Meet the Business Owner

Joel R.

Business Owner

Originally from Minneapolis, Joel migrated to Las Vegas in 2001, immediately landing the drum chair in the house band at the Blue Note.

In 2004, Joel created and was the host drummer for the long-​running Hurricane Jam Session, where he played alongside a stream of extraordinary musicians including, Victor Wooten (Bela Fleck and the Flecktones), Billy Peterson (Steve Miller Band), members of the Gladys Knight Band, the Barry Manilow Band, Havana Night Club, the Frankie Valli Band, The Clint Holmes Band and The Danny Gans Band.

Joel’s career also includes performances with Dave Brubeck, Ronnie Foster, John Novello (Niacin), The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Jeff Healey Band, Bob Berg, Regis Philbin, The Drifters, The Platters, The Coasters, and Bowser (Sha-​Na-​Na). He has performed in Las Vegas productions of «Mamma Mia,» «The Soprano’s Last Supper,» «Five Guys Named Moe,» «Nunsense,» «Tease,» and many others.
