One of the worst care facilities I’ve been to in my life. Only place worse was in western China where my doctor, with his lit cigarette resting on an ashtray on his desk and a line of patients all sat inside his office, all listened while I explained my symptoms and he touched and examined my eye with a glove-​less hand. At least the Chinese doctor was actually friendly. The receptionist and check-​out ladies are pretty cold; I can read in their medusa-​like expressions that they want to quit their day jobs and do something wild, free and fun. I actually feel sad for them — sad for anyone who has to treat people like poop even after the patient smiles and greets them. I could have cancer for all they know or die in one week (which after reading this, they will probably wish upon me). I really hope they don’t treat super sick patients like this (I’m healthier so can deal with being treated like crap). Their phlebotomist was actually really nice but she had no idea what she was doing and it was the most painful blood draw of my life. I actually yelled and asked her to take the needle out… she stuck me in my muscle. That was a first as I give blood and I’m not afraid of needles. I’ve had some botched blood draws but this was very painful. I just looked now and there is no scar thankfully. Still, she was the nicest one in there. The whole procedure took so long though because someone mispelled my name. It became a whole process on searching for the lab orders and then even after that, they were not corrected. Dr. Wolfson himself is very unfriendly and I can only describe the interaction as awkward and useless. Not sure why anyone would work in a profession if they seem to hate people. This is one of those factory model clinics. They want you in and out as soon as possible. The other reviews are no joke and I wish I had seen them prior. Unilocal has steered me wrong a couple times and I’m sure everyone will have their own experiences. I consider myself a respectful, well-​raised individual; happy in life. The people who work here are blatantly not or have not been raised with decency to treat others with kindness. For that, I mostly pity them because I have a choice to never come back here again.

They rescheduled my appointment even if I was 15 minutes early. What a joke! And the staff is rude. Will not be going back at all! And also when you call their office, the receptionist sounds so annoyed and peeved. It’s like the DMV of clinics. lol!

I have used this MD several times, thinking everyone makes mistakes, maybe it’s an off day but noooooo… Everything from appointments scheduled at one office but he’s at the other office, twice, forgetting to put his DEA number on a script, pre auths left undone for weeks even past the date of your next appointment and new script both needing pre auths done. I finally paid 700.00 out of pocket to have a script filled having been told when the pre auth is done I will get a refund, sadly I am still waiting for both to be done a month later. Also, no way to get in touch with him in an emergency, you are told to go to the ER, sucks if it’s Friday you either suffer until Monday or endure the ER for 6 hours.

i have been going dr. wolfson for many years now. i have been at all his locations, which includes his newest one on las vegas blvd & charleston. dr. heidi baker (box canyon location) is my ob/​gyn. lets not forget the nurses at each location. very very fast paced, hifh stressed job at times. rokea (office manager) and angie have always had to call my insurance & pre authorize my meds. as of lately my insurance has been taking up to 10 days to authorize my meds. i could have seizures etc. & i really want to thank all of the hard working staff. they have probably had to spend more time on 1 patient than its worth (monetary). as for the docs, dr. wolfson is just patient, he listens and im comfortable. dr. heidi baker received radiology report on me and she called 1^st thing monday with a plan. thank you all! from my family to yours!

This guy shouldn’t be allowed to use the title «doctor.» He’s a high volume shopkeeper running a practice that’s more like a bad Walmart than a professional medical practice. I’ve used this office only because of the excellent and professional service of Heidi Baker, but even that can’t counter the rude, uncaring staff, and general lack of professionalism that pervades every part of this operation. Sadly, as of today I’m looking for someone new. If you insist on going here, demand to see Heidi Baker… or anyone other than Woflson himself. He’s clearly too busy controlling labor costs by hiring ill-​kempt nitwits, and grinding every penny out of his business than he is concerned with the well-​being or dignity of his patients.

