Not sure why musicians would want to perform here in the dead of Vegas summer. It was sooooooo hot. Huge cement lot. Food vendors were okay. Beer selection was good! Porter potties only. I did get sick from the heat, but not until we got back to our hotel. It was almost as though standing within the crowd or the adrenalin from the show sort of helped me stay content during the concert… And that once we had to move and walk back I really started to feel it… If that makes sense. Don’t waste your time with the shuttle to the village. It’s a 15 min walk. When the concert ended we taxi’d from the tropicana which is closer to the village than the Mgm. We also didn’t know exactly where the Mgm village was in relation to the actual Mgm hotel. The concierge in the Mgm was very helpful. She also called to see if the vendors were accepting credit card, because once your in there is no way out until the end, and I wasn’t sure about atms, which they did have. During the second to last performance the beer stands started getting very busy. Earlier in the night the service was much quicker.

«That runs through all my veins «And helps me to hold on» — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – It is not a life-altering experience that one will have at MGM Resort Village for the venue itself; however, there may be some good shows to be caught here. The space definitely has potential, but it is A-OK. The staff is competent. What more is there? In sum — it’s a fucking parking lot without stall lines painted down. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – Pro Tip: There are ATMs. More importantly — to sustain life — there is also a drinking water station east of the southernmost ATM near the exit for Giles that is opened up for egress. If you don’t have a clue what I am talking(typing) about, buy a Dasani® at the bar. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – Pro Tip: Wear hearing protection. Pro Tip: Wear high SPF sunscreen. Pro Tip: Don’t drink and drive. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – There is a dirt lot across the street(East) on Giles that is used for parking; however, I have used it only to retrieve passes at the box. The box for MGM Resort Village is a trailer for will call/list — split up into VIP and GA — and another for ticket sales. Box is short for ticket box office, and if you did not already realise this, go get another Dasani®. It is actually wiser to park at one of the MGM properties along the Blvd: Mandalay Bay, Luxor, or Excalibur. Tropicana is nearby as well; however, I would not mess with the ghost of Benjamin Siegel if I were you. If taken mass public transit, both the SDX and Deuce stop alongside the west wall(southbound), and northbound RTC drops you off in front of the Mandalay Bay, which is across the street. The Mandalay Bay-Excalibur tram also as an option, paired with the City Centre tram or the Monorail, if originating from farther south. The private airport is right there as well if you’re Paris Hilton. The point is that this is a venue with many travel options as to how to reach. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – Personally, I have attended multiple shows here: iHeartRadio, Summer’s Last Stand, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, et cetera. Never had any problems*. The schedule for future events can be found here: .(Search for Village.) *The shuttle for iHeartRadio is a disaster; just walk … Egress could definitely be handled better for every event I have attended here. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — — — — — – Rating: Three-stars, «A-OK.»
