Horrible horrible Horrible service. Took longer than expected to receive my items. When everything finally arrived boxes were all torn up & broken even though they re taped everything I had already taped before loading just to charge me more. The estimate was way off from what they charged me in the end. Had multiple conversations with the «manager» and to say the least he was very rude & unhelpful. He was supposed to have been reviewing the tapes from conversations we had but never did.
I suggest that if you are looking for a moving company DO NOT go with Elite Movers unless you want to deal with rude customer service, final pay to be way more than the estimate, no official delivery date, a whole bunch of added on extra charges & your things to be in worse condition than what they were when you packed them.
In the end my mattress was torn, broken glasses, ruined bookcase, completely damaged wet bar & boxes completely torn apart.
Only good part of this whole experience was the delivery team. He was very helpful & nice. Made sure we wrote everything down that was broken & insisted that we make sure we filed a claim.

This is the absolute worse company I ever had the dissatisfaction to work with. The most accommodating until they get you. My estimate tripled!!! And am still waiting for my goods since December 22. They don’t answer the phone unless you pretend to be new customer. Then they say they have no communication with delivery!!! Omg!!! It’s been a month and nothing!!! I suggest everyone to run don’t walk and don’t listen to any bull they tell you. It is all lies!!!

I wish I could say something that hasn’t been said but this company is the worst. Like others, my wife and I looked at the BBB reviews and they were better than most. We even looked at the Unilocal reviews and for our needs no company was better or worse so we went on middle ground in regards to price.
To some it up, here is the letter I sent to them (with no response). I cannot recommend Elite movers in any way shape or form.

Thank you for taking the time to read this mail and I wish it was with better news about your business. Throughout the process of picking a mover, dealing with logistics, pick-​up delivery date changes your company was good and at times great. Unfortunately upon delivery of our items it seems as if you almost had something against us in the way things were damaged, broken, bent and generally mishandled.
In the claim we will be filing we will detail all the things that need to replaced but please reference these highlights
— 1 bike is rendered unusable as not only a bolted on basket was broken off but the frame is bent (this was my only form of transportation)
— 1 bike is scratched dinged dented (other synonyms for beat up) to a point that the repairs with be as much as the bike
— Vintage table leg broken off
— Two shelves — bullet hole???
— Every wine glass, plate and vase
— 5 barstools bent, broken and unusable (also, we work from home and those are our chairs we use to work from)
Please know that there is so very much more but gmail puts a limit on the amount of pictures I can send (but see some for reference). It was to the point that the delivery driver, completely embarrassed, had to hand me a handful of under garments and adult toys that had fallen out of a box whilst apologizing profusely.
Because of your 1.5 stars on Unilocal I expect very little from you.
Yes, you will have another 1 star review from us. Yes, we will file a claim at $ 0.60 per pound. Yes the BBB will be contacted.
I just hope you know the following:
— Someone in your company destroyed our „things“ and decided to put them on a truck
— Some of those „things“ have deep sentimental meaning that will never come back
— You had one job that you failed to do
— You charged $ 2000 and will probably pay out less than $ 100 (great business model… I applaud you)
— You had literally one job that you got paid for (if I did my job the way you did I would be fired)
— Seriously, what impact is so great that it can go THROUGH two shelves (let’s be honest and say that some things fell off a truck)!!!
— None of this will matter because you are a faceless, blameless company that won’t budge or care
— Peoples „things“ are important to them… we all have things that mean something to us (pictures of relatives who have passed, a pot (now broken) from a parents home country passed down for generations, a drawing ones son did at three and makes you tear up every time you see it. Your carelessness took all of those away and more.
— One should not expect to file a claim but rather only do it at a worse case scenario
I truly wanted to be one of the people who could say that I was happy with your service, but as you can see I cannot. Please feel free to contact me at any time. The Unilocal review will be fair and honest, the BBB filing will be the same, fair and true (again, many parts of your service was great). The claim will be filed, but I have a question for you… if you experienced this level of damage in your personal life, what would you want to happen? Notice, I have not asked for anything, I’m just wondering, as a business, what do you see as fair?

