We thought the show was excellent all the singers portrayed and work great we actually got our seats upgraded to the front row by asking the usher because nobody was sitting there he did not hesitate on letting us sit in the front row great seats Best show we went to on our Vegas trip

Amazing musical and story told about sun records. The musicians were wonderful, I swear at times I felt like I was watching the actual musicians. The price of this show is very reasonable making it a great value, you get a great show for a great price.
The average age of the audience was about 85 but the music was amazing.

Agree with TJK’s review. Horrible experience at theater. People sat in our seats, and usher refused to reseat them. «You work it out among yourselves. I don’t want to get in the middle.» Really? After excepting lesser seats, we asked whether we could, perhaps, get at least a drink, and he said «absolutely not.» Never experienced such rude and unprofessional behaviour.
While show is nice, stay far away from Harrah’s and their staff. Much better and friendlier treatment at most other hotels in Vegas.

Outstanding, talented and mesmerizing. They are all so very talented and we didn’t want the show to end! This show is in a small venue with no fancy décor or anything like that just pure talent in the room! The show reasonably is priced which goes to show you that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to see a great show. We will see this show again. You cannot get a bad seat in this showroom but try to get tickets in the center. They have booths and regular seating. We sat in a booth and is was very comfortable.

One of the very best shows we have seen in any city or venue! All very talented and entertaining from the first moment to the encore. The show room is very nice and reminded me of the old Vegas. I would highly recommend the show and the amazing talent made you feel you were really there that night.

What a talented bunch of performers! True story of the early days of Sun Recording studio with Sam Phillips and the talent that he discovered then lost. Very entertaining and all of the performers were WAY above par. Highly recommend :)

Excellent show and a must see in Vegas if you like Johnny Cash or Elvis. I’m a Johnny Cash fan and had to listen to lots of Elvis on the oldies station in The car as a kid. I’m not as up on Jerry Lee Lewis other than «Great Balls of Fire» and had never heard of Carl Perkins until the show. It’s not just a concert, more like a play where they parts of some songs and all of some other ones. It’s apparently at least somewhat based on a true story where they all got together one night. The guys in this show do a first class job, no bad cover bands here.
I enjoyed the show even though I’m way too young to remember those days. The older people in the crowd knew all those songs and could sing along. I stayed at Harrah’s so got a half price voucher, pay the extra few bucks for the theatre seats or you might be turned awkwardly sideways at a table for 2 hours watching the show.

4 Star Show in a 1 Star Venue
We have been to the real Sun Records in Memphis and thought it would be great to see this show.
The show itself was great. The actors were very talented, particularly the ones playing Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. The only draw back to the show itself was the introduction of «Elvis’s girlfriend», who sang two songs that had nothing to do with Sun Records. I would have rather that time be devoted to the actual Sun Records performers, but I guess it was in the interest of moving the story along.
The theater at Harrah’s came close to ruining the experience. We were seated at a table that was small for four people, but was seating 6. I wasn’t expecting having to socialize and we had to look crane our necks 90 degrees and look around the other couples to see the stage. Fortunately it wasn’t an overly busy night, and by slipping a tip to the usher we were able to get closer seats with more traditional theater seating.
After that bump in the road the show was great! I would definitely recommend it, but be aware of the seating situation.

My husband talked me into seeing this musical play, since he knew the Sam Phillips — Sun Records story. He’s a fan of many genres of music, I’m a little more discriminating. I’m a huge Elvis fan, appreciate Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. I’d never heard of Carl Perkins. After the show I have much more respect for all, and their music! The music was so damn good, performances excellent, story interesting. Totally recommend everyone seeing this show, as you won’t regret it. I thought the actor that portrayed Sam Phillips was stellar!

A friend at work had some extra tickets to this show. We have never heard of this show, but when we heard about Elvis and Johnny Cash being in it, we had to go!
This show did not disappoint! Johnny Cash was the highlight to this on this show. I was very entertained. I was also amused that the whole showroom was pretty much required to get up and dance to their closing numbers.
Quite a treat for a few hours of our time.
The usher for the showroom and lady taking drink orders was very good at what they do.
If I was offered tickets to this show again, I would definitely go again!

