to US News and World Report. While in law school, she centered her educational focus on the areas of tax law, bankruptcy, and the Uniform Commercial Code. After completing law school, Ms. Jordan successfully passed both the Nevada and Oregon bar examinations in 2003. She is currently an active member of both bar associations and in good standing.

After obtaining her license to practice law, Ms. Jordan worked as a litigator in Nevada for nearly five years. While employed as a litigator, she was responsible for defending complex, multimillion-​dollar cases involving numerous plaintiffs and defendants. Prior to that and during law school, Ms. Jordan served as a law clerk in a large, full-​service law firm in the tax litigation, estate planning, and commercial bankruptcy departments.
