Their front office staff is so incompetent. At my first call to set an appointment I was on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up to try another day. When I finally got through to schedule, their first opening was 3 weeks later. A few days before that appointment they called & left message that there would be no therapist here that day so I would have to drive to the Durango location. I refused to drive that far because of their mistake, so had to wait an additional 2.5 weeks to get in. Then when I finally get there, the front office asked what I was there for. When I said I’d been in a car accident & hurt my neck & back– then «well which one are you here for?» Don’t they treat both? And did it really matter anyway since it was my first appointment & so an evaluation. Between the above & the rudeness about the paperwork, I should have followed my intuition & left. But no, I figured maybe it was just the office that was incompetent. Well, the therapist obviously wouldn’t know how to help me since she just wanted to go through her checklist & ask what that exercise did pain-​wise — where does it hurt & what level? Not a bad idea if we didn’t have to rush through it so that I was still in pain from the 3^rd movement back with no recovery time so that there was NO way to give any accurate answers. I guess the rush was that even though I showed up ½ hour before appt as requested to do the initial paperwork which took 15 minutes, I was waiting for 45 minutes past my appt time to see the therapist.
I have been with friend’s to their PT appts at other locations where the only time they are left alone is after their therapy while they are relaxing with ice packs. Here there were 2 other patients — one was lying on a table no ice or anything & another was doing a weight exercise — but both were alone.
I do NOT ever plan on going back because I am not going to put myself in a position of them possibly doing more damage than I already have, nor do I ever want to see their rude staff again. Seriously when I called & cancelled my scheduled appt (over the 48 hrs in advance required). I immediately received a call about how I couldn’t miss any «therapy» because I was being seen on an atty lien, so I needed to reschedule, when I said no, the rude witch said with a serious attitude «well, I’m going to call your attorney». GO ahead, because I can find another place that I will not never have to see that place or fools again.
