I tried to call the FedEx office from the Sands Expo exhibit hall for 20 minutes before someone answered, who said he had to transfer me to someone else to schedule our pickup down the hall in the conference center. Chris said we would have to wait 20 minutes before pickup, but never showed up or called back. Too bad FedEx can’t call on the Venetian or Palazzo hotel bell desk for help, even though they tell customers that they are forced to charge outrageous fees to receive our packages because the Venetian requires the huge fees. I had to move our 250 pounds of materials to the FedEx office myself, maybe a ¼ mile, where I waited for about 15 minutes for just 2 customers in front of me. We had to pay $ 310 for the FedEx office to receive our five packages and check them back in for FedEx ground to deliver them back to us. The FedEx delivery charge to ship the boxes from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and back was $ 226, while the cost to receive them at FedEx office was $ 310. David who checked in my prelabeled packages and spent the time to weigh everything so they could collect their fees, said they won’t waive any fees, no matter how bad their service is. He said the FedEx handling fees which are more expensive than at any other hotel were mandated by the Venetian/​Palazzo. When I left, there was a long line behind me. We didn’t miss our flight, but spending 1 hour 15 minutes to drop off 5 prelabeled packages made wife anxious about missing flight and furious at me for using FedEx.
A few days later, Jonathan, the manager, offered a $ 50 discount on the $ 130 return handling fee due to the horrible service, extra hour waiting, near missed flight, and having to move the boxes myself.

Full service business center with exceptional customer service! Computer usage is available for $ 0.65/minute, faxes at $ 2.00/page. We needed to scan and send some documents, and the gentleman who assisted us was extremely helpful. There are work stations, copy machine for both black and white or color options, printers, and FedEx mail center. It is located within the convention space next to the buffet.
