5 stars it not enough to give Dave and D&R House of Diamonds! I wish I could give them 20! I was given Dave’s information from my boss, and I wish I would have known about them so much sooner. I went to Dave to Dave to help with my wedding ring, I had a chipped diamond, and needed the rings dipped and sautered. Not only did Dave take the time to explain a few facts about gold, platinum, etc. to me, he also helped me do all of the work to my ring at a very great price. I was told by another local, very big jewelry company that they could fix my ring, only the diamond for a similar amount, but my ring would be gone for at least 2 months overseas. This was because they would have to locate the manufacturer, so it could take longer that that. I got my ring back and so beautiful, from Dave is about a week. Again, I wish I would have known about them sooner, but I know who my «go to» jeweler is going forward, and I will refer them to anyone I know looking for jewelry! Thank you again, Dave!

Dave (one of the owners) is both a miracle worker and a life-​saver.
After going to almost every jeweler in the city. Looking through endless cases of rings. Listening to the same sales pitches. My fiancé’ and I discovered the one jeweler to rule them all.
I’m engaged to the most wonderful woman in the world. A woman who knows EXACTLY what she wanted for her engagement ring. No compromise and I wouldn’t want her to. I’m sure every woman would understand. And the end result is that she got EXACTLY what she wanted and then some. It is PERFECT.
We found D&R through the stellar Unilocal reviews. I don’t know about you but I can be skeptical at times when someone has 5 stars across the board. In this instance it is completely deserved and true.
D&R is located in a super-​modern, upscale office building smack dab in the middle of downtown Summerlin. There are no cheesy salesmen or pressure. It’s just Dave and a dozen or so hand-​picked ring displays in a private show-​room.
It really feels like you’re sitting down with a friend or family when you talk to him. Not only does he listen to what you want to achieve but there is a cutting edge video and rendering system for you to see EXACTLY what the ring will look like. Me typing this here doesn’t do the system justice. It blew me away.
He was able to show us the design (based upon what my fiancé’ wanted), show what it would look like on her hand, and I could just see her face light up. After all the time we spent dealing with ‘other’ jewelers. I couldn’t believe it. Dave did it and it was absolutely what she wanted.
To top it off he was able to get it done before a trip to see my future mother-​in-​law and it made the holiday beyond perfect.
I see her looking at the ring all the time and just smiling to herself. People compliment her on it everywhere we go. It’s something I can see will make her happy for the rest of her life. And I truly have D&R Diamonds (especially Dave) to thank for that.

We met Dave at a bridal show when we were preparing for our wedding and it was the best connection we made at that show. Dave helped us with our wedding bands, appraisals, and designed a custom ring for us that is beyond gorgeous. Every transaction has been smooth, honest and professional. I stumbled upon D&R House of Diamonds on Unilocal,and based on the reviews I knew I had found the place to purchase an engagement ring. I set up a consultation with Dave for the following day, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I came to him with fairly specific ideas for the ring design and diamond shape, and we worked together to come up with a truly unique engagement ring. In the 40+ years of his career, Dave said this was the only diamond of this shape he’s ever sold (it’s a kite shape).
This was the first jewelry purchase of my life, and Dave made me extremely comfortable. He took the time to explain to me the different types of metals, how they are made, their characteristics, and basic care and repair needs, as well as information that each person should take into consideration when purchasing a diamond (cuts, clarity, etc).
Once we came to agreement on the design, Dave set off to find the perfect stone. In less than a week he had a stone shipped to his offices and it was absolutely perfect. He called me in to check them out, and sent them off to his master jeweler to create the ring. Staring with the consultation to the day I picked up the ring, I’d say it was a total of 25 – 30 days. For how specific my needs were, this was WAY faster than expected and hoped for.
Dave made an extremely nerve wracking purchasing experience seem like a trip to the grocery store. I had to be fairly sneaky about this so most of our conversations were held in person and via text. The price was extremely fair, and possibly even lower than what it should be considering rings I’ve seen at a similar price point that look pretty bland. I highly, highly recommend D&R House of Diamonds for all of you jewelry needs.

