First time to this office 2 weeks ago due to my regular dentist being out of town and I was experiencing tooth pain. We were leaving the next day for vacation for 10 days, so I wanted to have it checked before leaving. Was informed I required a root canal. I cringed, of course, as I have never had one and they definitely have a «bad rap». They were very accommodating and were going to fit me in and perform the procedure. In approximately 30 minutes! Seeing as I wasn’t in extreme pain and had dinner reservations 2 hours from then, I decided Ibuprofen was going to join us on our vacation. Even though they assured me I would be fine after an hour or so. Basically, I panicked and went on my way! Spent 10 days in Wine Country and was doing ok. One day with extreme pain, but nothing Ibuprofen couldn’t tackle. I did visit an Endodontist in CA to hopefully receive a bit stronger pain killer. I decided against that and pushed forward! By the time we returned home, I felt completely fine. Kept my scheduled appointment anyway and just had the root canal performed about 2 hours ago. I arrived at 9:45AM for my 10:00AM appointment. Was in the «chair» at 10:05. Numbing commenced. Procedure begun around 10:20. I was at the desk paying at 10:55! The Doctor and staff at this office is top notch. Truly a class act. Hate to say a root canal was an amazing experience, but it actually was. An hour with no food, and I am good to go! Just wish I would have heeded their advice and had it performed before we left 2 weeks ago! I now know you CAN totally trust what they have to say! TRUTH!

I was very pleased with the service at Dr. Fife’s office. Everyone is so nice! The thing that made me the happiest was the fact that I was in and out in no time at all. That never happens! My first «root canal.» I’ve had crowns and inlays done, but this was my first experience with a root canal. Dr. Fife was referred by my dentist and the experience couldn’t have been smoother. My expensive gold inlay in a major molar, after 10 years, had succumbed to eating pressure and it created a tiny crack that damaged the nerve. It was either an implant or a root canal. I went online and studied up on root canals. Here’s what I learned: you don’t end up with a «dead tooth.» A tooth’s nerve is not important to the tooth’s health & function after the tooth has emerged through the gums. Its only function is sensory — to let you feel heat or cold. The presence or absence of the nerve will not affect the day-​to-​day functioning of the tooth. I was done in 40 minutes at Dr. Fife’s office with less fuss than any I’ve had with a crown or an inlay. Dr. Fife explained everything, as he went along, and this was something I appreciated. No mystery and since he specializes in this procedure to the exclusion of everything else, I knew I was being treated by a «professional.» No pain and he and Brittany, his assistant, were like wizards. If you live in Vegas and want to save a tooth, but thought that a root canal is a painful, onerous experience, go see Dr. Fife.

I was referred to Dr. Fife as a root canal specialist. I had a root canal a few months back and was still experiencing pain. The office staff are all very friendly. Dr. Fife had an idea of what the problem was as we went through our initial review. I went with his recommendation and had another procedure that same day, he did locate an additional root that needed to be cared for. I was extremely pleased with his amount of detail and explanations through the procedure. I’ve had a little pain a few weeks past and they took me in for a follow up, again we covered some ideas to the root of the problem. I have an appointment with my dentist to proceed with my crown. Over all I’m very happy with Dr. Fife and his office. Thank you all for making these painful tasks in life a little easier to get through.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Fife for a root canal. I never had a root canal but I heard negative comments about root canals. When I arrived at Dr. Fife office, I was very anxious. Dr. Fife explained everything to me, why I needed a root canal and what I will be experiencing. To my surprise, the root canal was painless. There was minor discomfort for a couple of days. The evening of the procedure, Dr. Fife called me to ask how I was feeling. I’ve never had a doctor or dentist ever do this. I was very appreciative of the follow up call. I highly recommend Dr. Fife for your dental needs.

I had my root canal today. Never had one before, and was nervous as hell. Almost cancelled at the last minute even. Boy, am I glad I didn’t!
Ask anybody what they think about having a root canal and they’ll all tell you the same answer «hell no.» Not me, my experience was a pleasant one at worst. If I ever need one of these scary procedures done again, Dr Fife is where I’ll be doing it at. I swear, it wasn’t even as bad as having a cavity filled.
I know some of you are wondering why I’m writing such a thrilling review. I can assure you that it’s all from the heart. I wasn’t asked to write this root canal doctor review nor am I being compensated in any way whatsoever, I’m just a true satisfied customer!
I was not even referred to Dr Fife actually. My dentist (Dr Golpa) referred me out to another firm and I wasn’t happy with their Unilocal reviews. I looked for the Endodontist with the highest rating and most reviews and that’s how I found Dr Fife, all 5-​stars.

