History

Established in 1947.

The Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® (GLVAR) the «Voice for Real Estate» in Southern Nevada is an 11,500 member trade association that has served real estate professionals since 1947. GLVAR represents professionals active in all phases of the real estate industry, including residential sales, property management, appraisal, development, auctions, and commercial sales. With over 60 years of service to its members GLVAR has become a leader in the preservation of private property rights and in issues that impact the real estate industry.

The association coverage area includes all of Clark County, the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, Mesquite plus Lincoln, White Pines, and Southern Nye Counties.

This is one great well put together organization. Every time i am they have whatever I am there for well set up and well organized.

This is where the classes are given to realtors. The large parking lot in front will be filled up when the classes are in demand, and since there are always requirements, there will be lots of busy times here. Great place for networking and a good resource overall for real estate professionals.
I came here a couple times for work purposes. When I worked for a loan officer for a number of years, I went here to pick up a complete realtor list in the Las Vegas area. It was for marketing purposes, and the list was free to members, which my boss was. Professionals at the front desk (show the boss’ business card), which made the visits smooth and very quick. I don’t think that the visits were longer than ten minutes. Then again, I don’t think that I came when there were classes or meetings being held, either.
Lots of places to eat in the surrounding vicinity (sahara/​eastern area).

GLVAR has been a great resource for Realtors through my 10 years of experience with them! Great training’s, resources and support, they are constantly fighting for Realtors politically, the provide the local MLS, and they provide plenty of events for Realtors to network and get to know each other.
Most all residential Realtors part of GLVAR, they depend on GLVAR, even if they don’t realize it, and our GLVAR is awesome compared to many other associations!
