Place is pretty dirty and run down. Food is just okay. Went for dinner and order the usual, salt and pepper pork chop, beef chow fun, steam flounder, stir fried clam with basil. Probably just going to be a one time deal for us there’s better place in town.

What else can I say but the food here is DAMNGOOD. Super authentic and great tasting. We had the Sweet Sour Pork, Salt & Pepper Chicken, Chow Fun, and Cake Noodle. Each dish as they came out were immediately attacked! Lastly, I’m not sure what it is about Chinese Tea(from a Chinese restaurant)

Finally, I found a Chinese restaurant that I love! It was 7:30ish at night, I was tired from work and did not want to cook. I figured I wanted to eat rice, so I opted for Chinese food. This restaurant was referred by my Chinese patient(it had to be good, right?). I ordered yang zhou fried rice and salt and pepper pork chops. I did not even mind the service because I was here for their food. My order came quick. I ate about half of my rice, it was that good and I was that hungry! I also enjoyed the flavors of my salt and pepper pork chops, although I think that the breading was an overkill. I am looking forward to trying out more items in their menu!!!

The razor clams in Chinese style sauce is one of the items I enjoyed most. No complaints with the service.

Enjoyed the food both times Ive been here. They have a late night happy hour menu but they wont give it to you unless you ask. Make sure you do ask, as the prices are much cheaper and portions are the same. I hate when I go out and dont remember everything I ordered. The one thing I do remember is the egg rolls were eh. Wouldn’t order those again. Oh, and I didn’t care for the spare rib pot. Otherwise, of all the things I have tried, I enjoyed most.

Service in this place is a hit or miss, sometimes they’ll be really accommodating and other times, like when the restaurant is really busy, they’ll come take your order, bring the food out, and you won’t see them again till you ask for your check lol now if you can get past that, the food is actually good. My family and I love having lunch or dinner here since its so cheap and always good. We usually get the fried flounder, the crispy house noodles, and the chicken and dried fish fried rice. I think those are all a must try in there! I’ve tried other places and sometimes it tastes too much like msg, here it doesn’t and the food isn’t greasy. I’m not quite sure what time, I think around 10pm, the price goes back to being the lunch price so it’s a great cheap spot late night as well.

I notice that everyone who have a one star was very pleased and loved the food till that one bad experience they had. Why complain about that one bad experience I get it if u had a horrible experiences every time but you didn’t. Anywho this place is actually pretty darn good and they close at 6am. I got the beef chow fun and the pork blood with leek. It was yummy!!! I’d come here again and the fact that they close late I give them a thumbs up!!! Haters gonna hate and people will always complain. Who cares!!!

Came here with a party of 12 for grandma’s 88th birthday celebration. We ordered 12 dishes(see picture) and the bill was around $ 200. The food was okay. The service was immensely slow. At one point the buser came and grabbed four cups to refill with water, when he returned we asked who’s was who’s. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away, a little strange lol

My friends and I were hunting for late night food around Spring Mountain last night. The name HK Seafood Garden came to mind for some reason, so we gave it a try. As we sat down, I started to recall that the name had come up as a decent choice for late night eats in particular. The presence of the«lunch special» menus on our plates jogged my memory — this was a place where you could get cheap eats even late at night. After perusing the extensive lunch specials menu and failing to locate the one«premium» dish that I would have wanted, I settled on the cheap $ 5.50 beef chow fun, and I chose gravy vs. dry when asked. The dish looked promising, but the most impressive part ended up being the combination of the huge portion with the low price. Everything in it — beef, broad flat noodles, and bok choy — was massively underseasoned, as if it were pad see ew but without the flavor. Sure, you could add soy sauce, but it wasn’t already present at the table, and I declined to ask because the lone server was stretched and because I was planning to take the bulk of it to-go. Speaking of which, the service was understandably slow because the one guy(who can speak Vietnamese, which is a plus for this neighborhood) was working up to six tables when we were there. This may not be the late night restaurant of your dreams for that reason. However, if you have nowhere else to be, then it’s not all that bad. I did end up sprucing up my leftovers to an edible extent, but even though the portion was great, I won’t be in a hurry to come back to HF Seafood Garden. The Vietnamese restaurant next door is way better, and I’m not usually around here late at night anyway.

The food is great and it came real quick. This place just have the same problems as other Chinese restaurants. Very bad customer service. You would try to ask the waiter for something and he would tell you to hold on until he’s ready for you. We had five people with four lunch menus and one dinner menu. When asked for another lunch menu he told us to wait for someone to be done with their lunch menu. Then he sounds irritated when we’re not ready to order because the last person just got said lunch menu. They never really check up on you to see if the food is good or if you need anything. So half of our cups are empty.

I only have myself to blame. Took a suggestion from some random poker player, who said his Asian buddy from here loves this place. Now, I read the reviews and see that they had late night specials. Could’ve been a $ 25 mistake instead of a $ 50 mistake. When you run bad, you run bad. Oh well. Started off with the hot and sour soup and it was a comedy act in a bowl. Usually love soup in the middle of the night, but this one was hard to digest. Way too sour and nothing actually in the soup was appetizing whatsoever. Standard. Got my usual of salt and pepper shrimp and it was the only passable item we had there. Still, with that said, it was probably one of the weaker versions of the dish I’ve ever had. Some had bite, some were a bit soggy and overcooked. Seafood and tofu clay pot is the stuff that causes people to commit suicide. I don’t know what sauce it was drowning in, but it’s not the good kind of sauce at all. Can’t even put into words how disgusting this dish was. The owner/manager walked by near the end of the meal and asked me how everything was. I replied, «No good». He just smiled and walked away, as anybody who just got away with highway robbery should. I try not to have regrets in life, but 4am adventures like this make it really difficult.