Went in cuz I had a root canal done 2 years ago in Cali and they didn’t do all my root canal so I had a really big infection. Dr. Fife and his assistant did a really good job, was comforting, and caring. The only pain I had was from the shot which was a bitch lol I would recommend this dentist to you if you need to do a root canal. They did an awesome job.

Staff is very friendly and Dr Fife is very thorough! Husband ended up having to do a root canal and he was amazed on the technology they had to do the procedure!

After a few days of dealing with an annoying toothache, I woke up last Thursday morning at 3 AM in unbearable pain. After a quick Unilocal search for someone I could trust my teeth with, I called right when they opened to see if they could squeeze me in to see what I needed (I just moved to Vegas and don’t have a normal dentist yet.) Not only could they fit me in, the receptionist let me know Dr. Fife would also have time to do a root canal if that’s what I needed done.
I found myself in Dr. Fife’s chair just a couple hours later in unbearable pain — I was alone and very upset, as I have dentist anxiety as most people do. Dr. Fife, his assistant, and both of his receptionists could not have been nicer or more understanding. I felt like Dr. Fife treated me like he would treat someone he cared about — he empathized with me and kept me informed of what he was doing every step of the way. He showed me why I needed a root canal and promised me a quick and relatively painless procedure — and he was telling the truth. The only part of the root canal that hurt at all was the shot to numb me, and that didn’t hurt at all compared to the pain I was feeling because of my tooth. (If you’re in need of an emergency root canal, I guarantee you’ll feel the same way.) Between the consultation and the root canal, I was in the office for a little over an hour, and I was able to go right back to work afterward.
I’ve heard so many horror stories about root canals and I was terrified. But Dr. Fife is so skilled, so experienced, and so professional — you are in excellent hands if you’re at his office. I wish he could be my regular dentist! To add to a great experience (imagine that, a great experience getting a root canal), I got a phone call from Dr. Fife himself at around 5pm just to check on how I was doing. What an incredible gesture. I hope I don’t find myself in need of his services again, but I would go back to him in a heartbeat and highly recommend him.

Absolutely wonderful. My wife and I were in from Utah when I began having severe tooth pain! Dr. Fife got me in same day to do a root canal. Procedure took 30 min and cost the same amount that was quoted to me back home. If I ever need another root canal I’ll be traveling to Vegas to do it with Dr. Fife!!!

Can I say a root canal was a good experience? Yes, I can! I was so nervous about hit being painful and long… it was neither of those things. Awesome staff, awesome doctor!

Dr. Fife and his staff are the best!!! I needed a root canal last one I had was over 25 years ago. In my head I was preparing myself for days of pain and multiple visits to the dreaded dentist chair. I was in and out in 35 minutes. No pain at all. Even stopped at Coffee bean and Costco on the way home. I do feel I need to make one negative remark in this review I forgot to pick up a bottle of wine at costco! Oh and yes Dr Fife called me on his way home to see how I was doing. I had an dental emergency once. A root canal was needed. Dr. Fife had me in and out of his office in 30min. He is a god send.

This guys and his office staff are amazing. Same day root canals? Who even knew that was possible. I have had 2 root canals with Dr. Fife and both times were quick, easy, and painless. He even calls you later to see how you are doing.

Excellent! He has done two of my root canals and both times he made the process as painless as possible. Great «chair side» manner, took time to answer questions, explain procedure and even gives you his personal cell phone number with after-​care instructions in case you need to get a hold of him.
The staff is also excellent! I saw a staff member a few days after my procedure at a 5k race; it was cold and super early but she still thought to ask me how I was doing :)
I hope I don’t have to see him again for a long time, but if I need another root canal while living in Las Vegas, I know Dr. Fife will do an excellent job.

Excellent doc. Took care of one root canal, to stop an infection and found one done years ago needed to be cleaned up as well. He did all the work same day/​same appointment. Called me later to see how things were going.
Need to go back for a similar problem, but this time he recommended having my regular dentist remove tooth since the source of problem would not show up on x-​rays. I did agree.
The office is very clean and modern, doc makes effort to keep procedure painless.
This type of dentistry is always expensive, so they found out for me what part insurance would pay before starting and showed me what my part and insurance would add up to. Fortunately, my credit card could be used to finance my balance.
I would recommend Dr. Fife to anyone when your regular dentist suggests you see him or another specialist.
