Established in 1986.

Started from Chicago in 1986 and has been a family operated business ever since. Starting out as a simple party DJ, HFE grew to a serious mobile DJ business in the Chicago area catering mainly to weddings and corporate events. On a leap of faith the company moved operations to Las Vegas in 2004 and has continued to grow. Today, HFE has evolved into a full fledged entertainment company providing mobile DJ and interactive MC services, Photography, uplighting, photo booths & Videography.

Had a consultation with them — went very well. When it came to sign on the dotted line, whey wanted to change the price. The DJ who I met and they sold me on they wanted more money for. If you want more time beyond the contract, it’s more money. That’s reasonable, but not $ 200/​1hr more! Other DJ’s charge $ 50-​$ 100/​1hr more. And I read the contract. IF anything happens to their equipment, no matter who’s fault it is, we are the one who are liable!!! That is ridiculous! Who signs this???
When I discussed my concerns with their office manager, they basically called me cheap and list off their list of clients with me. I don’t care who your list of clients are. If you built your company from the ground up, you built it with small contracts with each small clients, one by one, like myself. Don’t forget where you come from!
They need a better business model and need to stop robbing people. I can’t believe people sign that contract.

DJ Marc was so great! He was incredibly receptive to us and our requests, filling in the spaces with his expertise. Sometimes guests have many requests and he was careful to be reasonable with these, always meeting the bride and groom’s expectations first. The music was great, the guests didnt want to leave, we could have easily continued the party 1 – 2 hours longer. Everyone had a great time! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the communication leading up to the wedding caused me some stress, but truly everything worked out great come wedding day!

High Flyin Entertainment (HFE) is a company filled with people who are dead set on making your night the best it can be! We first discovered HFE at a corporate event. The event was huge (200 plus people) and Mike along with his team handled it perfectly. Everyone on his team was dressed for their part and had clear easy to read name tags. After seeing what his company could do at that event we were sold! As far as we were concerned the only company we were going to use for our wedding was High Flyin Entertainment!
Although our wedding was smaller then most events HFE does Mike treated us like gold. Upon meeting him we knew we were going to be in good hands. He took the time to get to know our wants and needs which put us at easy. On our wedding day he took control and kept things moving which made our special day perfect!

Darrin was phenomenal during our wedding. He played all of our requested songs and selected great music to add based on those that were requested. He even hopped on the dance floor during a song or two to teach the guests how to do certain dances :) Great DJ. Very professional and kind. Would highly recommend.

We had Mike dj our wedding and let me tell you what, he did an amazing job, better than we expected! He kept the crowd entertained, and involved. The music he played was a mixture of all genres, and all ages! If I could give 20 stars I would! He is a great dj and a great person!

I’ve used these types of services in the past and never have they matched the amazing quality of Matt Lindsay (DJ Murphy). He is a true master of his art. He was the DJ /​Emcee for our daughters wedding reception in July 2014 and it could not have been better, thanks to Matt. He is Top Notch all the way. Deciding on a wedding DJ/​emcee was difficult, we find it a really important factor in setting the mood and atmosphere to the wedding reception. My family has hired many Djs in the past & we really didn’t have one we wanted to reuse again. We found DJ Mike a year prior to our wedding when he dj’d at a friend’s wedding and kept the atmosphere fun and the dance floor packed. DJ Mike was our DJ, emcee, and our uplighting and gobo guy. Our lighting was set up perfectly when we did our first look at our reception ballroom. DJ Mike met with us two weeks prior to our event where he reviewed our music selection and timeline at length. Of course the day of the wedding not everything goes exactly as planned, even with all the chaos & last minute changes, DJ Mike remained calm and easily adjusted to my requests. He is really friend and his emcee skills made our timeline flow well. He also played our music style preferences and our dance floor was never empty. You won’t regret getting DJ Mike as your emcee/​DJ!!!

Big Mike High Flyin’ Entertainment is the real deal, the whole package, truly one of the very best DJs/​MCs one could hope to hire for a successful event.
He’s fun, funny, ridiculously high energy, yet always appropriate. He’s got all the smooth skills of a polished master of ceremonies, he reads his audience and spins the discs that make most sense to that group.
He’s got all the skills and personality necessary to get everybody up and on the dance floor.
I’ve seen Mike in action both in my professional capacity as a wedding photographer, and I’ve hired him in my personal life for the most important party in 50 years — the 50th wedding anniversary of my in-​laws which happened also to be a very large family reunion. Everybody loved the way Mike kept our family reunion moving and fun for all ages.
Professionally, he truly is one of the best, and I’ve worked with scores of Vegas DJs. Where some DJs are obnoxious and make it all about themselves, while others have no idea how to get the dance floor full, and still others are just surly and unpleasant, Mike and his hand-​picked crew have just the right balance of social skills, energy, professionalism, cool and style to insure that an event is as fun and memorable as possible.

