Dessert First specializes in miniature I scream cakes! Covered in chocolate! Think of a large sized combination of real cake and ice cream. Now shrink that down to the palm of your hand, and don’t forget the coating of chocolate. Smaller sizes allow for trying different flavors. Each I scream cake has a different combination of cake and I scream and is covered in either white, dark, or milk chocolate. Every month there is a new flavor to try!

History
Established in 2014.
The business idea came towards the end of 2013. There were LOTS of experimental days involved in the creation of I scream cakes. Different molds were used, and testing of recipes had to be done. Finally, the perfect size and flavors came together! Since opening, even a vegan option has been added to the menu. New flavors and I scream cake combos of sweet treats are being thought up all the time. Look for new products soon!

Business Owner
Sabrina is the Pastry Chef and owner of Dessert First. She believes she was born with a mouth full of sweet teeth, which is how the motivation to do something different with cake and ice cream came about. After taking every culinary class offered in middle and high school, she graduated with her culinary degree and from a 3 year apprenticeship from 2 restaurants, which allowed her to explore different stations in the kitchen. Pastry soon became the most favored course of the meal. She has a small background in cake decorating, and would say cake and I scream are equally loved when asked her favorite dessert to make or eat.
