I didn’t drive any of the cars, but was a spectator for 2 members of my party that did. Both my buddies drove the ’14 Corvette C7 Stingray Z51. This is one of the cheaper cars to drive @ $ 249 for 5 laps. The laps are accompanied by a driving instructor. You are not allowed to drive the cars solo-occupied. You can also drive Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and the popular Nissan GT-R, which clocks in around 525 hp. This is one of the fastest cars – horsepower wise – in the fleet. There are several million dollars worth of cars at the track for you to drive. Website lists a McLaren, but I don’t think that was part of the fleet this day. Also, no Bugatti’s(yet). Takes about a 20 – 30 min drive from the Strip hotels to get to the Speedway. They also have a shuttle that can come pick you up for $ 40 each way. After paying, you have a short instructional class. Then, they fit you with a helmet and you wait your turn with a certified driving instructor. If money is no concern for you, then you could easily drop a thousand or so on the additional laps and various upsells. The 5 lap experience is over in about 7 minutes. The company didn’t seem to be wanting for customers this day, and all the employees were super-cool & friendly. Just didn’t seem worth it to me, personally for such a short experience. However, my buddies were glad that they did it and had a blast.
