Danka K. Michaels, MD

I have been a patient of Dr, Michaels for about 9 years and have been very happy with her. We have a good relationship together and she haves always taken very good care of me as a patient and looked out for my well being and for my husband. It is hard in Las Vegas to find a Dr. that will listen to you and be patient with you and understand when you are going threw difficult times.

Rude, acts superior to everyone and I am more educated, yet do not need to allow my insecurities to overcompensate as she does. Interrupts constantly when responding to a query. over medicates, does not ever arrive at a diagnosis, does not know what tests last conducted when viewing the char in front of her! No people skills whatsoever, and gosh help you if you are confused by her explanation that just doesn’t make sense. She will raise her voice, «What is the question»!!
Beware, she is really not sound. Remember, you can graduate medical school as a «D» student. Seek out at least the «B», if not possible to find the «A» graduate. It speaks volumes in practice.

Dr Michaels was my doctor until 2007 when I moved to CO with my husband who was military at the time. After several years of enduring treatment with miltary doctors who rushed you and acted like you were wasting their time by being there, I knew when we came home to Vegas, Dr Michaels would be my PCP again. She has always been patient, she listens to you, and it feels like she cares about you as a patient. The office staff has always been friendly and efficient. And there is a Quest lab in office for added concenience. I would recommend this office to anyone in Vegas, as I know good medical care is in fact difficult to find here.

My husband and I have been coming here for 3 years. Front Office staff is rude. I called for an appointment and without giving her the day she cut me off n said they were booked. Back office girls always commented on how we are always there… they shouldn’t be making comments like that. Obviously if we’re always there there’s something wrong with our health. How insensitive. Every visit they collect a copay… but the next visit they’ll say we were behind n collect again. I would not recommend this place.

Dr. Michaels gives the best care available. I have been a patient of her’s for over 10 years and she treats 4 generations of my family. I moved from the Las Vegas area 3 years ago and still fly in for my bi-​annual check ups as I trust her explicitly. She is thorough, caring an very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a no nonsense doctor she is IT. She tells it as it is and expects you to follow through on her instructions. No sugar coating just true expert medical advice. If you can’t handle the truth don’t bother, but if true efficient medical care is what you are looking for she is the ONE. Her associates also share her integrity. You won’t be disappointed.

Dr Michael’s is a great doctor. I have been seeing her for four years and she and her PA Roberto are both gems.

What a complete disappointment! She did nothing to help me with what I came in for. Ordered a bunch of tests & prescriptions, she disputed my symptoms, and when I told her I didn’t want medication she kept pushing me to take it.
