Centennial Hyundai

Brought my 2012 Elantra 80K miles in Saturday afternoon.
Monday they called and said it needed a starter. REALLY? The factory battery lasted longer than the starter?! I’ve got Chevys with over 150K and never put a new starter OR fuel injector (see next issue) in them. Thought a Hyundai was reliable?
So, they couldn’t get a starter in town… haha…I told them Autozone could get me one… they said they couldn’t warranty it… Let’s see what the Hyundai warranty is, cause the Autozone starter (155 $ vs dealers 357 $) comes with a LIFETIME warranty… anyhow, I called Tuesday night to pick it up and it wasn’t ready… Then they call Wednesday and say the car stumbles when it has been sitting and you go to start it. THAT WAS THE ISSUE WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN !! Needs new injector… UGH !!! I’ll just take it home and put an injector in myself, RIGHT BEFORE I DUMP THIS POS… Figures right after 60K service and warranty expiration, this HYUNDAI starts crapping out… AND, what’s with 50K/​5 yr or 100K/​10yr warranty? Who puts only 10k on a year? It’s a subliminal gimmick to make you think the car will last awhile.
Do yourselves a favor people, BUY American… They are just as «reliable» and they support the american economy…
Disappointed in Hyundai…

I make a point to review positively since Negative reviews are more common than positive, but my experience with Hyundai Centennial… Awful.
First visit– first impression of car salesman, complete slob. I don’t expect you to «dress to the nines» but a clean shirt would be good. When I’m buying a car I don’t need sob stories about how bad you need this sale so you can put food on the table.
Second visit– Hyundai had to be towed to location due to a system fail. They ordered the wrong part. Waited three days. Refused to find a loaner car.
Third visit– six months later my Hyundai had the same issue as before. Obviously not fixed. Asked to speak with the director of maintenance. He never came out to speak with us. Took it to another Hyundai dealership. Who are far above and beyond better than this location
Centennial dealerships just don’t seem to be up to par. We bought a Mazda as well. Our experience their wasn’t too good either.
We bought a Hyundai from Bryan (who I think is at the Henderson location now) at Hyundai of Las Vegas located on Sahara. They are awesome! Very professional. Very helpful. Very knowledgable.

I had a wonderful experience with the guys and gals at Centennial Hyundai last month. So wonderful, in fact, I can say with 100% confidence that my next car will be a Hyundai from Centennial, too.
I have been shopping around for cars a lot the last year, in that all-​too-​common situation of having less than perfect credit and struggling to pay bills, student loans, save money, and improve credit (somehow). This time around, I had done a lot of homework. I knew my scores and I even carried folders with pay stubs and paperwork to each dealer in town. I did the smart thing and went to all the dealers I could in one day, so as to minimize the hard inquiry impact on my credit to 24 hours. The mistake I made was not listening to my mom when she told me over and over again, «Go to Hyundai.»
After my mom got divorced she had similar credit struggles, and knew she needed a new car and a new loan, to improve her score and her life. She was turned down by every major dealer, especially the domestics. She finally found refuge at a Hyundai in Chicago and has been driving them ever since, score now up over 720. Well, she was right. I was denied by dodge and Toyota without a cosigner and left Mazda basically running in fear of a shit deal and even more shit service. They honestly made me feel like I was tiny, insignificant, stupid, and worthless. Like being lied directly TO. In fifteen minutes. A career in hospitality, I still can’t explain to you how you can make someone feel so afraid of the «deal» you’re making them that they’d rather walk home than buy a car from you. Mazda.
So, end of the night I listened to my mom one last time and I headed over to Centennial Hyundai. Walked in the door and within 3 seconds had been greeted warmly by multiple members of the staff. Headed straight to the finance desk and laid it out. «Here’s my situation… I want to improve things for myself.» …not one minute in I’m cut off by the finance guru telling me not to worry, they will take care of me. As a female buyer, I felt instantly safe and knew these guys would help me out. And they did. I met Tom, a salesman who reminds you of an Uncle and treats you like family. He showed me multiple options and never once made me feel bad about my situation or my spending limit. He found me a beautiful 2013 Elantra with Bluetooth and less than 28,000 miles on it. Gorgeous. All I can say is it was the exact opposite of the Mazda experience, and so much more welcoming especially than the Prestige Dodge experience, too.
Tom and all the finance guys were able to get me a good loan on MY terms at a payment and down payment I could afford. They were always straight forward with me. They have been insanely informative and a huge help during the buying process. The finance process was simple, and when I left that night waiting for the bankers to finalize the deal in the AM, I even woke to a phone call from the finance manager himself telling me he had good news, he’d closed the deal and I was welcome to come by and pick up my beautiful new car whenever I wanted to. What great customer service. This was the guy who was there at 9pm making the deal for me, back at 7:30am finishing what he started.
The car runs great, friends are jealous (that’s the point right?), gets even better mpg than I had hoped, has a sizable warranty remaining, new tires, a clean interior, xm radio, and I have the knowledge that if I need anything at all, those guys will be there to help. They communicate well via voicemail or email if I’m busy at work, and have my green slip ready already. I’ll be back within the year to trade up and continue improving my credit. They made the process simple, and I feel the trust there is hard to come by in the dealership world. I was never a Hyundai fan before, and yet I don’t think I’ll buy anything but a Hyundai or from anywhere but centennial again. Thanks guys.

