I saw Dr Lesani once for E.D., due to cancer, my prostate had to be removed. Rather than prescribe a medication thru a local pharmacist, he wanted me to buy medication from their pharmacy a month in the future for $ 250. I found the medication from local pharmacy for $ 40. He prescribed a very low dose and low potency to see«what worked». His assistant Bianca told me if the prescription was not adequate they would prescribe a stronger dose. I have left three messages over past two weeks for a prescription renewal with a higher potency. No one has even returned my calls. Dr Lesani himself was pleasant enough, but I would definitely not recommend Las Vegas Urology. Perhaps because of the humiliating nature of my problem they are counting on me not posting

The healthcare system in Las Vegas is HORRIBLE. I moved here from CA and it took a month to get in to see a primary care doctor! I have been experiencing left flank pain since mid October and its gotten worse and worse. I’ve been to the ER, Urgent Care, a primary care doctor, a nephrologist … and after what seems like a million urinalysis later… not a single thing was done. At first they thought it was a UTI that went to my kidneys, after antibiotics still have flank pain. Nephrologist gave me another urinalysis only to never return my calls about my results. I looked online and found great reviews for Dr. Lesani so I scheduled an appointment with him last week and was able to be seen on Monday. When I first walked into the office I was thinking uh oh. There were about 12 other people there! My appointment was at 9:40AM and I was told to come about 20 min earlier to fill out paperwork. Paperwork didn’t take very long, and around 9:55 I was called in to give a urine sample and directed into a room. The MA took my blood pressure using a blood pressure machine that went on my wrist. It said ERROR twice. Finally on the third try it worked. My diastolic blood pressure was around 40 and she said thats kind of low. UMMM… thats actually really low! She should have done it again for a more accurate reading. The doctor came in shortly. He looked at the paperwork I filled out with the signs and symptoms of why I was being seen and list of current medications. He didn’t ask about lab results that I brought with me until I brought it up to him. First thing he said was that he was going to schedule me for a CT(FINALLY! I should have gotten one ages ago!!!) and a cystoscopy. I am not entirely sure if the cystoscopy is necessary… hopefully they’ll find something on the CT. Dr. Lesani spoke very fast and yes, doesn’t use laymen’s terms like healthcare providers should. Luckily for me, I’m in nursing school and understood everything that he said. Doctors can’t diagnose you from just blood tests or urinalysis alone. They need other diagnostic tests to help them with that. Some people might think, oh an ultrasound or xray would be cheaper but it may not pick up everything that is going on in your body. I would rather be safe then sorry. If it turns out I have kidney disease or cancer, I would be VERY upset that none of the other doctors I saw even thought about doing a CT scan because I am young and a non smoker. The doctor didn’t take a long time with me, but at least he asked me about my pain level. He does talk fast, but just ask him to clarify things that you don’t understand or repeat what he said. I asked him about an abnormal lab value and he said it could be kidney disease… ummm shouldn’t I be worried?!? The line for checkout was longer then my conversation with the doctor. Once I sat down to speak with the person at checkout, it made sense why. She scheduled a CT for me by calling the place that I chose, and they didn’t pick up right away. She did mention on the phone that insurance has to preapprove of the CT scan and she didn’t want me to go all the way there without an approval. She also mentioned that they were short staffed as well. I’m kind of worried because another review mentioned Dr. Lesani’s bedside manner… but I will update my review after my cystoscopy.

Dr. kurtz is Rude and unprofessional. I had to reschedule and later found out after many unreturned voicemails I’ve left them to find out my results … That he «dismissed me» and I’m no longer able to see any doctor here or able to reschedule from 1 appointment I couldn’t make it to. I went in early December and it is February 4th and still haven’t been told how my urine sample came back orrrrr even atleast a courtesy call. Nothing. On top of that you’ll wait well over an hr/hr &half.

Very very un organize office. Wait time is over an hour so their is no sense of making an appointment if you have to wait that long. Then when getting in the room again their is a very long wait. Very nice Dr but office is very busy. Need to change on wait time for patients so appointments go smoothly.

My doctor had seen something suspicious on my MRI so he sent me here to get checked out. I had a CT scan of my abdomen done here and they found a kidney stone. I met with Dr. Goli, who was really nice and explained everything. I recently did a follow up ultrasound on my kidney and there has been no change in the stone and it’s not causing me problems so we’re just keeping an eye on it for now. I am very pleased with Dr. Goli and his entire office staff. It’s so convenient that they have an imaging department in house. I will continue with visits to this doctor.

What a joke. I called my MD office twice yesterday and they faxed test results to LV Urology. Each call they waited as fax was sent to #s supplied by LV Urology. I arrive today and they say they don’t have them, as their staff looks thru an18″ stack of u sorted faces. Then later nurse is snooty because I ask about my test results. Why would I waste my time with a Doctor that doesn’t even have results. Staff not very friendly. Doesn’t seem like they like being here.
