DIY Flavor Shack vapors

I’m giving 2 stars because they have a large selection of flavors to choose from, and there was a coupon on Unilocal for trying them. It also is a cool looking place in a fairly easy to find location. That said, I’m not sure if the young man helping me was new, but he should not have been there alone if that was the case.
I mentioned I had never been here before, or any vape shop like this. I was hoping he could explain the DIY process, I really had to drag information out of him, I figured out the flavor book by myself. Any questions I had seemed overwhelming. I asked about the difference between similar flavors, and how high I should burn their liquids. Basically I got, whatever voltage you want will be fine. I’ve tried several brands and they all have their sweet spot, I expected a place making their own to know more about the liquid. I ended up going with a cool honeydew (my go to flavor trying new brands) instead of trying anything too wild since I couldn’t really get any input. It tastes pretty gross, almost earthy as another reviewer put it. The smell of the vapor reminded me of a reptile tank, it’s offensive and I feel bad for those around me when I vape it due to the smell, which defeats the purpose of why I switched from cigs to vape. I read online that it takes several weeks for eliquid to «steep» and mature in flavor. As this will certainly just get thrown in some drawer I’ll update my review on the flavor if time indeed improves it. Very disappointed as the reviews for this place were so unrepresentitive of my personal experience.

I love this shop I always get my juices here and when I’m too lazy to build I always come here. Shane Joey Jordan and Bryant are awesome folks.

I am in Cali, so I did an online order. You never really know what you are going to get when you try out new e-​juices. I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the juices I bought! And they kicked in a free one, love that stuff. They have so many more flavors I want to buy. I will be a return customer.

Stopped in on my way home from work. Not only did DIYFlavorShack have new flavors I wanted (Needed) the guys were very helpful in every form. I’m new to vaping like 2 months (I guess that’s called a Noob but, I wasn’t treated like one)
They gave me much needed info on the how’s and whys to save money in the future and gave me an example of the next step for me in Vaping without trying to sell me something!
Hooray guys!
Oh and by the way that Juice well, so far I have been a pretty solid CUTTWOOD user and I picked up two bottles from DIY

All I can say is if there were six stars I would give PILLOW TALK all six. Interstellar would get five out of six just because Pillow talk is just a little better.
Anyway what are you waiting for go for a visit, hit a few flavors and leave with some Juice, Sauce, Liquid and maybe some hardware. These guys know what they are doing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The service was nice, the atmosphere was nice, everything customer service related was nice, and the price was nice. So, where do I get off giving three stars? You get what you pay for.
Even after letting my juice sit for awhile to settle, the flavors just seem to be cheap. It felt nice to walk out of the store with four 10ml bottles for around $ 20, but as it turns out, I can’t stand one of the flavors, and the other three are tolerable at best. Maybe I just have a poor mind when it comes to picking flavors to mix together, but that’s doubtful. Comparing DIY’s blueberry custard liquid to another brand’s similar flavor, the quality difference is noticeable.

Best vape shop I have been in here in vegas! This is one of those shops where they really want you to love the product that you walk away with. Free coil builds and they make sure that it’s the kind of build you will personally want. I walked in with low expectations because lest be honest most shops just want you in and out the door. Not here they want you to sit down get to know you and your flavor profile and fill it. Ask for a flavor they will try to make it and if they can’t they will let you know and not bs you about it. Super cool guys I would recommend this shop to anyone I know. Also they offer a vape mixing class and a kit to take home and start making your own flavors very cool guys if you are in the neighborhood deff stop by and see if they can help you out. I promise you will not walk away unhappy I am super impressed by these guys.

I went in there last night in hopes that I wasn’t going to have another vape nightmare these guys not only knew their stuff but when I explain to them in my inexperienced vape talk they knew exactly what I was explaining and knew exactly what I needed they made me a 20\80 mix that was very flavorful at a 2 mg nicotine I only bought a few different flavors to give it a whirl and I’m very pleased not to mention the vape bar is set up more realistically using your basic tank and battery hooked up electronically with all 0 milligram juice so you can try them all without getting a headache they brought my stuff up had it done in no time but it was fun to kind of hang out and chat with them and learn more about vaping and watching them with their mad skills thanks Joey for your awesome customer service

My husband and I go here frequently and always receive wonderful customer service. Everyone is knowledgeable, always smiling and willing to help. So if you’re a newbie or a vape Fanatic I highly recommend DIY and their staff. Thank you for everything!

