Children’s Bone & Spine Surgery is the only exclusive pediatric orthopedic surgery practice in Nevada. The surgeons take great pride in their ability to not only diagnose and treat patients, but also to give children the opportunity to experience life without physical restrictions and deformity.

Children’s Bone & Spine Surgery was established in 2001 with the goal of providing an uncompromising standard of excellence to the families of Southern Nevada in their chosen field of pediatric orthopedic and scoliosis surgery.

CBS is an equal partnership between its three surgeons:

Dr. Jonathan Camp is fellowship trained in the areas of pediatric orthopedic surgery and scoliosis treatment at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. In 1990, he moved to LV as the only pediatric orthopedic surgeon in Nevada.

Dr. David Stewart is fellowship trained in pediatric orthopedic and scoliosis surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. CHLA is rated as one of the two largest centers for both pediatrics spine surgery and pediatric orthopedic oncology in the United States. Dr. Stewart is trained in scoliosis surgery, fracture care, and general pediatric orthopedics.

Dr. Nielson completed the only pediatric and adolescent orthopedic sports medicine fellowship in the U.S.A. at Harvard’s Children’s Hospital. He is the only orthopedic surgeon in Nevada with a sub-​specialty practice in pediatric and adolescent sports related injuries, including acute and overuse injuries in young athletes, dancers and children
