Whenever I travel, I always try to find a local radio station that fits the city, contemporary alternative for PDX, rap for LA, country pop for Texas, etc. If you travel to Vegas, the perfect music station is Jelli 96.7FM. It’s like being in a nightclub but minus the 2 hour wait and $ 60 hit. They play the music in sets and then have a short commercial break, much shorter than I thought. I played this all up and down the strip. There wasn’t a bad song. Of course, it’s mostly that anthem, chanting dance music with Skrillex, Miley Psycho, or Deadmaus or whatever. Not your house and rap songs of the 90’s and 00’s which we still get in Reno clubs or equally worse dubstep ad nauseum. I literally just drove up and down the strip playing this station because I didn’t want to get out of the car and enjoyed the music so much. Even this Mexican taco commercial had the beats going on. They should seriously sell their own song. I even noticed other commercials kept a beat which I think is cool, because it’s like the music is non-stop. I usually don’t get so excited about radio stations, but I was very impressed by this station and it’s dance club music. Good Job.