Instead of bar hopping in Vegas, we decided to show hop during the last day of our visit to Vegas and this was our last show. I loved it! My husband is a musician and I love old school music. The music and talent makes this show my favorite musical in Vegas. I felt that I was in 1956 watching the recording session live. The shows ends with everyone getting up and dancing (my favorite part).

I saw the billboard for this show on the way into Vegas on a family trip and yelled to my parents «OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO GO SEE JERRY LEE!» Also a fan of Cash, Presley, and Perkins, so it was like a dream show for me.
This show is FREAKING AMAZING. I’m 31, a woman, and I enjoyed it just as much as my father who is in his early 70s (as were most of the people in the audience, it seems). The musicians are mind-​blowingly talented, better at their craft than I’ll ever be at anything in my life. I liked the show aspect of it and I learned a lot about the history of Sun Records, which was very interesting because I like to pretend I’m living in the ‘50s anyway. If you like this kind of music then you will love the live show. Go check it out. It is SO GOOD, you guys.

Fantastic show! This Broadway show is really amazing and unique in that the actors not only act and sing, but have to play their instruments live! And it is LIVE, so you get a slightly different performance each night.
One real-​life night in 1956 (I think) four legends — Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins — all were together at Sun Studios in Memphis, and the show is a fictional account of what might have happened on that night. No one knows for sure, but they give an interesting take on how it might have happened.
Standout performers all around… Martin Kaye is great as Jerry Lee, the backing band is awesome, and the beautiful Felice Garcia adds some feminine talent as the only female on stage, playing Elvis’ girlfriend. Even if you aren’t a fan of this music, you will really like this show!

Two friends said I had to see this. It was the best show in Vegas. One friend had already seen in 3 times (note, we all get free tickets).
I’m glad I went, but I don’t think it topped Human Nature (and I’m not a Motown or boy-​band fan).
What’s good about the show? 6 musicians (the 4 leads plus bass and drums) playing and singing live. Go see that!
What’s wrong with the show? To create a story line, they don’t always finish songs which is annoying. Also, there’s characters doing asides to move the plot forward. The plot feels contrived, and is unnecessary. And it slows the show down.
Yes, the Jerry Lee Lewis performer does steal the show, but the show is written with that in mind. The musician playing Carl Perkins held his own, playing a solid guitar.
The addition of the female character was smart, adding a nice contrast in voice and view to the show.
It’s simple: if you like live music, it’s a very good show once you get around the forced dialog.

I got a message from a member of the cast telling me I was wrong about my comments of the actors not playing their guitars. The cast member told me it was not correct to state the men faked playing their guitars and let me know that all of the cast play their guitars.
Because of this new information, I would upgrade the show to four stars from my previous review. It is a good show!

Very well done version of the touring show. The singing was excellent – the variety of songs were really incredible. You can’t help but tap your feet, clap your hands and sing along.
This one-​act show has no set changes and is an examination of one night in the lives of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins as they collaborated in the old Sun Studios together with their old manager before each of them exploded into musical phenoms. It’s a simple show with classic tunes, superb singing, and live instrument playing. With so many shows over doing it with distracting glitz and set changes, the simplicity of Million Dollar Quartet is downright endearing. You catch your breath when they show the original photograph from the actual night the show is about and see the real Elvis, Killer, Cash, and Perkins playing together. It’s truly a glimpse into a historical moment in music and one you will not regret seeing.
Definitely worth the price of admission!

Remember those lame-​ass cheesy sitcom episodes, where the writers couldn’t think of a story so they just cobbled together old footage into a «flashback» episode? Like, «Haha, that was great… but hey, remember the time I got a toilet plunger stuck up my ass? Now THAT was a memory!» Then, doo dee doo dee, the screen goes all wavy and dissolves into the flashback clip?
Well, that’s all this show basically is. Five impersonators — Sam Phillips, Elvis, Johnny Cash, J.L. Lewis and Carl Perkins, bullshitting about «Remember this?» and «Remember that?» and playing old-​time rock.
It’s not a bad show — the impersonators are excellent, the music rocks pretty hard, and the set design is pretty cool. It’s just… boring. No plot, very little action.
That being said, the performers are GREAT! The Elvis guy really sounds and looks EXACTLY like Elvis, and the rest of ‘em are great as well. And they do some really cool musical numbers.
So if you look at it as a concert, I guess it’s OK. As a show, however, I found it kinda dull.