Interesting service. Kinda rude. By the end of the meal our server said, «no rice». And took the rice from our table before we could get a response in. HAHA wtheck is that about? Are we not allowed to take our leftover rice home with us??? They interestingly served us from behind… so be prepared to get hit in the head with your plates and drinks LMFAO! The food on the other end was good; however the veggie to meat ratio isn’t worth it. They definitely skimp on that. On the plus the place is clean lol Idk. personally, I probably wouldn’t come back. Nothing to rave about.

I decided to hit this restaurant up after a late night/early morning visit to the gym. I read so many glowing reviews from other Unilocalers about their late night happy hours. I ordered the wonton noodles and an order of chicken and salted fish fried rice. What can I say, the wonton noodles were extremely skimpy on the shrimp and the fried rice was extremely heavy on the oil. So I guess if you want inexpensive Cantonese cuisine at 4 am this is what you can expect. Why the 3 stars? The service was relatively excellent given the fact it was 4 in the morning and there was only one waiter for several tables. He was efficient and pleasant too… at 4 in the morning! So although not the greatest Cantonese food, it is inexpensive, open incredibly late/early, and the service is pretty decent.

This is another place that offers late night discount menu in the Chinatown neighborhood in Vegas. They were actually tucked away inside a shady looking strip mall nearby the main Chinatown mall. The hours were almost 24⁄7 as they open quite late until 6am in the morning and opening at 11am again. After a few visits from different trips, their flavors were always a little subpar their neighbors in the area. The cuisine was mainly Cantonese style. Seafood seems fresh, but the seasoning was a bit off. The nighttime discount menu items were about the same in prices compared to other restaurants in the area that does similar promotion. Most of their dishes were on the bland side. The benchmark dish, beef chow fun was on the oily side. HK Seafood Garden can be a good place to visit if your option late at night were limited. The restaurant also caters to tour buses, which is a sign of mediocre. If you are looking for good authentic Cantonese food, then you are pretty much out of luck here.

A friend told me to check out the Chinese restaurant in China Town. You know, the one on Spring Mountain. It’s in that strip mall with the Vietnamese place – the one by the Asian Massage Parlor. The white folks I know seem to be pretty divided on whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing when the vast majority of the patrons of a restaurant order food in a language other than English. One camp argues that the food is more authentic in these establishments. The other group is downright scared. With that in mind, some of my friends would be terrified… but don’t worry… HK Seafood Garden has a welcoming staff, they serve several American friendly dishes such as Sweet and Sour Chicken, and they’ll even offer you a fork if you seem out of place. I recently came in with a group that ordered entirely in Chinese. That happens often with me these days… the best part was that one of individuals from our table took it upon themselves to walk back to the kitchen, check the cleanliness, and later returned after we ordered to let the chef know not to mess up our order. If you ask for it, they will bring out house soup for your table. HK has one of the better versions of this soup that I’ve tried. I’ve enjoyed most of what I’ve shared here a great deal. Some of my favorites include: Scallops with string beans in spicy xo sauce! Ong Choy w/Bean Curd House Special Stir Fried Thick Noodle ChaoZhou Shrimp Whole Fried Fish Dried Scallop & Mushroom w/Snow Pea Leaf The group agreed that this is one of the best places in Vegas

We have been coming here since i can remember & writing this review is reminding me of how unhealthy chinese food is but man when i want crispy noodles this is my go to place. Served with big pieces of chicken breast and chinese brocoli & deep fried noodles smothered in a gravy like sauce. Yes please ! Everything here is decent but some of my favs are … String Beans with Xo Sauce — Wok fried green beans stir fried with pieces of ginger and jalepeno in xo sauce whatever that is its bomb as f*ck ! Menu says its spicy but not IMO. Salt & pepper fish fliet — Fish tempura battered and fried garnished with crispy garlic and jalepeno. So yummy ! Sweet & Sour Pork RIbs — Smothered in a thick not runny sweet n sour sauce wok fried with pineapple, green pepper & onion . Mongolian Beef — probably my favorite mongolian beef it has almost a citrus flavor like t has lemon in the sauce Ive tried many other things but these are my favorites. Call me basic but im not ;)

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Vegas, at least so far. Open seriously late(6AM), with seriously good late night lunch specials, there’s really no reason to go elsewhere. The prices are great, and the food has ALWAYS been high quality. Things my boyfriend and I have had, that I can think of off the top of my head, Minced Salty Fish and Tofu Hot Pot, Minced Salted Fish and Eggplant Hot Pot, Mongolian Beef, Orange Beef, and Wonton Soup. All very good, with the Wonton Soup being one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Service is ok, but don’t expect it to be fast here, at least not at night when there’s only one waiter. They’re always friendly. though.

This is going to be my new late night spot!(and maybe lunch spot too!) After 10PM you can order off the lunch specials menu, which means you can choose from 69 items priced between $ 5.50 and $ 7.50! Seriously, it’s not a joke… I actually thought it was when Nelson Q first told me about it so I had to come check it out for myself. We ordered a bunch of dishes for our table full of Unilocalers, including: sweet and sour spareribs, chicken wings, sacha beef and vermicelli pot, XO spring beans, a couple of noodle dishes. All of our dishes were tasty and flavorful and I downed multiple bowls of rice along with them. The dishes are served in family style portions as you would expect with a standard Chinese restaurant, which means we had leftovers that we turned into a mix plate. Service here was mediocre, but given that it’s a traditional Chinese restaurant, you shouldn’t come here expecting great service anyways. It was late when we arrived(around 11PM) and it seemed like they were in a hurry to get us to order even though we were waiting for others to arrive. Wonder why that was because they’re open super late as far as I know… Overall the food was great and we left extremely full and happy. I will definitely be back soon.
