Dave’s Auto Repair is by far the best place to go when you need your car fixed at an honest price. We ran into issues with our 2007 Camry and my husband asked around his place of business for a good repair shop that wouldn’t rake us over the coals financially numerous co-​workers said Dave’s. Well due to the severity of our issues with the car (none due to misuse or neglect) we were cringing and grabbing our pocketbooks hoping we wouldn’t be reduced to eating ramen and cereal for 6 months to pay for repairs. Other places had quoted 1.5k to 2k for repairs… but Dave’s did for less than 400.00! And did it well! We will be recommending Dave’s to any and all who need their vehicles repaired. Courtesy and decent people working the counter and quality mechanics tinkering under the hoods. Well done sirs well done!

Ken is a great and honest mechanic. I went to his shop to check a small vibration that I was thinking it was an engine mount going bad and after checking my truck he told me that 4 cylinder engines do that. Other shops will jump on the opportunity and take your money. I end up doing an oil change and I asked them to change the belts as well. He found a boot leaking some grease and he pointed it out to me to keep an eye on it. Again other shops would jump on it and try to get more money.
If you want to deal with nice and honest people this is the place to go. The price was very reasonable and the service was fast.

I’m new to the Las Vegas area, so when my car wouldn’t start the other day it was very stressful! I got on Unilocal and found Daves. When I called I speaked to Ken and he was very friendly and told me it should be an easy fix and not too expensive. I brought my car in this morning and it was done within an hour. So glad I found this place!

I was looking for an auto service shop for oil change and to check out my car for a long drive. Read the reviews for Dave’s Auto Repair on Unilocal and am very glad I there. Ken is a great guy and, in addition to the oil change, also explained I need a couple of dried-​out belts replaced. He even showed me the belts so I could see for myself what bad shape they were in. Great service at a very reasonable price.

I highly recommend this auto repair shop! We’re on a road trip across the USA and our van starting having problems. The people at Dave’s were quick (under an hour), honest (didn’t try sell us things we didn’t need) and exceptionally helpful and pleasant. And most importantly reasonably priced.

I just wanted to give a shot out to the guys at dave’s for helping me.
I used to live in Vegas, but moved to Arizona, after picking up my mother to take her to Vegas for her birthday her car broke down and started overheating.
I was really stressed, specially after getting quoted over 1,200.00 — 1,300.00 everywhere else.
I called them and right away he asked me to at just let them take a look at my car before doing any work on it anywhere else, we spent hours everywhere else, but this guys took about 3hrs, quoted me 170 over the phone, once they looked at the car price went up to 230, I was ok with it because, you can tell they where being honest and truly cared about getting my mom and I back in the road!
After they where done replacing the parts they test drive it and made sure it was working great, before leaving they told me that if I had any problems to take it back there.
I just got to California about 15 minutes ago and the first thing I’m doing it’s writing this to let them know how much I appreciate it!
I’m planning on moving back within the next couple if months, and you bet they’ll have my business for sure!!!
To top it off they even replaced my radiator cap at no charge.
I do want to mention that one of the reasons why I called before throwing my money away, it’s because they place I was at had a 2 ½ star review and this guys had 5 STARTS!
No I know it’s because they care for you and your car!

I found this place here on Unilocal because I needed a cv axel and shocks. I wasn’t happy with the place that diagnosed these problems so I decided to give Dave’s a try.
When I called I spoke with Ken. He seemed nice enough. He said the work would cost about $ 500 and take around 3 hrs. He suggested I drop off the van in the morning and pick it up when it was done so I wouldn’t have to wait. So I dropped it off at 8. It took all day but that wasn’t a problem. I was just happy it could be completed same day. He called in the day to say the shocks cost more than he thought and it would be $ 659. When I told him that was a little much for me as the other place was quoting $ 700 but that was including balance, he knocked the price down. It ended up being $ 600 even which I was ok with.
Overall i thought it was a good experience. Ken seems like a nice guy. I appreciate that he helped me out of the price. I would come here again if my car needs something.

