Falling Water Apartments

When I moved in I was skeptical about the place because of all the bad reviews it had but my experience here has been great. The place is quiet, grounds are clean, my apartment is nice, it has easy freeway access, zoned for a good school, honestly I’m happy here! Only downer for me has been that the gym equipment is very limited so I signed up for 24 hour fitness across the bridge instead and the locks at the clubhouse are hard to open.

We moved into Falling Water Apts in mid April of 2015 and had signed a 5 ½ month lease because we were being transferred to southern CA. At the end of Sept, we called the manager to schedule a walk-​through to insure them that the apt was clean and taken care of, to which they scheduled it on Sept 29^th. They did the walk-​through and the apt was very clean. Not once in the 5 ½ months did management tell us we had to write a written letter stating we were vacating in 30 days. One month after our move we received a letter from a collection agency stating we owed $ 1,450 because we didn’t give a 30 day notice. On the contract it said we were to be out 5 ½ months, but in the very fine print, it said a 30 day must be given! Come on! The problem sometimes with contracts is that we don’t always read the fine print. In knowing that we were moving out late Sept, management should have in some way notified us that a 30 day must be given. I spoke to Falling Water management about this, she said this isn’t the first time this has happened. Are you kidding me?! So, we had to pay $ 1,450 for the month of Oct even though we were now living in CA. BAD BUSINESS!!!

Great staff here. Love Danielle and Oksana in the leasing office. Manintenence requests are always promptly completed, usually within the same day.
I’ve never lived anywhere that actually shows appreciation to their residents. Here at Falling Waters, there is a monthly «Resident Appreciation» which is in the clubhouse and they get food catered for all of the residents. Nothing major, but it’s definitely a kind gesture from the Owner and Management. It makes it fun to get to know other residents and the staff here.

I have lived here for 2 ½ months. The maintenance is really good. But…
Since we moved in here there has been many many break-​ins. My family and I does not feel safe here. We have requested security, but the will not hire a security company. This past week the apartment below us was broken into. There is either someone that lives here or someone is watching peoples movements. We will go speak with management again to see if they will hire security that is on foot.
One star only because it is just not safe.