I first met Rich at the Las Vegas Business Expo. From the get go, Rich was personable and genuinely interested in helping me find the perfect engagement ring. My boyfriend and I then set up an appointment to meet with Rich. The first meeting was purely education. Rich spend over an hour talking to us about the four C’s and what each category meant in terms of finding me the perfect engagement ring and staying within our budget! But what is truly great about Rich and D&R House of Diamonds is that he never once asked us what our occupations where or what our budget was. He was interested in finding out what I wanted in an engagement ring. That was his only priority. After we got the educational tutorial, my boyfriend and I were better able to assess our budget and how important each of the C’s were in finding that perfect diamond.
The second and third meeting with Rich is when he showed us the diamonds. This was the most fun out of the entire experience! Other jewelry stores take this away from the experience because all their rings are pre-​set! You can’t see all aspects of the diamond. Or play with the diamonds.
He walked us through each diamond, let us oogle them, hold them, touch them, and look at them through the microscope. He let us take our time in inspecting each diamond. While we have no idea what we are looking for, it made us feel comfortable. Through the entire process, Rich stayed within our budget. He NEVER once tried to up-​sell us or show us diamonds outside our price range.
What’s great about Rich is that he is completely honest with you. He encouraged us to go to other diamond stores and look around to see what was out there in the market. His promise is that he will beat any price for quality out there. We shopped around at other vendors and we knew that Rich was the real deal. Other vendors were pushy and claimed that each ring was «the one.» Rich showed you options while respecting your budget and opinions.
Rich found the perfect pear shaped diamond for my engagement ring and I couldn’t be happier! It is beautiful. My boyfriend and I will be going back for my wedding band and for the groom’s ring.

I wanted to find the perfect engagement ring for the perfect woman. She loves animals and I came up with the idea of a pawprint ring set. The heart would be the engagement ring, and the paw pads would be the wedding ring, creating a complete pawprint.
The next objective was finding a place that would be able to pull it off. I’m so glad I stopped by and talked to Dave at D and R Diamonds. He helped me design the ring and went through countless heart shaped and oval diamonds to find the perfect ones. He made the experience fun, creative, and easy. They’ve even polished her ring a couple of times for us. The cool thing about it is, nobody has a ring exactly like it. It’s uniquely hers.
The cost also didn’t have us starting out our new life together with financial difficulties. In fact we also got my ring custom made, and it is AWESOME as well.

About 3 or 4 months ago my boyfriend had brought me to D and R house of diamonds to look at engagements rings. I am very picky and wanted to make sure that I was going to LOVE a big purchase my boyfriend was about to make. Dave and Rich were very professional, welcoming, and truly cared about finding the perfect ring for me. They were very patient and let me try on multiple styles and settings. After trying on about 5 – 10 different rings I found the one I wanted! My boyfriend told Dave and Rich he would be in contact with them soon and we left! Dave at D&R is the best. I came to him last year for the engagement ring for my fiancé and he made the perfect ring. Spent hours with me designing it and explained more to me about diamonds than the other 4 places combined I went before coming to him. Now we are getting married in 2 weeks and Dave helped us with out wedding bands. Dave made the wedding band to match perfectly to my fiancés engagement ring. To start off, I initially went to the old location about 6 months ago in search of someone who could assist me with a question I had about a piece of jewelry I owned. Both guys were nice and informative and they didn’t charge me anything to look at it and answer my questions. Upon being there they informed me about their business and how it saves their clients money and how it’s worked for them for so many years. I mentioned that I would be looking for diamond earrings in the next year or so and would keep them in mind.
Well, fast forward 8 months and I Unilocaled «diamonds» and saw them again. So I called and spoke w Dave about what I wanted. He was very informative while not being pushy at all, in fact he helped me scale down certain criteria he thought I didn’t need to waste my money on. Two days later he had 4 pairs of diamond earrings for me to look at in their office. He showed them all to me without saying anything about price, or quality so my eyes could do the judging. After telling him my favorite he told me his two favorites. No where in this process was I pushed into something pricier or encouraged to get something bigger. He gave me honest advice the whole way in how he would steer his «sister» if she were purchasing. The two things I noticed the most from my experience with Jewelers was one, he didn’t ask what my budget was. He asked what I would like and delivered that with the confidence that his prices would be competitive (and they were) and two, he didn’t ask what my husband and I did for a living. My pet peeve in sales is when they ask you what job you do like it should qualify you to spend like a maniac if you have a good paying job.
At no point did I feel like Dave was a «salesman.» He felt more like a friend who had an «in» with good prices on diamonds and passed that on to me. I am very happy I stumbled upon D and R and HIGHLY recommend. I can’t wait for my earrings to be set! Thank you Dave and D and R!!!

First and foremost, Dave was one of the most professional and welcoming jewelers I have met. He takes the time to understand what you want, what your expectations are, and explains what he can provide. If you’re buying diamonds like we were, he took the time to explain everything in detail and answer all our questions. I would recommend making an appointment to meet with them and I HIGHLY recommend going to Dave for all your fine jewelry.
As a side note, they are not a retail store within the shopping area. Rather, they are setup like an office situated in one of the buildings. I actually like this because you get a more personal, private, and one-​on-​one experience with your jeweler. Finding the place is a little tricky, but you’ll get directions when you make your appointment.
