All staff was incompetent I asked three sales persons for help everybody just said basically find it yourself. If it’s not on our shelves then we don’t have it !

This is a beautiful, big Joann store. I really wanted to give it 4 or 5 stars. But, here’s the negative: Had to wait a very long time to have my fabric cut. There were two employees there, but the cutting tables were being worked on. So, I waited and waited. They did not have the Butterick patterns in drawers. The Butterick drawers were stacked up on top of each other, near the cutting tables. Then, an employee went to go find the Butterick pattern I wanted and she stated the Butterick patterns were in the McCalls drawers. When she looked for the pattern, they were out of it. Fine, I found another pattern I wanted. Guess what? They were out of that, too. It took me over an hour to shop, get my fabric cut, and check out. Checking out was pretty slow, too.
But, on the positive, it’s a big, beautiful store with lots of options to choose from — as long as they’re in stock.

Of you need fabric, buttons and sewing machine this is the place. They have so many stuff too like Michaels but this is more like fabric store. They do have specials on sewing machines and coupons but sometimes it can get pricy.

I had a good experience here. I luckily haven’t had a bad one yet I read the past reviews on bad customer service that sucks I didn’t get the same treatment tho. I came early in the morning when they just opened I live 7 miles away I live near the palms, I wish they where closer to me but I went early cause I hate lines and when it gets really busy seems people are more stressed or shopping including me. Wow his store is big! I could get lost in here, I did, but luckily I found people who worked there to help me find where the stuff I wanted-​needed is. Some of the same stuff was in 2 diff parts of the store. I found a bunch of stuff, things I was thinking what’s that used for? Stuff I may need in the future but don’t think I’ll use for a while so I didn’t buy them, I got a bunch of buttons, thread for my sewing machine, rhinestones iron on ones and punch on ones, and sew on ones, I used professional glue before on my clothing but they fell out after a wash so I wash by hand now on the items I glued on, I spent almost 200 $ cause this store is so far away I wanted to stock up cause who knows when I’ll come back around here. One of the lady’s who helped me said I should download the app to get coupons and since I plan to get more into sewing my own clothing I did, then the lady at the counter helped me get another discount by texting coupons to 56 266 so I got 20% off my order on top of a 40% discount off one item I used one of the app coupons for. Saved around 50% on the order. I had a good experience I was starting to feel a little queasy-​fatigued cause I was just getting over strep throat it’s not contagious cause I was on antibiotics but all the movement and diff colors shiny objects wasn’t helping to much but I pulled myself together and finally did the shopping I have been meaning to do for a long while now.

Every time I shop at this place, the lines to check out are way long, and there’s not a staff member in sight to help direct me or answer questions about products. It always seems they are very busy and TERRIBLY understaffed. To top it off, their website is repeatedly flawed and experiencing technical difficulties (I’m talking over a series of several weeks). The class offerings, organized by store location, are never accurate and up-​to-​date, making it impossible to register for a class online. Of course, after calling the store and being put on hold in excess of 5 minutes, I am told that they will need to call me back to assist with the class registration as they are currently «too busy». I expect more from a HUGE national retailer like «JoAnn». Somebody must do something to fix these major inconveniences for customers.

Love love loved this store. For me it’s like walking into heaven. Crafts, baking, sewing all in 1 store… AMAZING!!!

Reminds me of Michael’s craft store.
Had a great short experience here. Came looking for fabric to make a curtain and success was made! Many others that I plan on coming back for when the time comes. The lady that cut the fabric worked with my boyfriend and I on how much we needed and she even let us know about the 40% off our receipt. I enjoy customer service like that, most people wouldn’t tell their customers of coupons/​deals/​etc like that.
The starting of the line was a bit confusing though. They need a sign hanging from the roof or something.

Went on Sunday 8−30−15 around 3PM to get a shadow box.
This place has the best fabric, hands down. Way better than Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. They also have a huge sewing machine section.
I downloaded the Joann’s app and there was a 30% off YOUR TOTAL PURCHASE coupon on there!!! Holy ballsacks, batman. So I ended up getting the shadow box and all of the shadow box decorating materials for original price of the shadow box. DEAL!

Why did my neice laugh when I said «this is heaven» upon entering the store? 4 stars for selection. 3 stars for pricing and the long check out line every time I come.

I frequent this location about once a month. I enjoy sewing, crafting, you name it. I can, however, see how this store can be very overwhelming for the INfrequent shopper here. So on that note, let me give YOU folks some tips…
1) If you know you will be buying fabric, start by grabbing your «deli ticket» first! That way, once you have it picked out, they’re finally ready to cut your fabric. No more waiting!
2) Know the lingo! A yard is 36 inches, so if you are thinking «feet» when you tell them how much fabric to cut, you will be taking home way to much fabric!
3) Download the free app before hand. There are always great discounts applicable on things that are not on sale. You can even get an extra discount for being a first time app coupon user. Cha-​Ching!
4) Bring a written list and don’t get side tracked. It is so easy to go in with a plan, completely forget it, and leave with stuff you won’t end up using just because it looked appealing or was on sale. Guilty!
5) Don’t be so serious! Make friends with the people in line waiting to pay. Answer the nice ladies with a smile when they ask you what you’re making. Everyone is here to enjoy their own hobbies. This isn’t the DMV, so don’t act like you were forced to come here.