We had DJ Murphy as our DJ for our wedding on May 24, 2014 and he was amazing. He was easy to get in touch with prior to the wedding and was also available for the rehearsal itself. After our rehearsal he sat with us for at least 30 minutes discussing our music selections and offering advice based on his years of experience doing this.
Everything went off without a hitch and every guest we’ve spoken to about the wedding since has commented on what a great job our DJ did and how he helped to make the wedding as fun as it was. Having just gone to another wedding this past weekend where the DJ was horrible compared to DJ Murphy it really made me realize how lucky we were to have such a great DJ.
I know in talking to him he is booked into the next year, but if you are looking for a truly great DJ for your even I highly recommend DJ Murphy with High Flyin’ Entertainment.

The best DJ you could ever find in Vegas! They were prompt and professional during set up and preparation prior to our event. He knows how to warm up a crowd of business people. We hired him for our company’s anniversary event and I was expecting the dance floor to be empty the whole night as everyone would be busy networking but him and his son was able to get everyone up, dancing and having fun! DJ Mike was referred to me by a friend and colleague for a charity event I had organized this last weekend with the help of Henderson Harley-​Davidson. On very short notice he agreed to DJ the event. Even though the temperature rose to over 105 degrees… and the event was outdoors, Mike kept the spirits of the group high! The guest of honor is taking a solo cross-​country bike ride to raise money for
and awareness of ALS, and when he rolled in (on a Harley, of course) Mike made him welcome right away! We had a great event thanks to all our vendors, Henderson Harley and Mike… the best DJ ever!

I have attended several events around Las Vegas. when everything is going smooth and the D.J. is awesome I have always seen the High flying entertainment logo. I finally met D.J. Mike and I see why, he was hustling around the event making sure everything was going smoothly. He was starting to perspire he was working so hard and he’s the owner. I own a business and Mike really impressed me with his work ethics and professionalism on the microphone. Prior to the wedding, we met up with Mike about twice to go over the music and he really becomes your friend. He is professional and a genuine person.
We paid more to have DJ Mike as our MC and it was worth it. During the reception, Mike had our guests participate in games and the best part was when they got on the dance floor and did the twist. The pictures were hilarious. He even got my husband’s parents to dance!
The only reason I am not giving them a perfect 5 is because of a mistake with the ceremony music. My now husband wanted an instrumental version of DaDa Life– So Young So High as the procession song of the bridal party. He muted out the lyrics and sent the file to Mike. Unfortunately the file he created was not used and the lyrics of «So Young, So High» was heard as our bridal party walked down.

Manager and DJ Mike was professional and legit. He called a few weeks before the wedding and scheduled a face to face meeting over Starbucks to make sure we were on the same page with the music.
When my wedding came and it was time for them to perform… IT WAS DYNAMIC!!! All my guest loved the music and still talk about it when the topic comes up. I highly recommend High Flyin Entertainment for all or all events for your wedding!!!

My family hired High Flyin’ Entertainment to DJ our family reunion and Mike did a fantastic job! As a former DJ myself, I couldn’t have been more impressed with Mike’s performance. What I believe that separates Mike from all of the other DJs I’ve seen is his ability to work up the crowd with a few games, reading people, and keeping the party dancing. Our event had less than a 100 people with more adults and seniors than kids, but he kept the dance floor alive after dinner until midnight appealing to a variety of music.

They were incredible! Funny story was that I had met Mike Susara prior to my wedding at a networking event, and he is also friends with one of my best friends. But I did not know him at that personal level. So years after, when I started planning my wedding, Las Vegas Bride had recommended him. I know alot of DJs who are friends, and was a bit hesitant to hire a DJ that I did not know personally, nor had I heard Mike DJ/​MC before. But I am so glad I hired High Flyin as the DJ/​Entertainment for my reception
I think alot of people forget that when you hire a DJ for a wedding reception, that they should also know how to MC and keep the crowd going and entertained. And because I am Filipino, sometimes the elders can get insulted or annoyed by the music and festivities. But Mike was just so in tuned with my guests and crowd that he was able to please both my older relatives and guests, as well the the «young crowd.»
Also, both my husband and I have a wide range of music that we like. High Flyin has a very «in-​depth» questionnaire for the music selections for the event. I was a bit stressed about it, since some items i was not sure as to what music/​song should play. SO I left it to the discretion of Mike… and he def made awesome choices! They are definitively people to trust for weddings/​receptions.
I am sure there are plenty of amazing DJs/​MCs out there… but High Flyin has my complete confidence and future recommendation!
