I saw the reviews on Unilocal and thought I’d give it a shot. I called and with ease was able to schedule a meeting with Brenda for two days later. This was very convenient and worked for my schedule. I showed up 10 minutes early and within minutes of checking in at the front desk, I was able to meet with Brenda. She was very personable and was able to answer my question about expense right offs in an easy to understand way. I was in and lit with 15 minutes it seemed like. I will be back again next year and will be telling everyone I know who is looking for a new place to file.

DO NOT… I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!
I went here to get my taxes done this year 2016…
And my tax prepare told me I was going to get my refund back by a certain date… NOT ONLY was she wrong but when I called to clarify… the «OWNER» so he calls himself… tells me that I’M WRONG for what his employee did… and then he HUNG UP IN MY FACE! I have NEVER been so poorly treated for something that was NOT MY FAULT. I’m super upset and worried that this man and this company have all my information and my personal address. Please save YOURSELF and go somewhere else!
That man did not care what so ever about customer service… what had gone wrong and the fact that he is dealing with people and their money! I will write a BAD review everyday if I have to… just so no one else has to go thru this!!!

Liz is very professional and I appreciate the advice that she gave me regarding my business and personal taxes. The only critique I have is that it took them a really long time to e-​file my taxes. I provided all the documents needed by February 8th, yet my taxes did not appear to be e-​filed until I called to follow up on February 19th.
I called on the 19th because I had not gotten any confirmation from iQTAXX that my taxes were e-​filed correctly and the IRS had no record of them being filed. I was put on hold for about 15 minutes and then was told my taxes had been e-​filed at that time because the IRS had not accepted them previously. I would have liked to have been notified if there was a problem and would recommend that the business let their customers know in that event. Fortunately I did receive my refund from the IRS within two weeks so I’m happy now!

My bf and I went to do our taxes here as we were recommended by many friends and we loved it! Liz took amazing care of us and actually made the entire process fun, everyone knows how dreadful doing your taxes can be. Anyway liz was amazing and has great customer service! Lizeth at IQ TAXX is absolutely amazing! She makes it so easy to correspond with her via email during my busy work week. My appointment was so quick and painless as well. I love that she not only prepares my taxes for me, but also walks me through everything to make sure I finally understand what she is doing. In just one session with her, I feel like I learned more about taxes than I have ever known. So helpful! The rest of the staff at the office is so friendly and helpful too!

OMG OMG OMG. I had my taxes done by Brenda Mejorado, and I am still mind blown by how amazing she is. Her customer service, efficiency, professionalism and ability to get the job done are outta this world!
I usually do my own taxes every year, but I decided to go a different route this year since my tax situation changed (self employed) and there was alot of new things I didn’t understand. Not only did Brenda explain what she could for me, but she ACTUALLY followed through and was able to get me my maximum refund!
I honestly and truly couldn’t be more pleased! !! I highly recommend BRENDA MEJORADO.

If you’re anything like my husband and I and are looking for a new place to get your taxes done, then I highly recommend IQTAXX! We were helped out by Brenda, who quickly after our introduction gained my confidence. She was very thorough, answered all my questions, and was very honest about everything that was being processed. She recommended things that would help us out in the long run as far as filing jointly (being that my husband and I got married last year).
My husband and I were very pleased with the quality of service that Brenda provided!

For being 21, I’ve never actually done my own taxes. Usually I have my mother do them, but trying to be an adult, I figured I’d do my own this year. I tagged along with my cousin to her appointment, after hearing her and her boyfriend continuously compliment their tax lady. And after going here, I can definitely see why. Not only does Liz do her best with getting you the most refund back possible, she is also very personable and I enjoyed her enthusiam. After this, I will be sure to make my own appointments with her in the future and recommend her to all of my friends. (Make sure you do too because you wont have to pay if you recommend 3 people)
The only reason I knocked a star off was because instead of offering to route my banking information, I am now waiting on a check… I forgot to ask, but I feel like it is a common form of payment and she shouldve mentioned it or something.