I used to like Dr. Wolfson (although I never thought much of his intellect.) He had a sweet disposition, but that has deteriorated over the years. His staff has always been lousy though. He only hires Hispanics, thereby catering to the undocumented immigrants. On one occasion, there were 2 very young Hispanic children running around the clinic with seemingly free rein of the place. One of them nearly collided with me as she raced down the hallway. I commented to a nurse and she informed me that they were a staff member’s kids. Allowing children in the workplace is very unprofessional for any business, particularly a medical clinic. Whatever the extenuating circumstance was for those kids to be there, at least they could have been kept out of sight/​trouble in a back room. I don’t know how often this happens but I doubt it was an isolated incident.
Also, the wait time is usually 30 – 40 minutes even with an appointment. Another grievance is not being able to get lab results over the phone. I usually had to make another appointment just to get my results. The final straw was when Dr. Wolfson misdiagnosed a medical problem. I went to a specialist for a second opinion and he correctly diagnosed me in a split second. My issue turned out to be a rather simple matter after all. I’m very disgruntled that Wolfson was not able to surmise it himself. Frankly, I now consider him a stupid quack that runs a chain of ghetto clinics.
I will never return there. I would go out-​of-​state first. Luckily, I found a new doctor/​clinic that is much better. I suggest you shop around too. Or you could visit Dr. Dipak Desai in prison and get about the same level of care.

I have never posted a review before. I felt the need to warn people about this Dr. Office. Dr. Wolfson is uncaring and nonchalant. Sure the wait times are short and they can get you in right away but thAt is because they spend no time with you. They rush you in, misdiagnose you and throw medication at the problem. Tons and tons of medication. The staff is rude and never have the right information. Heidi Baker is a nurse practitioner not a doctor and should not be allowed to diagnose anyone. Do not waste your time visiting this office.

I left the doctors office because of the staff, they are ignorant and rude. My husband however stayed and has been a patient for at least 8 years. He was misdiagnosed by Heidi Baker telling him he was diabetic and had high cholesterol, she pumped him full of medication that almost killed him. He followed up with Dr. Wolfson who told him he didn’t have either. We went to the ER to find he has to have his gal bladder removed so I called the office today and asked for a surgeon’s name, the office staff said you have to make an appointment and pay for an office visit to get a name. I HATE this office and everything about it. I swear the staff didn’t complete any schooling they ordered they degree from Sears mail order catalog. Ignorant, Ignorant, Ignorant.

First time seeing a doctor since moving to Vegas. First, the office is kind of run down and kind of old school. Next, the staff was incredibly rude, cold, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. No smiles, no laughs, I even tried to crack a joke and the assistant showed zero emotion. I met with Dr. Wolfson, and granted, my issue was very minor, I only saw him for 5 minutes after waiting 1.5 hours. He was nice, but it felt like he didn’t care, he seemed checked out. I tried to ask him a simple medical question, and he said he didn’t know. Okkaayy, thanks, Doc!
I give it two stars because they have a pharmacy there, which was really convenient. But not convenient enough for me to return. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I’ve lived in LV for 3 years now. I’ve been to 4 doctors so far, and I can honestly say there wasn’t a decent one among them. I did start going to Dr. Wolfson when I first arrived here, but was concerned that he wasn’t an MD, but rather a DO. After 4 different attempts with other physicians, I returned to his office yesterday. One thing I should add is that I called the office, and was able to be seen right away. This is not the case when dealing with other doctors in LV. They are all princes and princesses who close their offices midday and tell you to «call tomorrow for an appointment». I must say, his office is more a medical practice than all the other doctors’ offices I have been to in LV. The doctor, himself, was not present at that particular office yesterday, so I saw his PA, Cathaline Pearson. What a delight. She was right to the point, handling my situation as soon as she entered the room. There was no problem trying to explain my situation. She checked my chart from my previous visits of 2011. She was sharp, direct, and obviously, a great problem solver. I was even able to purchase my medications right there in the office. Suffice to say, I was better by the next morning. That was never the case with other doctors out here. As far as staff goes, yes, they can be a bit standoffish, but once you get to know them, you will understand that it is just all business and no time for playing. I recommend this doctor and his staff.

Been going there for years. If you can find someone else I say go there, horrible office staff no one gets back to you on tests results. Will hope to find someone new in 2012. Waiting time is terrible usually an hour and half no matter what time I get there. Looking for someone on the southwest

They charged for services not performed and didn’t notify me of abnormal labs. I only found out after requesting a copy of my records. Horrifying. Negligent care. Do not go here!
