Dr. Letelier’s expertise covers a wide range of procedures from wisdom tooth extraction and dental implants to facial and dental trauma. He is well known and highly regarded for his treatment of patients with missing teeth and severe bone loss.
Dr. Letelier is a renowned expert in the placement of Zygomatic Implants, which allow patients with very little bone to benefit from dental implants.
Dr. Letelier’s practice, The Center for Oral Surgery of Las Vegas, is JCAHO accredited. This is a quality/safety level used for hospitals and rarely achieved by oral surgery practices.
History
Established in 2001.
Dr. Letelier has a passion for excellence that is reflected in his distinguished background and education credentials. He began his dentistry studies in Chile where he earned a DDS degree and then enrolled in Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a DMD degree. He went on to complete his surgical residency and graduate from UCLA Medical School with both an MD and OMFS degree.
Dr. Letelier taught for 4 years in the OMFS residency program at Fresno’s University Medical Center. He opened his private practice here in Las Vegas in 2001. He is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Letelier manages a wide variety of problems related to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. Dr. Letelier practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Cosmetic Facial Surgery to Corrective Jaw Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal. He can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain and Injuries, and performs a full range of Dental Implant procedures.
Dr. Letelier completed his DDS degree in his native land of Chile, graduating with maximum distinction. He then moved to the United States where he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and obtained his DMD degree. After graduating summa cum laude from Tufts University, Dr. Letelier underwent 8 additional years of training. He started with a one year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Connecticut dental school.
