Gerber Collision & Glass

Alright first of all, I was obligated to come here because my insurance company made it difficult for me if I went to another shop that want in their «preferred» locations. With that being said, I was supposed to be in their «express» priority fix, as a complimentary of geico. However, after waiting a week and a half (longer than the time promised) I come back to find a big chip on my side skirt, which was supposed to be fixed! My 2015 Subaru Legacy had the entire right side from passenger doors and my rear wheel damaged from an accident, and I come back on the day of pick up to find that the ignorance and poor quality of the guys out back missed a big chip on the side of the vehicle that they were supposed to fix! Okay so the guy upfront told me that they’d take care of it and to pick it up the next day. I said okay letting this small thing not a big deal. I come back the next day to pick it up and what do you know? They filled in the chip and painted it, but it was still noticeable and you can still feel it! It just goes downhill from here. Did I mention that I have white interior? Yes, so my passenger seat had two stains from a handprint from the mechanic working on my vehicle, and my tint has scratches! Talk about poor quality work. I didn’t wanna waste my time going back here to keep getting these stupid things fixed so forget it! I’m out and away, never coming back or recommending this place to anyone. Only reason why they get a star is because of Lourence who helped me out as a geico representative. The overall quality work on my vehicle shows with laziness and an uncaring attitude of another person’s property. I work in a shop myself and anytime that I service a customer’s vehicle touching the inside of their vehicle, I always remove my gloves or ensure that interior is not stained. Please evade this place. I should have listened to my gut and went with my original choice with service king.

These guys are awesome! Great work in amount of time. I had to get my rear bumper fixed because of a fender bender and the other driver’s insurance took care of it. It took a while to get the ball rolling, but that wasn’t because of Gerbers. On the first visit, the guy that handled my account took pictures of the damage for the estimate. Then when all was approved my second visit, I dropped off my car. The guy circles the damages with a green marker and circles other damages not for the accident in red. He offered to fix other dents I had for additional price. Why not? I’m already here.
Enterprise was a few steps away and I got a rental while my car was in shop, quoted me 3 days.

Ok, so I gave Gerber Collision 5 stars before because they offered me a «free» tire at no extra cost if I would take my bad review of them off Unilocal.The adjuster, Dan, seemed very genuine at the time. Boy, was I fooled! I take down my original review and replace it with a much nicer one. So, we get the car back and the rear tire is wobbling to the point where other motorists are asking us to pull over! Ok, so we take the car back (it was originally taken there due to a car accident) and we get a call from Dan. We tried to have this issue resolved but there was no point in arguing with him and his nasty tone of voice. And Dan, you were on speaker by the way. I’m glad my husband and I weren’t the only ones to witness his rudeness… I thought I was going crazy! We then picked up the car and took it elsewhere where we weren’t talked down to like idiots. I told this story to my sister and well, what do you know? She also had taken her car to Gerber Collision after an accident recently within a year. When she gets her car back it seems fine. Mind you the car is only one year old… all of a sudden her engine goes out??? I find it interesting that we are not the only customers to have a few complaints about this place. So all in all… terrible service (they use bribery, apparently), and poor work quality.

Mind. Blown. Today re-​established my faith in good ppl and good businesses. I had a lil fender bender yesterday. My bumper was dislodged and causing damage to my tires. Figuring it was gonna be a costly lil mistake, I took it into a shop by my house called GERBER COLLISION in Vegas. The estimator named Daniel Nusbaum took a look at it. Without hesitation he said he wanted to take it back in the shop and see if they can reset it, and there won’t be any charge. 5mins later they pulled it around, gave me a smile and said I’m good to go and don’t worry about paying for anything. Wow! They have a new customer in me for life along w referring ppl I know.

