Because I have to grow out of my sweatpants, my sister told me to get a Loft store and get me some wardrobe basics.
Like a pair of dressy black trousers. **Shudder**. Next thing you know, I’ll be wearing pointy shoes with heels with a blazer. My stomach is turning.
What the hell is wrong with Crocs anyway?
Enough about my resistance to Fashion Rehab.
Being the cheap ass that I am, I head right to the clearance rack at the Loft outlet during Thanksgiving weekend which meant an extra 40% off entire purchase. I found two pairs of dress pants discounted to $ 17.99. I slip them on. Okay, not as good as sweatpants but at least I don’t have to worry if I pig out at AYCE fish and chips night at McMullen’s. So, I get two pairs. And threw in two tunic knit tops for $ 11 each.
It wasn’t as bad as I thought and I was able to get a decent deal on pants. I will probably be back looking for work basics again.