Service center is amazing. I went there for a 45k mile inspection, minus a tire rotation, oil change, or filter change because they were not needed. The gentleman there, Brian Zasloff, told me it’d be an hour to an hour 15. After an hour I walk up to the desk, he had my keys and I could see my car outside. He said my tires were at 50%, which is better condition than I thought. He gave me a quote on new tires, which was nice to know. They had done everything thing I asked, including a 34 point inspection, as well as a recall install on the shift cable clip for the transmission. So everything was good, then I walk outside and see my car that needed a wash, had been washed by the nice people at Centennial Hyundai. I spent nothing, but received a bit more peace of mind that my vehicle was in a great condition, and a free car wash. They didn’t have to be so awesome but they were. Great experience. Very happy I bought my vehicle from them. Thank you! If someone that works there reads this, please personally thank their service team.

Even though I did not want to buy a foreign car, these people were the only ones that I could get financed in for a reasonable monthly payment on a Hyundai Tuscon. When I returned a few days later, they couldn’t find any of my paperwork so had to start over again, except now they said that my payment would be over $ 600 per month. If I was going to pay $ 600 a month I certainly wouldn’t buy a Hyundai! So they offered me a used Chevy SUV which didn’t seem to be a bad deal at the time, However a month later I am not very happy with the car, it does not run very well, and smells ‘damp’ inside, but I am even more angry when I found out that I had to register it myself and pay yet another $ 500 to DMV for fees that I thought I had already paid to Centennial Hyundai. Buyer Beware of what you are signing and make sure you don’t get cheated out of all these ‘fees’…

Beware of this dealership!!!
Signs to look for: they need to keep your car, no call to update you, you have to call them instead. Next we will need to tear your engine apart because we can’t seem to find the source of the problem. Oh and it won’t be covered under your warranty. Red flag.
They want you to buy a new car.

Worst dealer ever. New dealership owner on Monday and horrendous customer service on Thursday. Took out a new Hyundai for a test drive. Within 10 min
s got pulled over. Salesman never put a dealer tag on car. We got a ticket. General manager Howard said he would only pay ticket if we bought a car. I don’t think so. We bought a new Toyota Highlander at another dealer.
The nerve of some people. Unbelievable. Will never go back there. They need to learn how to treat people who work hard for their money.

Just leased a 2016 Elantra. Amos Maly is the best salesman. He asked us what we wanted and had a GREAT deal for us in less than 15 minutes. The whole process was flawless. I would recommend this dealership and ESPECIALLY Amos!!!

