to help you with a solution that is affective and long term and I found them at Monos Health, I’m forever grateful for the people at Monos Health, thank you for helping me get my life back.

I couldn’t be happier with the way dr seeds has treated my husband and I. He has changed our lives. He has always been there if we needed anything and has also always been very understanding. He even helped me and my husband on a Sunday afternoon and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend dr seeds at monos health. He’s made such a difference in our lives.

I don’t really like doing bad reviews. And This is not totally bad. I started off bad at Monos with one of the medical assistance Taylor. I don’t know if she was too busy or what but I had to call a lot regarding different issues that were suppose to be ordered. As well as the staff that deals with the insurance for MRI and procedures were always hard to get a hold of, and hardly ever called you back. Taylor though was down right rude and disrespectful to me, and acted as if .had no right be upset or be asking for the things that were suppose to be done. It was very frustrating. I will say though she did get one thing done for me, that when I in extreme pain when a weekend came, and I was very grateful for that but I had to push it to the limit.
When I was given to Javier and his assistant Jennifer I was very pleased. It was basically monthly visit and going as far as I guess as my insurance would allow. Jennifer at first was on top on things and got things done. She always called me back and I had absolutely no complaints at all. Same with Javier. No complaints. AT one point I had even got a really nasty stomach bug or something that lasted a month and he helped with the meds on that that my doctor gave me on when to stop to help me which was great. I mean He really is a great PA. He cares and knows what he is doing. I don’t have complaints there.
Things started going a bit bad over this last summer. I honestly think Jennifer his assistant got to busy. She looked tired. She still was never rude to me, but I was having to wait for things like prescriptions (not for drugs at a pharmacy but other things) and she was not returning my phone calls. Vacations were taken and business was not taken care of. I was looking for a simple prescription for a 10’s unit and pads which it only needed to faxed and the company did the rest. It never got done. So my Primary doctor did it. Then they were going to send me to Physical therapy for an shoulder injury and I called them about it, they were on vacation. He had given me a shot but it had not lasted. But he told me how important it was. I was told the insurance had not approved it yet. When I primary asked me about it, she said it does not work that way. She said I’ll take care of it, I need to get an X Ray of it then we can do an MRI after that but I’m referring you to a different pain clinic. Keep your appt with Javier for this month though. She was even surprised because she had only heard good things of him. And knew from me how happy I’d been with them.
My last visit was awkward to say the least. I told him my doctor ordered a X-​Ray and he said he wanted an MRI. I don’t know it was awkward. It was awkward when Jennifer called me back and everything. She had a prescription pad for the 10’s unit 2 months later I may add, I just don’t understand it. I really wish it would not have ended as it did. The front office was always great. They were wonderful girls. Always smiles. There back office was something that needed improvement that worked on insurance issues. Javier as a PA is great. The one time I saw DR. Lipshutz is great. He was friendly and all. I barely remember him, but he was nice. I’m just sorry our relationship had to end and I hope that maybe they can get some extra help or whatever it takes for the little things that add up.

Monos Health treats me as family. THEY ARE NOTHING LESS THEN AMAZING! I’ve been going to this practice for years, they have expanded, almost doubling their staff~therefore I have yet to see every doctor but I will tell you that Isaac, Javier and Lipshutz are all fabulous. I have been in 6 car accidents which pretty much destroyed me and put me in chronic daily pain. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed each morning and run around with my two babies. I originally went to see Doctor Lipshutz because I wanted to have a baby but with all my pain and medications, it didn’t seem like the healthiest thing to do. Lipshutz helped this happen. Unfortunately pain became unbearable putting stress on my little one at around 5 months, my OB sent me back to pain Mgt. Monos took me (pregnant) right back in. Isaac treated me and I was able to make it threw those fun 9 months… Then had a healthy 9 pounder. My son is now 8 months and I still go to Monos monthly. The girls at the front always ask about my boy and ask for pics. I feel like they have been by my side since I’ve been coming here (which tech they have Bc they work there-​lol). Anyhow, I have much more positive things to say but nonetheless they are freaking fab! One day I hope I won’t ever have to go back to monos but when that happens, the reason will be because they made that possible. PS: I love you you guys.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lipshutz, Dr. Wills, and Dr. Tunnel now for over five years. They have been nothing but great. I know at one time they may have had a problem with staff but that has long been fixed. My insurance is no longer taken there and I still continue to use them as my pain management doctors because they are simply the best. I know there are some people that might consider changing doctors because they are now more expensive because my insurance company considers them «out of network», but not me. I have personally been treated like a «druggie» by other pain doctors in Las Vegas, but never by these truly professional group of doctors.