Honestly… I’m really upset. I came here after a drunk driver hit my car. It was going through his insurance and this was the auto shop that they go through. So I brought it in for the estimate, they were really nice and the whole process was smooth. Once I took my car in they had it repaired and returned to me within three days. But when I got there, no one came out and walked me through what they did, like all the other shops have. They just handed me the keys and said «have a nice day». I walked around my car and checked it. Once I got in my car, whoever was working on it had my a/​c blasted all the way up. I get that it’s hot but they’re not the ones paying for the gas in it. But I didn’t bother with it and pulled out onto the road and turned on my signal to switch lanes and realized that they busted my light for my signal. I turned around right away and brought it back. They fixed it and all was well. By then sun was already pretty much down so when I saw my car again it looked fine. But when I got in my car in the morning to go to work I noticed a whole bunch of tiny chips in my windshield. All over. Keep in mind I’m super picky about any nicks or anything on my car, I notice anything wrong with it. So knowing that when I took it in those were not their and now they’re all over made me extremely angry. When I got to work I looked at the front again and there were a ton of little chips in the paint on my hood as well. How the heck did they fix it but yet cause more damage? I’m extremely upset with the condition my car was returned to me in. I only came here because it was the one that the insurance goes through (I’m aware I can choose which one I want to go to, but I was hoping that since it was going through the insurance it would be somewhat more reliable than this).

Service is ok however one lady I came to talk to at the front second time was really rude. If you are at the front and you are talking to customers you shouldn’t be the one making the rude face and it really offended me. I am not a person who gets offended easily but the this lady… I think her name is Melissa.

I was so scared to come here because of all the bad reviews but I had a really good experience at this place. Not only did my car look brand new, but the people I dealt with were extremely professional and nice. The only bad experience was with the receptionists. They were pretty rude and unwelcoming.

They are Very professional and friendly. Explain very little detail they need to do. Highly recommended, thank you guys!

Awful experience! Paid for parts and repairs, got it back a week later and the new bumper was still positioned wrong which is why I was replacing it in the first place! They said I had to pay more for additional parts. Paid more, got it back, and it still looked bad. Put it back in the shop a 3^rd time before finally getting fixed. Don’t go here!

I’ve been here a couple of times and their service is great. I’ve even gone to them for a minor issue and they fixed it quickly and for a very minimal cost. They are professional and friendly as well. I highly recommend these guys.

This has got to tell you something about this place since this story sounds like many on here. I also was hit by a Geico insured driver and they told me to come here for my repair and when I picked up my car it was pretty dirty because of the shop dust I guess it would have been nice if they washed it off but I assumed everything else would be done right since they have a warranty and stand behind their work and I would look at it closer later when I got home since I was late for work. I noticed the car had a really bad smell of paint or something to the point that I thought they spilled something in my car. That evening when I got home I noticed the paint job on the entire passenger side that they fixed and painted didn’t match the rest of the car’s original color of the bumper, hood, trunk or roof, and they didn’t paint the trim along the bottom saying they couldn’t match it and they weren’t doing it and for me to get a can of paint and do it myself, Really? The car is a 2013 so the excuse of the paint faded that’s why it doesn’t match isn’t a excuse. They apparently «forgot» to put some parts back on, and the panels didn’t align very well. I took it in the next day and after 2 people looked at it, the 3^rd person said yes the colors don’t match and they were supposed to blend the paint in which they didn’t do and yes they forgot to put the parts back in and they will also align everything. So I dropped it off on Monday and was told it would be a couple of days and they said they would take care of the rental from enterprise which I thought was nice of them. The rental car smelled really smokey, btw. On Thursday not hearing from them for the entire time and thinking they probably got busy and wouldn’t be done until Monday I drove out of state to work which I normally do. Well they called the next morning on Friday and said the car was ready and to pick it up and if I didn’t I would be charged for the car rental. Really? how can anyone expect someone to drop everything with a same day notice to do that? I called and left a message saying I was out of state and couldn’t come in that day so I drove back Saturday but of course they were closed. I picked my car up on Monday and they never said anything so I assumed everything was fine, the car isn’t done right yet but I will not go back there a third time I will be going elsewhere. It gets better, enterprise then calls and tells me they are charging me the rental since gerber won’t pay it so I called gerber and again explained it to them but they pretty much tell me someone will call me back which of course they didn’t. Same story again from another customer my advise don’t go there.

