Desert Nails

My 8 yrs old got a pedi and there wasn’t an issue until the lady wanted to make sure the price of $ 20 was going to be okay. I felt like, yeah duh! My oldest got a full set. Color is cute. The nails are uneven. The paint job is crappy!!! Anyhow I was sitting for next to her until a technician told me I had to move out of the seat. Fine no big deal. She sat a woman there and then she moved her back. The issue I have is her tone and attitude about it. Customer service here is bad. If I’m spending money I expect good service if it can’t be great. Charged me an extra 5 for a flower that was done on my 8 yrs old. I didn’t even ask for it. If she thought it was going to be nice at least keep the charge a day do something nice to be nice. My husband tipped them $ 5 each too. An extra $ 10 wasted. I’d rather take $ 60 and burn it after dealing with this place. WILL NEVER COME BACK!!!

I get mani and pedi. Affordable and they do a good job. I prefer the guys though because I like a good strong foot/​hand massage. Also, I would prefer relaxing spa music to help me relax instead of the hip hop station they play.
Don’t get waxing done here though. I don’t think they are professionally trained. I had my face waxed and it ripped my skin off in three spots. It hurt bad! They never used a cooling gel or a cold rag to lessen the pain. My face was on fire! I use a RX gel and found out from another professional esthetician that if you use Differin gel you cannot have your face waxed because it makes your skin sensitive, thin, and dry. Ooops! Well that explains why the two times of waxing about ripped my face off, was red, and broke out horribly! The first time they blamed it on the oil, the second time they used powder but it still destroyed my skin. But they never knew enough to ask me if I used a RX fave cream. I confirmed this with my dermatologist. Desert Nails should have known to ask me this!

I have gone here twice so far and I love it. Kim does my nails, I have yet to have a lift or a nail break and they are lasting more then 3 weeks! So far so good! 2 of my good friends go here also, I was recommended to come to this nail place through a friend after loosing my nail lady.

Horrible experience. Left very unhappy with nails. Got acrylic set but was shorter than preferred so after informing nail tech she cut them off made me soak them in acetone and after half assingly taking off acrylic she told me she refused to do my nails and for me to find a new place to go. Don’t go here if Ivy is working she was incredibly rude and yelled at me. I use to go here 1 – 2 times a month for my acrylics but I’ll be sure to find a new place. You’d expect better service when you give $ 5 – 10 tips every time you come in and never miss your appointments. Beyond hair and nails is a better quality service for the same exact prices and only a 4 minute drive away from this low quality store. Never returning to this location again. Will miss the closeness to my home.

After moving to Las Vegas, it took me almost 8 months to find a amazing salon. For the past 7 months I’ve been coming here and never once have had a issue. Amazing quality, friendly staff, and the list of services are endless. Tom and Kim are the main two I always ask for. I’m never disappointed. :)

my first time there and i got in quickly, i had ivy do my full set with gel polish for me in the coffin style and i am absolutely in love with them. i definately have a new nail salon and a new nail tech to go to! thank you so much, such an awesome job!

I paid $ 50 for a fill here. Two days later two nails broke. Went back to have them fixed and they told me it would be $ 10 just to fix them. Bad buisness. Expensive.

Tried numerous nail salons and nail techs the first 6 months living in this town. Finally I found a nail tech — Nancy Ann. My nails look freshly manicured for 3 weeks!

I have been coming here for a few months now and love it. The owner is awesome and reki (I think that’s how she spells it) is who I request. She does a great job and is quick!

So I have recently just started going to this place due to the fact my nail technician ((Vivian)) who I have been seen for over eight years moved to this location.
I love it because it’s a block away from my house and they’re not expensive. The inside of the establishment is set up pretty nicely and I would have to say everything just works out for me.
If you need your nails done and a cute design Vivian is the lady to see!!!

Came in multiple times and every time within a day or two had a nail break or the gel polish chip, and have had my white tips turn brown every time. Bad customer service, bad quality, and will not go back.

Love this place for my nails! They have a ton of different colors and many different types of Services! Jimmy is my favorite tech there!

Came here to get my daughter’s eyebrows waxed. Today I was reminded why I dislike coming to these type of places. A worker just walked up to me and looked at my feet then up at me. I found that very rude. I’m not sure who waxed my daughter’s eyebrows, but we were not impressed at all. I hope the fact that we left no tip, they caught the hint that there’s obviously things that they need to improve on. Starting with politely greeting customers!!!

Vina no longer works at this salon and they won’t provide information as to where she is now. I go to polished or polished too since this place. They do an amazing job.

Came here for a manicure and a pedicure. The lady that did my mani/​pedi was very nice and did a great job. The place is clean and comfortable, and they keep the door open so it doesn’t smell like chemicals too much. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because when I called beforehand, I was told the mani/​pedi would be $ 55 total, so I went in with $ 60 cash ($ 55 for the mani/​pedi and $ 5 for a tip) but when I got there, the lady told me it would be $ 60…so, I couldn’t give the lady a tip, which I felt bad about. If I’d been given the proper price when I called, I would’ve taken more money with me.

Simply not impressed. Inattentive and impersonal staff. My 8 year old could have given me a better pedicure. Save your money and go to a salon across the street. Definitely won’t be back.

I’ve been to cheap salons and expensive salons in LV and this is my very favorite. I get gel manicures and regular pedicures. Ivy does a wonderful job. I usually come in with my Pintrest pics and Ivy has done a great job mimicking all of them.
Now that I have moved across town, I still head to this salon every few weeks.
Prices are completely reasonable.

I frequent here quiet often. I never usually have to wait to get in. I really like the hard gel they have. It literally lasts me a month so completely worth the money. The manicurists are always friendly. They have a couple males which I prefer a female to take care of me. If you advise you prefer one or the other they will comply. They take credit cards and you can leave a tip on the card. Just make sure to let them know. Eyebrow wax $ 12, spa pedicure with extra massage $ 35. It is located to the left of Von’s.

It was so busy but the wait was not even that long!
Tony did my nails. I got acrylic white tips. He is so gentle and he holds your hand like a feather. He took his time but was so quick to doing my nails. They turned out great!