***** I initially booked this company because of their 4 star rating on the BBB. First of all, they are NOT BBB accredited– just because they have a rating with the BBB does not mean that they are backed by the BBB. Shame on me for only looking at their BBB rating, and not their Unilocal rating (which is far more accurate) of 1.4 stars.*****
This review will not discuss moving quotes vs. actual cost. Instead, I will be discuss the handling of my items during the move and thereafter:
In short, Elite managed to lose an 8 foot peice of furniture (a buffet table). Prior to the move, I did not remove any of its contents at the prompting of Elite Moving. The movers said that it would be easier to keep the items in the buffet table as long as the added weight did not exceed xx amount of pounds.
So, the item was missing upon delivery, and contained many valuable and irreplaceable items (such as my wedding video, my newborn baby clothes, scrap books and photographs), and I have spent the last 5 months (no joke) calling their office trying to locate it. I have gone through 4 different customer service contacts during this time– why? Because all of my contacts have left the company. Each time I call and ask to speak with my contact, they hand me over to a new person because so and so «has left the company» or «is no longer working here.»
After three months of calling, I was FINALLY able to get in touch with Roy Erhardt, the director of operations who was less than helpful, snarky, and rude.
And after months of calling their office, attempting to locate my lost item, and receiving absolutely no new (or helpful) information, I filed a lost item claim with Anthem Claim Management. To no surprise, Elite Moving has refused to provide the claim’s company with the documents needed to process my claim. So, here I am, with a missing item claim that cannot be processed because Elite refuses to provide them with the necessary documents. Why? I can only guess that by refusing to provide the necessary documents, they can insure that my claim will be denied. And they won’t have to pay (or deal with) my missing item.
Please, I am warning you, DO NOT use Elite Moving & Storage based in Las Vegas. There is no one holding them accountable, and as such, they will deal with you (and your items) however they wish.

Was quoted $ 962 for 4 boxes, a queen size bed, a tool box, 2 50 inch TVs and a cat tree.
They were supposed to pick up our stuff on the 29^th, but their truck broke down. Annoying, but I understand sh*t happens. Rescheduled for the 30^th (yesterday).
Yesterday they called around noon saying they had a ‘big job’ that day and may not make it. They then called around 4 pm to say they were down the street.
Driver was not the brightest crayon in the box. I told him to park in front and he still came inside the apartment community. He finally parked and then came inside to examine the items that needed to be loaded — exactly as I told the sales rep when I got my quote MINUS the cat tree. He then said these items won’t fit in the space we were quoted and it was going to be another $ 1400, plus around $ 200 to pack our TVs. WTF!!! I then asked how much for just the TVs, the bed and the tool box. He said it would cost what we were quoted. I had no energy to argue and agreed to that and understood the extra cost to pack the TVs (I’m sure he could tell I was annoyed).
As they were loading the truck, the driver said he could fit the 4 boxes in the space that I rented. I signed all the paperwork, we added the 4 boxes to the inventory list and they left.
I have not received my items yet and I’m nervous after reading the reviews and after my experience with them so far. It seems that they low ball the quote and then get you to agree to pay more money when they show up.
When they came to deliver, everything was in order and not broken. I did not appreciate the pick up but the delivery, thank goodness, went well. I think the fact that I bubble-​wrapped a lot of items before placing in the boxes helped.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE; DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU ARE BETTER OFF STRAPPING EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ON YOUR BACK AND MOVING IT YOURSELF WOTH YOUR FRIENDS!!!