Gerber did a great job on my car. Looks like new again. Thank you. Service in the office was a bit slow. Employees had children with them and were struggling to deal with other irate customers. When I dropped my car off at the posted 7:30 am open time, there was no one in the office and I had to wait for the office staff to arrive after having «visiting» time within hearing of the customers waiting in the lobby.
Office staff’s timeliness and customer service needs a bit of attention. Other than that all went well. Thank you

I was recently in a small finder binder so I took my car here to get fixed, not only did they make my car look brand new they also detailed my car (which was a big surprise to me). George from Geico also did a wonderful job with keeping me updated on the status of my car as well as making sure I knew all the details of what was going to happen the next few days as they were fixing my car. These people is alright in my books!

Obviously the sort of place no one wants to visit unless they have to it was only after a young lady ignoring the rules of the road as she argued with her boyfriend decided to destroy my bumper that I met the folks at Gerber and although the phone staff could use a few lessons in terms of insurance protocols I’d be hard pressed to find any fault in the quality of service after I finally got scheduled; the in-​house team replacing the rear end within 48 hours and assisting me in setting up a rental car without even the slightest delay. Efficient and friendly, a best of a bad situation sorta thing, I have to say that I generally hope to never have to deal with the team at Gerber again but taking into consideration the way folks around Las Vegas drive I’ll certainly not rule out a return visit should that need arise.

This place is ridiculous! Cisco, on the phone, instructed us not to go to one location we must go to this one. Well, upon arrival, come to find out we were supposed to go the collision place on the OTHER FUCKING SiDE OF TOWN! So now we’re late and pissed. Umm, customer service? Where the hell did that silly concept hide? All they had to do is say, «hey, we’re all the same branch, let me get one of our appraisers on it since you’re already here.» But no. Rather we get a hypothetical fuck you go to opposite side of town after tricking 30 minutes to get here. Never again!

I had my car repaired there a year ago. I had to bring it back three times. Then Gerber actually paid another shop to repair my car properly. That was after I filed complaints to the BBB and with Geico. By the way. The on site Geico rep at the shop does not care how the repairs are done. He probably gets a kickback from the shop.
They could not align my rear bumper properly. They could not install the spoiler flush on the trunk. They painted the deck lid (trunk) and then sat it on the floor while it was drying. The paint was chipped all around the edges. The manager actually told me that everyone else would take the car the way it was. He thought I was nit picking.
The reason I am writing this review a year latter is because I was looking at my drivers side quarter panel yesterday with the a guy from another body shop, he showed me what a poor paint job they did at Gerber when they blended the paint together. You can’t really notice it unless someone points it out to you, but that is not the point. It was not blended properly and it looks terrible. The warranty from them doesn’t matter, because I would never let them touch my car again. Do not go here.

What a joke of a repair shop. I had to send my car back to them 3 times after they said it was fixed, and the repairs are STILL not complete.
My car was rear-​ended and pushed into another car, had major front end and some rear damage. The car spent a over a month in the shop. I picked it up, and it overheated after 10 minutes on the drive home. So they took it back in.
Then they gave me the car back, and I realized they hadn’t even fixed the rear damage, just the front! They hadn’t even included the rear damage included in the estimate! I took it back in.
Got the car back again, and they had just put a bumper cover on the rear, but didn’t fix the obvious damage behind it. I had to involve my insurance company’s shop supervisor at this point. This was either gross incompetence or they’re just crooks.
Now I’ve discovered that my A/​C wasn’t fixed, and I have to have another shop do the repairs.
Save yourself the nightmare of dealing with these idiots.

I had an appointment at 11:30, I was on time and I’m still waiting! If your time is valuable dont waste it here. Also while waiting I observed a few other clients complain how they overlooked a few details on their car. Wtf is the point of making appointments if they’re not going keep them or at least give me a heads up and let me know they’re backed up! I hate when people waste my time!

My insurance company sent me here after someone hit the back bumper of my car. I received prompt service with my estimate for damages. It was looking like my car’s damage wasn’t too bad, but I just wanted to have a mechanic check it out just in case. The bumper was a plastic bumper and knocked out of alignment, and they patched it up for me within minutes and for a much lower than I anticipated cost! I can’t speak for the quality of their repairs for more extensive damage, but I can say that I was really blown away by their honesty and comittment to fixing cars and making customers happy. I’ll certainly trust this place if I ever need them again.