I bought a 2005 Tucson and traded my old car as part payment, after they made the deal they found that my cars Title was salvaged that’s when they started to act as if I scammed them even though I had no knowledge of car I was trading had been salvaged, so the manager says we’re not going to honor your 2000 mile warranty, brought the car to my mechanic who told me the car needs belts badly, Hyundai and its team are full of shit and are liars, parts dept charges double, recommend different dealership, when I tried to work it out Spence told me to get off the property or else, once they have your money, it’s hit the road

Went to this specific location on two different days after seeing used cars online. Called about both cars before I went out to make sure they were there. On both occasions I was told yes they were on the lot to see. And on both trips after getting there the salesmen gave me the same B.S. about the car was set to the auction. First off why post cars online before knowing they are worthy of being sold to the public. No one wants to waste their time and day driving from one end of town to another to see something that isnt even there. These salesmen obviously have no business telling people cars are there when they really aren’t. Unorganized and messy when having to deal with there used cars. DONT post used cars for sell if you Don’t want to deal with selling them. I big waste of peoples time. Or maybe its time you make changes in that department. Definitely a place i will never go back to.

Friendly, professional and not pushy. Worked with Nigel (sales) and Josh (finance). Got the deal I wanted. I was called the next day and informed I could get a lower, in this case 0% interest rate. Just sign the new contract. They didn’t have to tell me that. I would never had known the difference. Very pleased and have already recommended them to others. Have been buying cars for 35 years and this is by far my best experience!

So I was at this dealership with a friend this weekend trying to get myself out of this negative equity that I got from The Chapman dealership where Lawrence Ennis dwells pillaging the innocent… I met with Rick in sales and Curtis the Sales manager. Both were pretty upfront about my situation and although I can’t afford to roll my negative equity in to a new car just yet, I know where to go when I’m ready to buy. thanks for being professionals and not predators.

Terrible service again. I was promised one thing and given another. I would never buy a car from this place again. Service is terrible. spence the manager is sales makes promises that he can’t keep.

We leased our first Hyundai from this dealership last night and I have to say it was a pleasant experience. I would rather get a root canal than purchase a car from a dealership, however this place has changed that. I wont go into all the details but I cannot say one negative thing about our visit, they were completely professional and even took time to make it fun for my 16 yr old daughter who we got the car for, this is her first car and the guy went over everything with her as if she was an adult. We were out of there start to finish in about 2 hours and this included test driving the Sonata and the Elantra. The deal we were given was completely transparent and fair. They even scheduled our leased car to have the windows tinted free of charge. Nice job guys, please keep doing what your doing!

The service department is always friendly and helpful. My car is ready when they say it will be and I have never had problems with any work they’ve performed on it.

Went car shopping on New Year’s Eve and found my beloved 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo. Had been to 4 – 5 other dealerships that day but so glad I ended up at Centennial. Was greeted by my salesman Charles, he was so helpful and knowledgeable. Had been looking for something full size but when I saw and drove the Veloster I fell in love! Heated leather seats! I previously owned a Chrysler 300 but my Veloster is real luxury. Hyundai has succeeded my expectations and the warranty is amazing! During the purchasing process I felt like Charles was looking out for my best interest and helped keep me within my budget with the car I wanted and no pressure. The financing guy also did what he had to so it would work for me. Overall very pleased with my experience at Centennial Hyundai. Would highly recommend asking for Charles. It has been over a year since I purchased my car and me and my boyfriend still get separate cards from Charles for birthdays AND Christmas. He’s awesome!

Went into Centennial Hyundai with my friend because she was looking to purchase a new car. We were fortunate enough to be greeted by Charles. Charles showed us many cars and was careful to stay within our budget. He also was very honest with us about the cars. My friend found a great car within her price range and it was a bargain. And even though I wasn’t shopping for a car at the time, I actually ended up buying a new car from Charles and Curtis (also very helpful) a few day later because I was able to get such a good price.
If you are looking for an honest sales person that you can trust who will get you a great price, Centennial Planet Hyundai is the place to go. Ask for Charles or Curtis and you will have a great car buying experience.

I leased my car through this dealer and my salesman Nigel was great and the process was smooth and easy. The problem was service. There was a few minor bubbles in the tint and they gladly repaired it for free. But after picking it up from service I noticed everything in my center console was stolen! I informed them and there resolution was to give me a free tank of gas (which was approximately the value of the merchandise). I will never use there service again! This is a horrible practice!
