Las Vegas Endodontics

Let’s face it, going to get a root canal is never fun, but I would not hesitate to come back to the office when needed. I had to get two root canals done right next to each other, and one was a retreat. Having recently had another root canal at a different Endodontist office, I was honestly dreading how much this was going to hurt. I didn’t need to. It was exceptionally quick, recovery time for two teeth was a fraction of what it had been the previous time on just a single tooth, and even though another Endo had suggested I have an additional tooth done, the Dr here preferred I waited to be sure it wasn’t a case of referring pain. Dr. Christensen thoroughly tested my teeth, made sure I was comfortable during my visit, explained everything, found the problems that had been an issue, and was professional, patient, and I would gladly return here if or when I may need additional work, even though it is rather far from our home. Worth the drive, excellent care, very pleased.

I thought that Stephanie the assistant to the dentist was really sweet and I liked her a lot and she was very good and calming me down because I hate dentists in general. During the root canal which made me more nervous she was able to continue de-​escalating my stress levels

I have had a lot of dental work in my 32 years of life. A lot of bad dental work, some good dental work. When I had pain in my nose cavity of course I was worried. I got 2 opinions from general dental offices regarding the pain and was told that I was going to possibly need my two front teeth pulled with implants. No way did I want implants. The 2^nd dentist I saw referred me to this office to see what Dr. Christensen thought.
The office is located on Sahara in a reddish building next to carmax. There is assigned parking right out front for dental patients which is nice. The dental office is warm and inviting. I was brought in with a small wait and had a CT/​3D scan of my mouth and a series of x-​rays. The technology is really amazing. I could see my whole jaw and teeth in 3D. Dr. Christensen reviewed the diagnostics and advised he could treat the area without taking out the teeth. Boy was I relieved.
I went in a few weeks later to have two root canals redone and my mouth cut open to put in bone grafts. I took some sedation pills they gave and the 3 hour procedure literally felt like 15 min. Dr. Christensen and his assistant Stephanie really put me at ease. Anytime I felt pain, I would raise my hand and they would immediately put more anesthetic in my mouth. Dr. Christensen has a comforting way about him and low voice. I have been to other dentists that talk about random stuff when doing your teeth or chattering back and forth with their assistants (prob why I have so many dental problems). That was definitely not this dentist.
Dr. Christensen called me the next day, which was a Saturday morning, to see how I was feeling. He advised me I would probably feel worse the next day, which I did.
The follow up to get the stitches out went well and overall I am feeling good about it. We will continue to follow up to make sure my mouth is healing.
I would definitely go back to this office or recommend this dentist.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Biggs because I needed a root canal on my back molar (which was bent inwards more than normal). I wasn’t sure what to expect pain-​wise and was most definitely nervous.
Dr. Biggs as well as his staff are very welcoming; they make you forget every other scary dental experience you had as a child. Your chair faces floor to ceiling windows that give you a nice mountain view in the distance… much better than blankly staring at an office wall with a tooth diagram.
The best part of the entire experience? Little pain! I took 2 ibuprofen the day of my procedure and have not touched it since. I know others who have had more painful root canals and consider myself very lucky to have been taken care of by such a knowledgable medical professional. A+++++!

After a routine cleaning my general dentist diagnosed me with an abscess and referred me to Dr. Brizzee. Less then a week later I was in his office getting prepped for a root canal. All staff were very friendly. Bridgett, Dr. Brizzee’s assistant toke great care in making sure I was comfortable and she was very accommodating. Upon introduction to Dr. Brizzee he was very thorough about the process of a root canal and his explanation of what an abscess is. He was on time and never rushed me or the procedure. He followed the procedure with yet another explanation of what happens after a root canal and requested a follow up to make sure the infection (abscess) is clearing up and bone effected by the infection is gaining its integrity back. Antibiotics were prescribed. Bridgett then walked me out of the exam room to reception with further instructions for post procedure. Very professional medical staff. I feel very confident that my follow up exam will show that all is well.
Highly recommended.

