This is the place that made me like jerky. Clearly I’d been trying the wrong brands. The Jerky is super tender, and you can taste the difference. They only use high quality natural ingredients. Friendly staff, and lots of variety. My favorite is the El Gaucho! The prime rib is really tasty too. Try the sweet and sour giver basil cashews. Just be careful, this stuff is addictive!!!

Love love love this jerky! And the Wasabi ginger cashews are to die for! I have my favorites but I’m sure they are all good. My dogs even love when I bring home a bag of treats for them.

Hands down, best jerky! I bought the Sweet Heat for myself, which was the perfect amount of heat, I ate the entire bag in one sitting! My son loves the Teriyaki Beef and I couldn’t forget my «fur-​kids», I bought them a bag of the beef and a bag of the turkey Top Ten dog treats, they went CRAZY for the stuff! Customer service was awesome too, really cool guys working the shop. Love this place!

Amazing hidden gem. Staff was knowledgeable & courteous. Oh that jerky was on point and the «he’ll on earth» sauce was fiyah. Loved it.

Top notch. This is really good stuff. I’ve actually known Hans Hippert, the owner, for a very long time. I’ve seen this company grow from Hans making jerky for friends and family into what has the potential to become a household name. It’s that good. There’s two locations in town and you can often find Jojos in various festivals and farmers markets, but if you want to pop into this little spot and pick up some of the best jerky that you’ve ever had, I highly recommend it. My personal favorite is the super jerky. It’s loaded with protein and is great for dieting or working out and on top of that, it tastes delicious. Trust me, if you haven’t come across Jojos at a festival or farmers market, don’t miss out. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Best jerky I’ve ever had. So tender. I may have to stop in again before I go it was so good! The guy working was very friendly and helpful. Engaged my kids in conversation too. Extra points for being sweet to my kids!!!

This is the best Jerky I’ve had ever! They have a great selection. I chose the Wasabi Horseradish Prime Rib and the Triple Threat. They both were excellent and I look forward to trying the other flavors next time I come by. Go check them out at the Farmers Market at Downtown Summerlin on Saturdays.

Came across their small store just off the strip in Vegas, met the owner who was super cool, let us try and bunch of flavors and i ended up buying 3 packets. really enjoy the thai chili one! Will be ordering more online soon!

Stopped into their newest store at the Bazaar shops (which as of time of writing doesn’t have a dedicated Unilocal page) yesterday afternoon with my dad. They were extremely helpful, passionate and enthusiastic about their product and that shone through. The samples were generous and they were more than happy to shoot the breeze beyond just their business, to talk about music, other local small businesses and letting us sample and suggest a variety of jerkies, sauces and rubs. It’s apparent they care about what they are putting into their product. Bought four bags of jerky, from the Wasabi Horseradish Prime Rib, Sweet Heat Spicy Thai Chili, Carne Asada, and Triple Threat, all four amazing, simple ingredients but blended so they compliment one another and can be tasted individually. My only regret is I didn’t buy enough to last the long road trip home. Will return soon hopefully and will have to order from their website until then to get my fix. Even though they aren’t local to me, if you’re in Las Vegas or just looking for a good jerky, support a good small business with friendly staff and a superior product.

This is by far the best jerky I have ever had. The flavors are so perfectly paired! I love the fact that they have cactus jerky for my vegetarian friends, and who ever likes it! If you love jerky you must try some of theirs! They are usually at the farmers market at downtown Summerlin so go see!

What isn’t good here?! Famous for their jerky and only using the freshest ingredient s. You got to check out their rubs! Great for sprinkling on almost anything. vegetables cream cheese sour cream creating dips and of course any proteins.

Ordered some online and was very easy, it came within a week. Delicious as usual (Jerk, Thai, Pepper, Teriyaki and Wasabi our fav). Leaving on vacation to Puerto Rico on Tuesday and ordered a ton more to snack on it on the beach. Called in to see if it would arrive by then and the owner actually answered and was very friendly. He definitely appreciates his clients. Oh and coupons and nutritional information are on the horizon!

Most people know about Jojos from Farmers Markets or events. Same goes for me as I discovered them during a Unilocal Christmas event. Recently they opened up a storefront in the Container Park (which has a separate listing) that is gaining them new fans. This location in Chinatown is their main office hub where the jerky is made, but they do sell their products here as well.
It was right by work, so we decided to swing by once we found out it existed. The one downside is there isn’t samples to try of the jerky before buying at this location. I assume they don’t get that many people at this location and mainly is just their office.
We decided to get wasabi flavor jerky, peppered strips, carloca carne asada jerky, and their jerk spice dry rub. The Carne asada and dry rub we threw into a gift for someone so I can’t comment on that, but the other two were for us. The wasabi flavor was nice, but it was a tad salty for me. Their jerky isn’t the thin sheet style, but more like chunks or nuggets which is tender and a bit more moist. The strips is pounded out meat that’s formed into shape which is normally not my thing as most of them just taste fake and low quality, but I like their quality. I think I may like it better than the chunk jerky even.
Support your locals! This is definitely better than average product and it really doesn’t cost more than store brand jerky that is levels below in quality.

Sampled spicy & sweet varieties. Purchased a bag of teriyaki jerky. I loved the spicy but we settled on the teriyaki because my 3 year old LOVED IT. NO Preservatives, high protein, & something I can get him to eat. That’s a winner for me!!! & something I feel good about.

The guy that works here or owns this place is definitely awesome. Located in the container park down town I think this is a neat little store. Aside from varying different jerky they sell nuts and some of their apparel. BTW their shirts are printed on American apparel which is good quality stuff. Anyways after I tried a bunch I bought the 3 for $ 20 which was a good deal for speciality items.
The jerky flavors were all pretty good but I honestly didn’t like the texture of the meat. I couldn’t see myself eating it a whole bag let alone 3. I support local places so that’s all I’ll say. They do give samples so definitely try them out. You can tell you spent time making the flavors.

I met a gentleman selling Jojo’s Jerky at a farmer’s market on Eastern and Serene in early November 2013. I didn’t purchase anything but wish I did.
At a recent visit to the Container Park Downtown, I was delighted to find that there was a Jojo’s location convenient and accessible. The man who helped us decide on our jerky was very helpful and attentive with samples, thoughts, and humor. We purchased one bag on this trip, which was Peppered (and gone about the same we got home) but will absolutely buy more in the near future.
Outstanding local business — the food is great, the products are reasonably priced, and the service is outstanding. Definitely check out some of their products!

We don’t usually stray too far from Fremont st experience but we are glad we did. We are huge jerky lovers and this place has really tender, fresh and flavorful jerky. It will definetly become a go to spot to atv stop by when I’m in town.
We usually stop by the alien jerky on our way back to l. a but this beats it by a long shot.

Jojo’s is a perfect example of the need and rationale behind the phrase «buy local». Hans and his crew make the best jerky in the valley, hands down. You want strips? They have ‘em. Nuggets? They have those, too. Not a beef lover? They have turkey. And the spice range goes from «mild enough for my mom» to «spicy enough to put me in the fetal position». The crew couldn’t be nicer and they mean what they say when they add «a lot of love» to the ingredient panel. Speaking of ingredients, I can pronounce everything on the panel!!!
Even if you’re not a jerky fan, I would strongly recommend adding Jojo’s to your list. Until they open the new retail shop, I recommend checking out the Fresh 52 when it comes through your side of town for the best selection of Jojo’s Jerky. Looking forward to the future of this great local business and watching them grow.