People like Lizeth are priceless! She’s the kind of person that becomes invaluable in your life. I can honestly say that even when I move from Las Vegas, I will continue to fly back to IQTAXX for Lizeth every tax season.
I started going to IQTAXX when I was filing a simple 1040. I had run the numbers through Turbo Tax at home and owed quite a bit of money because I was in arrears as a server. I came in and met Lizeth and she ended up cutting the amount I owed in half. I hadn’t known about most of the write offs I qualified for– from the purchase of a new car through attending community college while employed. Since then, I’ve become a business owner with Lizeth’s help. She helped me get my LLC and my taxes have only become more complicated but she handles everything effortlessly. Well, probably with a lot of effort on her part, but her patience is endless! All of my appointments have been met in a very timely manner.
She’s given me incredible advice and suggestions for growing my business, and her enthusiasm for her work is infectious. I’ve referred a lot of friends to her now and she’s able to help every kind of situation whether you’re an exotic entertainer in Vegas trying to stay on top of your taxes, an independent contractor, or a business owner.

I was highly disappointed with our appointment.
We sat down and I provided my paperwork which was a lot. We had donation receipts, other income, W2s, student loans, etc. I also had a list of bank statements that were itemized for other write offs. We spent a lot of money last year and also bought a home so I was anticipating to itemize some deductions.
The employee put in our documents in about 10 – 15 min. I think she asked me 5 times if I had any cash donations, which I did not. She never asked me about any other deductions. She then said we owed around $ 5000.00 for taxes. I have never paid this much in my life and considering we had bought a home I was not expecting this.
I advised this was not acceptable and she had her manager come over and review what she had put in her system. The manager found one other small tax deduction for the home in the amount of about $ 200 and said everything was good to submit. I advised I would need to go through my documents and figure out if we had any other deductions because the amount was completely unreasonable. So, we left.
I went home and that night, I went through Turbo Tax and sure enough found a TON of other deductions that were never even asked. These were deductions which were substantiated with receipts. So, I decided I would give The employee a chance to fix the return and called the next day. I was told The employee was with a client and that she would call me back. Did I ever get a call back. NO. I did not.
I ended up taking all my information and deductions I found to Jackson Hewitt and They helped me file my return. It took around 4 hours, YES. .we have a lot tax items. I would never expect it to take 15 minutes. She got the money we owed down to $ 900.

Really, this is a prefect example of when a 4.5 rating is a perfect fit for a business.
For the first time since turning 18, I had to have someone else do my taxes. This year brought on several things I was unfamiliar with, as far as how to file correctly.
Pros–
— These people are so friendly. Not your stereotypical cold, stuffy suits at all! Everyone from reception to the tax preparers were very genial and approachable. Spartak was the representative who assisted me and he was great!
— If there are any questions or concerns at all, they have a whole team of professionals with varying strengths that all work together to get the right information. I had questions regarding gift taxes and when Spartak wanted to make sure his information was corrected, all he had to do was IM someone on his desktop and someone was at the desk in a jiffy! Great communication between everyone in their office!
— They made a scan of all related forms/​paperwork to my return and they keep it on file in the event that you should have any questions. They also neatly package your copies in a snazzy little folder for your own personal records.
Cons–
— I had to wait for about a full hour after my appointed time… and I got there 15 minutes early. Ugh. After waiting 45 – 50 minutes, Spartak did come out, apologize for the wait, and said he’d be ready in 2 minutes… but then it was another 15 – 20 minutes till I saw him again! lol
— If you want to have your preparation fee taken out of your refund, it is a $ 40 fee. I opted to just pay outright for my fee that day.
From the information I gathered, they charge anywhere from $ 29-​$ 169 for their services. With all the things involved in my return I was in the $ 169 club, but I still feel it was well worth it.
I’m guessing the $ 29 fee is for a simple 1040EZ form. I’m shocked anybody would feel the need to pay to have someone fill out that simple 1 page form for them. I think I could tape a pen to my chihuahua’s paw and he could manage to complete a 1040 EZ… but I digress.
I referred a friend to them and he went in several days later. His return was a lot less «involved» than mine, so he only paid $ 119. So apparently there is some sort of pricing «scale»…
Overall, this is a great service run by friendly and highly competent reps. I definitely give it a big olé’ thumbs up!
