Memories In a Flash

I’ve been waiting to write this based on a refund agreement with Vince, one of the owners, I guess. He did my husband’s and my wedding in September. They fell through on several of their ‘promises’ that we signed a contract on. The printer didn’t work at all all night and the whole set up was down for an hour out of the 3 we paid for. We also paid for a layout that was all wrong. Because the printer wasn’t working, all the photos were mixed up. there were photos of my mother-​in-​law in the same block as my ‘tipsy’ friends haha. Lucky for me, I have a rad MIL. Regardless, we met with Vince 2 days after the event, and he had photos in hand for me. 80% of those photos were mismatched and I handed them right back to him. I requested a refund for the amount paid for the ‘special’ format as well as a partial refund for the time that the photo booth wasn’t working. Our reverend was there when he agreed and when we got back home, they were non-​responsive offering irrelevant excuses as to why they are no longer going to refund us. I’m shocked at how many of these reviews have been filtered… If you want a quality photo booth company, don’t use these guys. Seriously. Don’t.

I really want to love this but I would be lying to myself. A couple of issues made this a unpleasant experience.
1) The person manning the station did not seem very competent in working with the equipment. When we requested pictures on the spot, she mentioned the printer being out of order and being unable to fix it.
2) Since it was advertised, I was under the impression that the pictures taken at the booth could be sent to our smartphones so we could immediately upload and share with family and friends. Totally not the case here, the girl at the computer said we would receive the pictures as a whole at a later time.
4) A good majority of the pictures came out off center and the background edges could be seen.
5) Most of the props were either broken, punctured, and overly used to the point where it was almost questionable to put on/​hold. The word «cooties» immediately comes to mind.
6) the girl manning the station also seemed like she was in a rush to go — «take more pictures», «you only have an hour to go», etc. This is a wedding reception not a photoshoot, please calm down.
All in all, I was hoping this photobooth would be one of the perks of the night, in that, MOST if not all the pictures from that night came out great. Let’s just say out of a 100%, only 60% came out decent (faces can be seen, smiles are there). I’ll have to think twice about going back to these guys.

Hard to review if they don’t show up

This company doesn’t deserve any stars! All it deserves is to be shut down and go out of business. My relationship first started with this company when I bought a deal off of Groupon. We were going to use them in our company event. I called them 6 times within 2 weeks and didn’t receive a SINGLE call back. They NEVER answer their phones! I finally left a bad post on their facebook (which they promptly blocked me from so i can never post there again) and got a call bad. I began working with Inti Garcia who has ZERO customer service and the personality of a thumb tack. All he wanted to do was upsell me and couldn’t even adequately explain all these mysterious surcharges that I was being charged. So I scheduled the event for Aug 24^th. Well unfortunately, on August 22^nd, a co-​workers child was swept away in the flood waters here in Vegas. So my company shut down the office to go on the search for the missing kid, which obviously cancelled our event. When I called In-​A-​Flash to tell them, their response was «well, you’ll have to talk to my legal department since you broke the contract. I don’t deal with these things.» When I said well I just simply need to reschedule to next week, he cut me off again and said, «you can talk to my legal department and then my boss, but I don’t deal with it from here.» REALLY?! We had a national LOCAL tragedy and not even a bit of common courtesy was offered. Of course, if I thought it was pulling teeth to get them to call me in the first place, I’m not suprised they still haven’t called me about this. Only, now they’ve already been paid! Horrible. This company is an absolute disgrace and I hope you think twice before getting into business with them. They have low ethics, if any at all. They should be embarassed!!!

We used In a Flash Photo Booth for our wedding reception last night! Everyone LOVED IT! Great customer service and fast replies whenever I had a question. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for any occasion! Great guest gifts and we received copies as well of the photo fun!