After having my Move Date set for a month and already paid for, I received a phone call with little notice that they couldn’t not move me either of my 2 designated preset contracted days. I was told and I quote, ‘we have to move you Sunday, or we will cancel your move altogether sir.’ After getting angry, they then said ‘sir, we will just cancel your move and terminate this call.’ That was a Manager speaking! Wow!
My wife & I were supremely upset and had to cancel our good bye party as we had already based our entire life move from AZ to Chicago around them for a month.
The real kicker is once they got there, they wanted to charge almost $ 2000 extra to move our stuff because the truck couldn’t get close enough to our apartment on a Sunday. Well go figure, because we were originally scheduled for Monday or Tuesday and we had a spot cleared for the truck if they would have kept there end of the promise. By the time they notified us, we couldn’t prepare the spot for the truck. If we said NO to the day they apparently made us move, we would have had to cancel and find new movers which would have taken forever. To this day, I wish I would have canceled if I knew what lies ahead.
If it wasn’t for me working some magic of my own to persuade security to let the truck closer my quote would have gone from $ 5000 to almost $ 7000. Saddest part my friends… it was all their fault in the first place!
The actual packing and moving process was booked for 3 hours or so. It took 8 hours and my wife and I finally went to bed at 2 am — without a bed and had to get a hotel (more money spent).
Did Elite offer a discount? NO.
Did they treat me any kinder as a customer? NO.
After storing our goods and setting the standard of ’70% of our deliveries come within 5 – 10 business days of your selected first day of delivery is a lie!
We received our stuff 3 weeks later!!!
One time they even called and said it was on the way. It never showed up after 7 days. I called back; they told me the truck broke down and didn’t leave yet. Did anyone call me to warn me??? NO. I had to call them!!!
Still I didn’t receive any discounts or updates the rest of the time frame.
Now I’m sure you can understand how frustrated we were after sleeping on an air mattress for weeks that when I called for info, they stated they cannot call their drivers and they can’t update you on the drivers whereabouts. Maybe Elite Moving hasn’t discovered cell phones yet, but if I can track my Über at any moment, why can’t they track & contact their employees driving the trucks with MY goods?
A few calls I placed to Elite resulted in them telling me they would ‘terminate my phone call’ because they didn’t have answers and we’re getting frustrated with me. Rude. Rude. Rude.
Only bright side: our stuff made it.
Some was broken or missing. For the most part, it was decent.
Both moving crews that actually pack, load & unload were great. Our delivery driver went out of his way and came to us quicker after I FINALLY got his number. He called me and you can bet I saved that number! Thank you Victor! You were the hero for us!
If you want to be stressed, concerned, talks down to, wondering where your stuff is and like hassle, this company is for you.
Read this again and make sure you understand what I’m saying because I will NEVER use this company again. I would rather get a horse and pull my goods in a carriage across the USA then use this company.
I have never been a so insulted by a companies treatment over the phone. Sad when it’s even the management.
I made the mistake of not reading their other reviews before using them. Don’t do the same.
Moving is already hard enough; if you’re dropping a lot of coin to have someone do it for you, isn’t it supposed to be easier???

THIS IS THE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. Do not use them you will regret it. I didn’t see my stuff for over a month and a half when I was told on the phone otherwise. Their customer service is terrible. Make sure to read all the fine print in the contract, they don’t believe in quality customer service. Don’t say you haven’t been warned…

My husband and I are in the process of moving. My husband took care of getting quotes from moving companies. This company is like your crazy ex-​boyfriend or ex-​girlfriend who won’t get the hint. They left a voicemail. I didn’t call back. They called again. I didn’t pick up. They called again and I spoke to a rep. I told him we already found another company.
The nosy guy asked which company so I told him. He said he has never heard of them and asked more questions about the company. Look pal. I don’t know the history of the moving company or where their headquarters are. Then he asked if they charge by weight. Then proceeded to tell me how they will probably overcharge me and the cons of going with a company that charges by the weight. I said OK, that’s nice. I’m already stressed as it is about moving. No need to make me worry more.
No respect for companies that bash other companies to win my business. I had received other calls from other moving companies and after I had told them I found a company already, they said thank you politely and bye. That’s the way you should act. Professional. I would hate to think what would happen if we had decided to go with them. After perusing the reviews, I’m glad we didn’t.

Possibly the worst moving experience of my life. In the past 4 years I’ve lived in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and Nevada. I move a lot. This company is the worst I’ve ever dealt with by leaps and bounds.
I gave them the date I was available to receive the goods… They then gave me a two week window which they missed by nearly a week. Then on the day of they were hours late to the 6 hour window they gave me and I had to call-​in to work. The initial quote was for the high 900s I didn’t have much to move. After I REMOVED items from that list, when the movers arrived the quote nearly DOUBLED!!! Absolute crap and thievery. I will never work with them again and will write a bad review on every site I can find.