Totally change my review after my last few visits to diy. They are super helpful and are way to giving. Love the samples. Joey answers all my dumb questions every time I’m there thanks boys…

This is the worst vape shop in Vegas by far! I’m from California so I know a good vape shop when I see one. So to start off they people that work here lie to your face about products and everything else you ask. They could not explain what the difference was in the different ohm sizes of replacement cools they carry for there sub tanks. They have no devices to sample from, they just tell you to eat some to try it! All of there juices are house made:(along with tones of dies in them! They call there shop a DIY vape shop but all the stuff they carry is low quality! Especially the RDA’s they have a authentic rubix cube in the case, when I asked to purchase on they brought out a Tobeco clone when I mentioned it they said a clone is just as good as the real thing. Even though it is not the same thing that’s why it is a clone!

I was trying to look for a spot that sells flavoring for juice. I came across DiyFlavorshack and came to visit! Shane was very helpful and got my juice! Definitely gonna come back whenever I need juice!

I came across DIY flavor shack by accident. Checked out their site and it seemed interesting, the whole DIY thing. I went in for my first time and the 2 guys I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable and gave some tips on mixing my own juices. Even though it it clear across town (36mile round trip) it is the only place I go to for ejuice. With what appears to be 100’s of flavors, there is something for everyone. Prices are REALLY GOOD for juices they make, and even better if your a DIY person. Throw in their weekly coupon deals that you get via text and you be vaping at a fraction of the cost that other shops will charge for a 10ml bottle.

I live in New Hampshire. I have never been to the storefront business, so I can only review my online and telephone experiences.
These people truly care about their customers! A local shop in Massachusetts turned me on to diyflavorshack, and told me to order via the website to save me a drive to Mass every few weeks. I have ordered online and called for help in store for the past few years, and every time I do so, I couldn’t be happier with my experience. They are helpful on the phone and walk me through any foolish questions I have without hesitation!
The prices are fantastic, it’s actually cheaper for me to order direct from here than to buy different juices from my local vape stores. They always send coupon codes to make their prices even lower, and freebies!
I will be a returning customer until the day I drop vaping… or drop dead… whichever comes first lol!

Great atmosphere! Shawn assisted me in my purchase of e liquid and hooked me up with their bomb «Mr good stuff» and a few other awesome flavors. He even gifted me with more juice on my way out! I don’t want to make other people stray away from this store because I’m not happy with it. I’m just going to leave it at this instead of trying to hurt their business. Just not where I’ll be going subsequently.

This shop seems to be a hit or miss with alot of reviewers. Its all opinionated and we all need to keep in mind, each one of these b&m shops are run differently. I have yet to run into a B&M shop that lacks customer service skills, but that may just be because I have an inviting personality. Anyways, on to the quick review.
This time I heard about this B&M after trying a juice flavor at one of my monthly B&M, IHeartVape. I was running really low on kanthal wire and was already close to home to drive back to IHeartVape. Greeted while entering by Joey, I believe, and he was talking with one of his suppliers. Thats ok, gave wife and I some time to look around and scout the shop. Very clean inside, small but comfortable. After the supplier was done, Joey asked how he could help. Told him I was looking for some 24g kanthal, and he told me they did not have any. He showed me the gauges that he did have and I went with the 26g. At that time 2 more customers walked in. At that time, another worker came from the back and helped the 2 new customers. Didn’t know he had anyone else back there, but no harm. All the time, he spoke to my wife and I about the history of the company and future upgrades they were going to do. Being so involved with telling this to us, he forgot how many feet of kanthal he rolled. «Take it» he said. It’s on the house. Really? Quite a friendly gesture from a guy reviewers say have no customer service or social skills. Did you know that theres a controvoursy about the VTC5 battery putting out only 20amps? He did. Looks like I’m in the market for new batts and a charger.
They have classes for DIY juices. In his words, if we can teach customers to do their own juices to save money, and they don’t come back, more power to them. The vape community is about unity. Everyone is or wants to stop smoking, or maybe wants to adopt a new hobby. Either way, its all for the good. I believe DIYflavorshack was representing this to us when we went. We will be back for the classes when time permits, and even though we did not purchase anything, the experience was good and he let us have samples just for us to be able to extend the experience at home. I’ll be back again. See you guys soon.

