History

Established in 2007.

Ellenwood Movers is a unique Company being that it is owned by a Women. Sherry Hoyt founded Ellenwood Movers along with her husband Brian in 2007. They signed up with Uhaul’s «Emove» site and so it began.

Contrary to what you may think, the name Ellenwood is actually named after a city in Georgia, where Sherry’s grandparents lived. She thought it would be somewhat of a tribute to them since they gave so much of themselves to others while they were alive, they deserved to be remembered.

Brian is actually the backbone of the Company, along with our son Brent and the awesome group of people that work with us. Brian carries the load in the field and ensures the customers receive the service they deserve. Customer service is the key to success, and that is our main focus here at Ellenwood Movers.