The MOST Unprofessional and Irresponsible Disgusting Company! All they know is how to deceive the customers.
1. They talk nice and kind ONLY DURING the SALE or fixing up the contract (be careful guys)
2. They give you a wrong quote and they call it ‘estimate’. They give lower figures and get you sign the contract (be careful at this step too… coz they are good at deceiving)
3. They will ask you «your first date of pick up» and tell you that it will take 10 –15 business days to deliver your goods from the first date of pick up (Don’t fall for it… They just lie… Very straight forward lie)
4. Then, they don’t contact you, nor let you know the status of your goods… they took more than 1 month to deliver my goods… TRUST ME… I was living without my goods for a month… Spent so much money living in Hotels etc… At a minimum, I as a customer expect to know the status of my goods… They Don’t Let you know anything.
5. The reality is — This company gives your goods to another company who does the transportation work and so they don’t know the status of your goods (These Guys are NEVER on time)
6. After more than a month, they call you a day before delivery and «some» different company arrives at your place w/​a truck on the day of delivery. FIRST THING they do is — take the money from you even before the goods are delivered at your place… You will know why they take the money first (shady crew, unprofessional people come over, they are rude, irresponsible).
7. Then you will see ‘broken boxes’ and damaged goods… This company damaged by «Couch», they broke my glasses/​kitchen items, they broke my TV Stand, they lost my bed hardware, they broke my ceremic plates., they broke my office desk…, basically, they don’t care about your broken stuff…(DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY)
8. They DID NOT fix my queen bed… they said, they can’t find the h/​w of my bed so they just threw my bed parts in the bed room without fixing it … they dismantled it while picking up, but they say it is not their responsibility to fix it back. They said, «we don’t care about fixing your bed as we have not dismantled it and we did not pack it» (Strange!)
9. I called their office to talk about fixing my bed… They said their job is DONE when you signed the contract. You take care of your bed, you take care of the other items… Now the office management started being rude…
10. Right now, I am at present dealing with «goods loss» and «damaged goods» claim…, which is another unprofessional experience with these guys…

Finally, I have an advise for this company — Please close your company, you are not fit to run this business.
My recommendation to viewers/​prospects/​customers — I highly recommend NOT TO USE this company for any reason! There are many other companies who understand the value of a customer. NOT ELITE MOVERS….

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you could rate a place 0 stars I would… My sister used them and they low balled the quote and tried to bully her into paying triple what they quoted. Then they only took some of her stuff. She had to fly back to her old address for one night with a couple large bags to get the rest. Now they are essentially holding her stuff hostage and can’t tell us when it’s being delivered (it’s been a month). When you call their office Michelle is super rude and unprofessional, she speaks to everyone in a demeaning manner and won’t let you finish a sentence before she starts rant about how you’re uninformed again. This place should be shut down permanently! I would rather make 100 trips on horseback across the country to move my stuff than deal with this joke of a place!

Received a call not to long ago from a representative from Elite. We discussed my review for awhile and the guy asked me to delete my post. He hinted that I should be hearing from their lawyer if I didn’t. Please don’t Use this COMPANY.

SHADY is the understatment of the year on these guys. I checked these guys out prior to using their services and they were rated A+ with BBB, however they aren’t accredited when you look them up now. When they send you their quote they even use that as a selling/​marketing tool. Only problem is, BBB won’t take complaints against them. They refer you to the Department of Transportation. I think they bought their way onto that list myself. I Unilocaled them, and they had over 70 great ratings, but all of a sudden now that company listing is gone from Unilocal and now a new company listing with over 30 bad reviews is on Unilocal as well as one with no listings at all — SHADY AGAIN. Here is what happened to me: They were supposed to pick up my items on the 23^rd, but they ended up getting there on the 24^th. I didn’t even know they weren’t coming until I called them and asked where they were at 4:00 p.m. that day. No communication at all. You should know they charge by the cubic foot, not by weight like other movers. You should know this especially because they will use it against you and say any and all sorts of things about how cubic feet come out. Hey dummies, a cubic foot is 12in x 12in x 12in — it doesn’t matter what size truck you put it on. I had minimal boxes and a couple of end-​stands at my friend’s house, and an «almost full» 5×10 storage unit (the storage unit would come out to be 500 cubic feet if completely full to the top which it wasn’t). In any case, they put all my stuff on the truck (which had already had items on it from other people) and it all fit on one truck. The items coming from the house didn’t go over half of what they originally quoted me which was 328 cubic feet (they say they use a standard system that gives them sizes but who knows how old their system is). So, this is where there is a HUGE problem. At the end of the load at the storage unit, they put down that I had 815 cubic feet of stuff. I didn’t say much because I figured that when they put it on the 18 wheeler they would measure it again and adjust (as it STATES CLEARLY on the contract under Section 2 — but apparently no one can read or comprehend that part of the contract in their office). The second day I got into North Carolina I attempted to call and talk to a manager because I realized that I should have some sort of notation in their system and be sure they would and did indeed adjust it. The guy «Roy» was a complete rude jerk and I basically hung up on him because he just kept repeating that it was the way the boxes were put in the truck and I had more boxes than I told them on the original quote, etc. Problem with that is, the boxes came from the storage and SPACE IS SPACE and that equals only 500 cubic feet. When they got here to deliver (which by the way took them over a month), my uncle (who by trade is a contractor) got on the truck and measured my items which came to 7×8×9 = 504 cubic feet. I immediately got on the phone while the movers (who themselves said there is no way I had 815 cubic feet worth of stuff) still had my items on the truck and attempted to discuss this with a manager «Roy», who I didn’t ask for by name as I was trying to get a different, less of a jerk, manager. My uncle was on the phone with me via speakerphone and Roy kept saying, how do you know what the size is if the items are still on the truck. That was easy because all my items were in the first part of the truck so we measured from the front wall of the truck to the edge of my boxes, etc. It was a wall, and then my items stacked against it and strapped down. Roy again said that it’s different measurements and different sized trucks measure differently and we aren’t accounting for the voided space (empty space) etc. We didn’t really even have to because they packed my stuff up so tight in there what little space was left at the ceiling area, etc, my uncle included — see pics. They essentially overcharged my by $ 1,428.20. They would not unload my items unless I paid them the additional $ 1672.50 which had to be in Cash or a Post Office Money Order so I had no choice but to pay them to get my stuff. The total amount I paid was $ 3545 which is $ 4.20 per cubic foot multiplied by their excessive 815 cubic foot amount. I only used 504 cubic feet of space which was measured and even agreed upon by the two movers who came to drop off my items so I was overcharged $ 1,428.20. Not only that, my items were wet, I have water damage on my Armoire which was wrapped in a blanket, I have over 5 plus boxes that have been water damaged (I was told my items would be in a videotaped and secure storage unit until delivered to me) and even more items that have been broken (file cabinet), dinged (stainless steel trash can), and smashed. At the end of the day, go with a different company, or even use PODS. I wish I had. What a nightmare this has been.