Ugh I just absolutely love this store!!! Their sales and fabric selection are so amazing. With my coupon and sales I saved 30 $ on a 80 $ purchase. I got the cutest Sanrio fabric to make a no sew blanket and a basket to keep all my stuffed animals since I’m a stuffed animal hoarder. All the staff were so friendly and asked me if I needed assistance! Such a great store :) I will be back

I come here often. I love all things crafty. They usually have the latest fads as well as the newest colors, fabrics and yarns as well as home décor.
I have their app and use the coupons regularlly, they will even ensure you use all availabe coupons when you check out.
I have learned that for fabric one should come early and grab a ticket before you have picked out your fabrics or other purchases because the line for fabric cuts can be long! They do announce the numbers overhead so if you are roaming the store you can be alerted to return when your number is called.
Since both stores are on the opposite side of town, the great selection good prices and coupon use makes it worth the drive.

Never knew this place existed! Tucked waaaay in the back corner of The Best in the West shopping plaza, you can find almost anything that a Michael’s would have.
Very clean store, with very helpful workers eager to assist you with any or all of your crafty needs and requests.
Their selection of fabrics are some of the biggest and coolest I’ve seen (Star Wars!)
They were even conducting sewing classes for all ages at the time of our visit which was cool because everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves.

This is the first time I have been to this place. I heard that Jo-​Ann carries all different colours of blind cords, so here I am in need of a blind cord to replace my worn out one. I came here early on a Sunday morning and there was quite a few cars in the parking lot already. I believed there was a sewing class going on. The store is big. I didn’t know that they had such a large selection of items. But even with their large stock, I couldn’t find what I came here to look for. They didn’t have the right size or colour for my blinds. The ladies in store were very helpful though when I finally got a hold of someone. The fabric section was very busy, but because the isles are wide and the store is quite big, it didn’t look that busy inside.

If you are going here to get fabric I recommend either going on a weekday or get a number as soon as you enter the store. Their fabric cutting counter is hella busy!
So is the checkout line! Always expect to wait. Only 1 or 2 cashiers most of the time.

I’ve been to this Jo-Ann’s a lot over the past couple months because I have a brand new sewing machine and I am learning to sew.
The store is always clean, never messy. All things are in their respective places. There is a lot of fabric to choose from, and other crafty items. Their patterns books are always out and there is table you can sit and flip through them. The drawers for the patterns are well kept and not messy.
Even on busy Sundays they have enough people cutting fabric so as to make sure your wait is not very long. And the people cutting fabric do a good job. I’ve never waited over 10 minutes to have my fabric cut.
Also, sometimes they have very good deals on fabric, so you can stock up if you are a sewer or someone who makes your own clothes, etc.
I have never had a problem shopping here and they will continue to get my business.

One star– Only because I wasn’t happy with my cashier Sathi. I’m not sure if he was just a jerk or if it’s company policy but he wouldn’t let me use my two print out coupons in two different transactions. for two items. He said it has the same code.
Well they’re from the website, thousands of people use the same coupon with the same code. I didn’t ask him to use it in the same transaction– it would’ve been two different transactions which means it would work, just as if the the person behind me was using the same printed coupon. I told him, «okay then. I’ll just come back».
WHY WHY WHY make your customer go out if their way and work for the coupon. When it results in the same discount?
While I was there I overheard three different people say «excuse me to do you work here» to customers and not employees (nowhere to be found).
I’ve had good service at this location before. Just not today. Today I was frustrated with bad senseless customer service.

Omg. This place is horrible. Long lines and unprofessional employees. How do they mange to stay open. They are horrible.
Customer service is nonexistent here.
Don’t give your money to these people. Find another fabric store.

Pretty vast selection of fabrics, and patterns. Unfortunately, the stock of the patterns is always a hit or miss.
The people that work here are lazy and rude, I only give this place stars cause it’s the only place in town to get good fabric.

Joan’s is okay for the simple fact that it’s convenient and has a great variety of fabric materials, furs, plastics and just about every costume or home item to get the project started or completed.
The pricing can be quite unreasonable though. Throughout the store you see 40−70% discount tags, which just make the store look good, because in reality the pricing after the discount is normally what the price should have started out with. Same business strategy schemes seen way too often throughout the so called world of discounts.
Now the services, can be way inconsistent. Like one day I’ll get to the cutting counter and regardless of how busy the store is, I will get a very personable lady asking me what I will be creating with my choice and then I’m offered very informative advise. But that is rare, since on more occasions I am serviced by the grumpy lady who is more annoyed by my questions than the dull scissors she is using to cut my yard of material.
I have stopped a representative from time to time to ask where I could find an item and get such an unhelp response or better yet «we don’t carry it» and then I end up finding it myself. On this special occasion I even overheard a representative talking to a bundle of material as she was putting in its place. It’s is just safer to see the comical side of things here.
Oh well, I now know I am not to expect too much for service here or great pricing, but it will do when I am not closer to a Hobby Lobby.