Dave’s Auto Repair is one of the most honest and reliable auto repair shop’s I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Ken even impressed my son, Tom, who is sure that there are no honest people around but he was won over by Ken and that’s not easy to do!
Ken, the owner, is an honest and helpful guy who told me several times that my poor old 2004 Chevy Tahoe with over 250,000 miles was a good car but has high mileage on it and that it might be better if I looked at a new car with no service issues. He’s right but poor old «4-​wheels» is paid for and still has a lot of use in her plus I wanted my not-​to-​good-​at-​driving kids to learn to drive in it. It would withstand anything my kids could do to it.
I had a short in the ⁴⁄₂ wheel drive system that would come and go at it own timing so I had to return to Dave’s 2 or 3 times before it appeared again. I have been driving from Henderson to LA for several months and, of course, it would show up in LA and the minute I turned it off in Henderson, it was gone.
One morning when I took my daughter to work, it showed up so I drove to Dave’s and Ken found the problem! It was a secondary sensor that was confused and stuck in 2 wheel drive and needed to be replaced. Ken called several places to see if he could get a replacement on a Saturday. Since it was on Ken’s way to the shop, he dropped me off at my front door.
About 4 hours later, Ken called and the car was done. He even came back to pick me up and take me to his shop. Okay, for every guy out there that thinks something is going on here or she must be a hot lady, unless you are interested in older women, this 60 year old lady wouldn’t be hot to you! As for the ladies, Ken is a divorced man who has his son living with him and is available. Ken would make any one a wonderful boyfriend if not a great husband but I don’t think he wants to go there!
If you are looking for a clean, well organized auto repair shop, this is it. As Ken tells you when you call, you don’t need an appointment, just come by and they will help you or get your auto working again. Ken did just that for me and I haven’t seen the service engine light named Henry because it has been on so long it’s almost part of the family since it was in Dave’s Shop.

Had to get an emergency water pump replacement during a move to Tucson, Arizona. This place was GREAT! They worked overtime to help us get back on the road quickly and our temperature gauge hasn’t moved past halfway since the repairs. Great customer service and quality work.

Courteous and competent service for a fraction of what the dealer wanted to charge. Owner is eager to maintain quality ratings at economical cost.

Had to get some radius arm bushings replaced, and wanted to install some rear coil over shocks on my 93 Explorer. Got quoted for 2.5 hours, and they were willing to install my parts instead of having to order through them.
Ken stayed communicative throughout the whole process, even when the shop got busy; this was important when the job started taking longer than expected to finish. Four hours, a specialist call in, and a few tense hammering sounds later, my bushings were in and my shocks were on.
I was surprised when I found out the bill stayed so close to the original quote! They never charged for a minute they weren’t actively touching the truck.
Truly impressed by the level of integrity and the reasonable prices of this shop. I will most likely come to them for all my future work.

The owner is an awesome guy. He took care of our over heated car and replaced the parts straight from the dealership on a Saturday. He took action right away and got the job done in 3 hrs. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs the job done right away.

DAVE’s is THE BEST because he is both skilled at his trade and very, very HONEST. Years ago we took our car to Dave when he was at a different location because we thought we needed new brakes. After he thoroughly checked our car he told us «no charge» for brake repair because they were in good shape. Remembering his honesty, we tracked him down again several months ago at his new location so he could look at our other cars and we were SO happy to find him. As expected, he has been knowledgeable, prompt, fair and HONEST. We won’t go to anyone else.

It’s a really good place; clean, prices are reasonable, excellent customer service. Dave’s took care of my car repair, and explained me very well what’s needed to b fixed.

Got an oil change, spark plugs and fuel filter done here and waited a couple of weeks to review to ensure all turned out well. The job was done conveniently for me (I left the car and picked it up before closing).
Dave and his father were very nice and professional and evaluated everything I asked him to. They even ensured I had rides as I needed and his father picked me up to bring me to the shop at one point.
I called around on pricing and Daves met or beat the other comparable repair shops.