UPDATE — We are on the 20^th business day from when my things were picked up. After posting my review and reaching out to many of you and the news station last Friday, I got a call from Elite telling me my things were on the way and, of course, they get 7 operational days to deliver. Well, today is the 5^th day. and if I’m supposed to get a 24 hour notice, they sure are cutting it close. I am not hopeful that they are going to follow through on that «guarantee» and if I don’t receive a call by tomorrow… I’ll call every media outlet possible to get more recognition on such a shady business.

Started off with a mis-​quote. Moving company arrived and wanted 2,000 more than quoted. After talking to the wicked witch of the west Suzie she yelled at me and said «Quotes are done with a national average» Well you ever think your national average isn’t working and maybe adjust your own average to be a little more accurate? No that would be called thinking something that isn’t done much with this company. I had to leave most of my furniture behind to accommodate my budget. I asked a mover if this happens a lot and he said «All the time»
Took my stuff 30 days to leave their warehouse and begin driving across country. Then they made another genius move and didn’t deliver to my storage unit like we agreed on but took it Brooklyn NY at some other 1 star rated moving company called Walla Moving where it sat there for 8 days due to «flooding». Great…
Finally my stuff arrives… My dresser destroyed… my coffee table broken…2 of my boxes looked like someone opened them and tried to re-​tape them. And the sketchy guy who delivered my stuff’s breath could of stripped paint off the wall. But here is the best part…
I had 8 boxes delivered and only 7 showed up. The one that was missing? The one with all my expensive work equipment in it. When I called to find out where it was A: Took me about 5 – 10 calls before I got any call backs and when I did from the employee of the year Suzie was ZERO help and would tell me she would call me back with updates and just never did. Just a lot of lying and BS to get you off the phone. I don’t know where these people came from but they have no skills at being helpful with customer service. Just really bad at what they do. Probably just pissed at their life choices for ending up having to work for such a shame company.
So in conclusion my box was stolen somewhere along sitting in their warehouse for 30 days and traveling to Brooklyn when I didn’t want it to go there. The employees are rude and treat you like shit. This place needs to be shut down and the employees there need to go back to working at McDonald’s.
Oh but they said I could file a claim and have my «case reviewed» so I can get a whopping $ 27 back for the box. Thanks for the final slap in the face Elite.