Great Juices, decently priced products. What more could you want?! Well, they are lacking in one small area (from my personal experience) customer service. Sure they aren’t mean, rude or any of that I just find the guys that work there to be often somewhat condescending. I can totally deal with it though, as they guys know what they’re doing and the flavors they make are great. Up your customer service and overall demeanor and this is an easy 5 stars. Thanks for being there DIY Flavor Shack!

This shop first started online, selling kits and products to mix your own flavors! And they now have a location you can visit physically! Good stuff
I live on the east side, but my girlfriend lives on the west, I stopped here on my way to her house one day. I have to be honest, I saw the free flavor jar here and wanted a couple, for testing purposes of course! I walked in, there’s not a place i can sit and relax comfortably, the only space you have is surrounded by glass showcases, it looks quite nice! They have a good variety of flavors. I’ve tasted around 10 to 20 of their tasters, and about 10 caught my taste buds.
Unfortunately i could not purchase anything due to a date i had with my gf, but ill definitely be back to purchase some. I received a business card from the nice lady helping me and a couple samples. The samples were nothing extraordinary, but they weren’t bad.
Customer service was average on my visit. Very friendly, knowledgeable to an extent. the man i talked to first didn’t know too much about rebuildables which i had on me that day, he took some toots off his mvp and he loves it. He’s a nice guy.
Overall a good experience, i like their prices, love their sample jar as it’s a good touch, they have many sizes of bottles so if you like to stock up for a good price, you can start here if you prefer physical transactions.

I don’t know how they make their money since they sell cheap and give freebies, but it must be purely from the loyalty that gains in customers. This is a family owned business as Dawn mixes the juice and her son was helping us at the counter and they do try to strive to please customers.
My MIL have seen on blogs that their menthols is fantastic and so far so good! This is the closest the MIL has gotten to this holy grail she’s looking for and seems to be very happy with the Shacks Menthol. She wasn’t sure if she liked just plain menthol as it felt there was something a bit missing, but the tobacco added was gross to her and was a bad idea of have added. Dawn was sweet enough to just change and tweak things for her when most places would just say sorry about it, and to go buy another bottle without the flavor mixture you effed up on asking for. I am hoping this will be the answer to her quitting, she’s puffing on that pretty good and not touching her cigs as much so crossing fingers.
Apparently she’s been mixing flavors for 8 years now, was one of the first to really get into this selling online and these are all her own recipes she found mixing in her kitchen. Prices breakdowns: 6ml $ 4, 10ml $ 7, 20ml $ 14, 30ml $ 20, 60ml $ 25 so their juices are pretty cheap as well. They have A LOT of flavors, a binder with pages broken down by categories.
The downside is they don’t all have samplers of each flavor. If they can have a full bar set up, that would be absolutely make this place even better. I think that’s something that is a must in every shop since not all flavors will live up to expectations. Also some of the testers were empty or leaking so a bit more upkeep on them to keep them going would be good.
They have some hardware like evods, itaste, etc and currently have a Unilocal check in offer if you buy $ 20 you get a juice for free. Grand opening is coming soon, right now they are in their soft opening phase.
The BF and I tried various flavors and we both really liked the Li Hing Mui. Sure, it’s not salty like the Li Hing is, but the plum tangy floral type flavor was there for me. We also got a iClear 16 tank here which I think is one of my favorite replaceable top wick tanks.
The kicker here is they have a bowl of pink capped no nicotine 6ml bottles and those are SAMPLES. The BF and I looked at a few and were setting out a few flavors that didn’t have testers out and figured maybe we could each get one and they said to take a few home.
That is crazy to have given it to us for free, but they did seal with that we will absolutely be back.