I love this place it’s clean and non cluttered. The front staff is professional and courteous. Only once did i wait 30 minutes to be seen and the staff was curtious enough to keep me informed. Other wise the wait us ususally 15 to 20 minutes at most. DR LIPSHUTZ has an awesome bedside manner. I felt like he listened to me and talked to me and not at me. Was willing to try different treatments. The PAC Issac is awesome as well. They go out of their way to offer alternatives to pain meds. I recommend this place 5 stars.

Mr. M, who wrote the above review, could not be more correct. I’ve been waiting for a month and a half for my appt. and just found out from my insurance company that Norma, the woman whose message on her extension says she is an ‘authorization’ specialist, has not authorized anything except her own lunch. I called and left her two messages about it yesterday, and she never called me back. On thinking it over, I concluded that any doctor who would hire staff such as this, I don’t want near my spine with a needle.

Monos Health is horrible. I repeat, horrible. Please note they are also known as Monos Health Institute, and are located on 6120 South Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas, NV 89 148. 702−948−8660.
Monos Health office and staff, which include Jeremy Lipshutz, Heath Wills, and Issac Tunnel, have three times botched my scheduling and insurance billing, causing me considerable prolonged pain, anxiety, and time wasted.
All three cases are too lengthy to mention in detail, so I will describe the third, which transpired today.
Two weeks ago Dr. Lipshutz prescribed a procedure to happen today. An epidural injection to the neck (c-​spine), due to a herniated disc. I’ve actually had the condition for over nine weeks, but getting in for examination, getting MRI’s ordered, and other logistics have delayed my treatment. (Yes, I’ve been given some drugs in the meantime, but I’m not a fan of most pharmateuical drugs, as they often do damage along with helping, so it’s a double-​edged sword. I would rather treat the problem, not the symptom.) Meanwhile I’ve lost time at work, lost money, and had continual hassle while waiting for treatment or trying to get appropriate treatment.
That day, the office handed me an appointment card, signed by a staff, for 4pm December 15^th, 2014.
Also, two weeks ago, the office was supposed to start the insurance process. Most insurance companies balk at any claims, at least the first time, so it takes several days if not a week or two to push things through. You have to fax them stuff, reports, prove history of treatment, etc.
As I had already been there several times over the course of several weeks, I had no reason to think they would blow this one, especially since it was an important procedure and what all my visits had been leading up to. I even verbally reaffirmed with staff that they were going to follow through with insurance, as they handed me instructions for my upcoming procedure.
I even visited their office last Friday, discussing a recent MRI scan, and reiterated with them that I had a procedure on Monday. «See you Monday,» they said.
To prepare for the procedure, I needed to fast for six hours before, and no water 2 hours before. I also had to arrange an adult to drive me there, wait, and drive me home, since I would be on drugs of some sort while getting the epidural. I arranged to not do anything important for 24hrs afterward, like driving a car, work tasks, etc., per their procedure guidelines.
When I showed up at the office, the staff present seemed surprised, and said I wasn’t scheduled. They asked when I made the appointment and if I was sure it was today? I pulled at my appointment card, signed by the very staff who was questioning me! She confirmed that she had made the appointment two weeks ago. But for some reason it wasn’t in the system. Even worse, they haven’t even called my insurance company to start the pre-​authorization process!
The two staff proceeded to say they would try to push the claim through in a few minutes, though I knew that was mission impossible. Basically another two weeks of waiting in pain were wasted, along with my preparation.
They came back, saying the claim was denied, and tried to blame the insurance company. The other staff member took no responsibility and kept saying, well they might deny it anyway.
My insurance has paid for two MRIs and four office visits trying to fix this problem. Now that we finally have a treatment — an epidural, much more simple than surgery — they are not going to simply stop here. That is ridiculous. Rather, it takes a few days or week to push the authorization through, which they should know. And they do know.
However, like the first two mistakes Monos Health made, they tried to dismiss responsibility and ignore it or blame it on other factors.
The whole experience is completely unacceptable and demonstrates negligence. And again, has cost me extened pain, hassle, work lost, money lost, and anxiety while trying to get treatment.
Now I will be forced to find another provider, which takes another referral from my primary doctor, and more scheduling, waiting to get in, etc. I’m several weeks away from getting the epidural shot that I need, and in fact, that will make nearly 3 months of waiting for a rather simple procedure, mostly due to office and staff mistakes.
For your health and pain issues, I strongly suggest going anywhere other than Monos Health.