Elite Movers are Liars and thieves.
We moved from Phoenix to Denver and didn’t have a permanent home upon arrival so we used Elite Liars and Thieves Movers because they would store our stuff for up to 30 days no charge.
We found a home and called to set up a date for delivery. Their agreement is 7 – 10 days from the date requested you will have your stuff.
TWO weeks after our 10 day window, we finally were told a date and time only to be called that night before they won’t be there. It’ll be on more day. Liars.
Our stuff gets here and just like everyone else’s review, the drivers are nice guys. They were nice on both ends of our move. It’s the ownership and management that lie and steal.
Our list of missing/​damaged items include a king size Temperpedic mattress, legs to our very expensive dining table, and ¹⁄₃ of the parts necessary to complete the spare bedroom bed. (How do you lose a king mattress?) when we called, they said «in 20 years we’ve never lost anything!» Huh? Any reasonable person would know this is a lie.

How shady is this company!!! I’m getting phone calls from them from a CA number (where I moved from) and yet they’re based in Las Vegas. And why the hell am I getting calls from them 6 months AFTER the nightmare they inflicted on me. If they’re planning on giving me back my 2 months worth of rent they swindled out of me then leave a message!!!

I hate having to give Elite Moving even one star. But I want to make sure I start getting this out there so no one has to deal with the complete mess I have been dealing with. Just to start with the story the initial quote was $ 1741 with the understanding that it maybe a little more due to actual cubic feet used in the truck, distance between the apt and the truck, and wrapping the furniture and TV… no problem right? My delivery date was Feb 25 with another clause it may be 7 – 10 business days after that date to deliver, worst case they said. They got to my apt to pick up my goods, their new estimate not just doubled they charged $ 4,998. Considering I was in a pinch everything was ready to go I had a time restraint, I agreed. I was told this estimated was worse case scenario, and there may possibility (very unlikely I was told) be a small charge to transfer my goods to a smaller truck to get it to where I live which would be around $ 200. Feb. 25 rollls around I’ve heard nothing. I start calling only to get automated answering systems asking me to just email for answers. I started calling back and going though the system as if I was looking for an estimate just to get a human on the phone. When I did the receptionist was very well scripted explaining that she could not give me any information on where and when my things would arrive (not allowed to give out driver information) the run around and no manager available. While I’m waiting for my things I only have a suitcase of clothing. No bed, no blankets or pillows, no dishes, no tv nothing… It’s all on their truck. Finally MARCH 17 rolls around, company calls and said my goods are at a warehouse and it’s going to cost about $ 600 to have it delivered. Absolutely furious I called a friend who ended up using a truck to go pick up my goods at the warehouse. Here’s another part I was charged for 1025 cubic feet. The truck my friend used to get it was roughly 750 cubic square feet, it took 1 trip and we had to unload and move it all into my new place our selves. Now on top of this there is so much damage to my things, I get more angry with every box I open. Yes Elite has insurance so I called that company only to find I have to go though a million hoops just to submit a claim. They do not except email or emailed photos of my damages everything must be printed out and done through the mail. This is absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a moving company or any company for that matter.

Super nice on the phone. Shady movers!!! BE CAREFUL OF THE PAPERWORK. I’m currently going through the process of filing claims for all my damaged goods. They even managed to crack my motorcycle. They caused so many problems and almost left behind my bookshelf and stools had I not stopped them from driving away! I had to spend all my time managing them and was so exhausted when it came time for the paperwork I missed a few things. They had pre-​marked all my goods as damaged, torn, dented, and broken to cover themselves should they be damaged on delivery. Why would I pack and ship broken goods? They also took longer than their 5 – 10 day window and called me on a sunday, no banks or post offices open, right before delivery and told me I need to pull out more cash for whatever charges they felt like adding.
Thieves in disguise. I’m sure all movers have bad reviews on Unilocal but take your chances with someone else. If you do choose Elie:
1. Keep all your paperwork
2. Set the whole day aside and take your time. They don’t get paid by the hour so just play their game. Read all the paperwork, keep a cool head, and question everything.
3. My fathers watch is missing… Hide your goods. Don’t assume it’s just safe in a box.
4. Don’t bother shipping pressed wood aka target type furniture. They don’t tell you this but it’s not covered and they will break.
5. Don’t use the people they recommend for moving cars. They damaged my paint, burnt my clutch, and now they’re giving me the run around for their insurance.
Hope this helps. I’ve moved a handful of times in the past few years and this was the worst move I ever had. talked to their director of operations and he just said sorry a bunch of times. Fortunately, I have one too many lawyers in the family to deal with this nonsense.