I have crappy teeth… it is my burden to bear… I also want a beautiful smile. In addition to Dr. Soumi at Gardens Cosmetic Dentisty, I have Dr. Christensen at Las Vegas Endodontics. Not only does he get root canals on molars done in one shot, I FELL ASLEEP in my root canal! I have seen him 3 or 4 times, and every time he was amazing. He is truly a master of his craft and a true caregiver. Root canals SUCK, there is no denying that! However, if you must endure one, see Dr. Christensen!

The staff was so friendly along with Dr. Christensen who was fabulous. Gwen was so sweet in keeping me informed about whats happening. I have a fear for dentist and being it was a root canal that was way just too much for me. But Dr. made sure my tooth was totally numbed before starting the procedure. It turned out all good. After 3 weeks of night pain it all went away.

I was referred by Silver State Smiles after developing tooth pain which was getting worse… I called right away and explained I was in pain… to my surprise and relief they told me to come right over!!! Within an hour I was pain free! They were very nice and compassionate and Dr. Rizzie was very nice and explained everything he was gonna do. When I thanked them they said «it’s what we do and we understand how bad tooth pain can be… we didn’t want you to be in pain over the weekend» Very impressed with their care… I will be going back next week to finish my treatment and are now pain free. Thank you Las Vegas Endodontics!!!

Dr. Christensen was wonderful, as was Gwen who assisted him during my procedure. My nephew headbutted me in the face, leaving my right front tooth dead. It started to turn grey, and I became very self conscious about my appearance. I was referred to LV Endo by Dr. James White, who is a GREAT dentist. Dr. Christensen made me feel completely at ease. He explained the whole procedure to me and explained exactly why my tooth was dead. When he removed the nerve, he also bleached my tooth from the inside. After placing a temporary filling on the back (I will have Dr. White permanently fill it/​crown it later), they allowed me to clean myself up, gave me some Motrin and a mirror. My tooth is back to being white and beautiful from being bleached during the nerve removal. It’s pretty cheesy but I almost teared up a little bit when I saw it, because I have felt pretty badly about my black «pirate» tooth, haha. I would recommend them to anybody. They also are working with my insurance to get me extra coverage due to my tooth being damaged my facial trauma.

I thought this was a great office initially. I went to get a root canal that was done about 5 years ago by another dentist cleaned when it became infected. 20 months later I ended up getting a cyst apparently on the top of the root. When I had heard a neighbor of mine lost her tooth when she had a cyst I became gravely concerned. By the way this is my front tooth. In addition my insurance does not cover the procedure, therefore, making this more problematic and concerning for me. I had an appointment about 20 days away and after I had talked to my neighbor I wanted to make an appointment much closer. I called the office and I have to admit I was feeling pretty panicked since I had waited 5 days to speak with them since they were taking a vacation due to Thanksgiving. I told the receptionist that if my tooth fell out that I would have to get the doctor to pay for it, the lost tooth because I felt he had failed to clean it initially thus becoming reinfected. They called me back within an hour and said they had a cancellation and scheduled me to come in the same day which was today and I picked up all the prescriptions I needed. I received a call later stating from the office manager I believe the wife of the endodontist that she would be cancelling my appointment. She would also be refunding any money that I had paid the endodontist in the past because she stated that I said I would sue them and so therefore she did not want to do business with me anyway longer and to look for someone else. I went to call her back and explain the situation, she picked up the phone without saying anything and hung it up on me. I think this kind of treatment is poor when it comes to a customer who is panicked. I was assured by the assistant and felt good about the appointment after the fact but I guess that was not good enough. I have since I made an appointment with an oral surgeon and feel more comfortable since this procedure will be going into the jaw or past the bone structure. Alas no one likes to be treated in this way. I at least apologized for my behavior shortly after it happened and thought everything was fine. There was a full misunderstanding. When someone is in the field of medicine they should expect for concerns and questions which were answered by the assistant, Ave had eased my mind. Well, to close I should be receiving my refund check in the mail and feel better about the new provider I will be consulting with tomorrow. He is an oral surgeon and he appears to have much more education. Let’s hope this is my final visit.

I went there for a complicated root canal and I was in and out in no time. I was supposed to have pain for 1 – 2 weeks after procedure but I had none. I didn’t even took a pill after the procedure. And even better, they discovered some credit on my account and they sent me a refund.
Doesn’t get better than this! :)
