Went in with a sore tooth that had cracked. Got right in same day. On-​line registration was helpful and a time saver. Great office staff throughout. I had to have a tooth pulled and was nervous but it was surprisingly quick, easy and pain free. Thank you!!!

Wonderful visit yesterday. Juliya did a wonderful job with my cleaning. She was very professional, friendly, and knowledgable. The entire staff was very polite. I will definitely be back.

Terrible dental practice… they don’t know how to bill insurance and it took 5 months to get a bill from a routine cleaning for my daughter when my son and husband went on the same day with her. They made up some BS excuse about not being in our network of providers. I work in health care and I know how claims get submitted and processed. I think the people that run this practice are either complete morons or filing fraudulent claims. Will NOT be going back.

My husband went to this office because it is close to our house and we had a good referral from our neighbor. He said Dr. Connolly really explained everything to him so he could understand. He also said the hygienist Brandy was very gentle and took the time to point out the areas he should focus on. He is excited to go back and see if those areas have improved. We will be making appointments for the whole family soon!

I went in for a root canal and came out all smiles! The front desk staff, the dental assistants and Dr. Hudson were all very nice and accomodating. I felt very comfortable there and the office manager Danielle was very informative about my costs and options. I will defintely recommend them to all of my friends and family.

I don’t know why it took me so long to write this review. One of the best visits to the dentist I have experienced. The front staff took the time to break down each procedure and the cost so I wasn’t taken by surprise when it came time to get the work done. I will be recommending this office to my friends.

Office Girl was very rude! This was regarding a promotion for your office. She needs to learn basic manners and say not interested instead of just hanging up the phone mid sentence but that’s what happens when you hire off a craigslist ad.

RIP-​OFF! !!! First time, I send my 20 year old daughter for a cleaning and I was told she will be there for an hour 30 to 2 hours… Well she called me in 20min after her app and she said that they didn’t do any cleaning, But they took a bunch of x-​rays and told her they needed to take her wisdom teeth out… I said What??? And they told her that she had a real good insurance, and that they didn’t have anyone qualified to do the cleaning… So I called and I was transferred to the manager name Danielle, I was asking her why they only did x-​rays and not her cleaning services and she said oh because we don’t have the staff at the moment, so I ask her, so you guys set the appoin. to do what? Oh well we got her x-​rays and all for now… me: oh so you guys can bill my insurance righ!
her: we you are not paying anything we are billing the insurance… I was so mad and the fact that she was smirking over the phone like I was stupid, well that was super RUDE !!! And she cover the phone to talk to someone alse while am talking to her… and
I called her on it, And she said yea yea am her listening… sure you are!!! Way to much at once I would NOT trust this office to do anything they don’t care for people all they want is your money and get you out. So unprofessional, I have never been treated this way in a dental office, me thinking it was in summerland Yea ok!!!

Dr. Connolly is great with his patients. He takes the time and attention needed to explain things to his patients. The staff is very nice as well. Although I have experienced some sticker shock on estimated services during my visits, I haven’t had any unreasonable check-​out bills that weren’t well explained and worthy of the investigate in my healthcare and/​or smile.
The only complaint is that I have had three different hygienists in the last three visits. I definitely think they should either ask if you wish to stay with your previous hygienist or, if they left, inform you that your hygienist no longer works with them.
The office is clean. They are all digital and computerized. They have in-​office services and out-​of-​office services depending on what your needs or preferences are.

I have been to many dental practices in my life and this office is so professionally ran words cannot suffice. After having a long bad day the last thing I wanted to do was go to the dentist, upon my arrival I run into this bright shining star of a women named Danielle. Being uneducated and confused on my paperwork and next steps to take on this long path of fixing my teethe Danielle came to my rescue smiling brighter than ever happily to assist me through all my trials and tribulations. My cleaning was smooth and painless but more importantly the women at the front desk just made my day. Usually feeling like dental offices are as monotonous as a metronome this one is on the contrary. I will definitely be back to visit this office and I know that my smile will be intact thanks to Danielle and it will be bright thanks to the dentists.

As the son of a deceased dentist, I am very opinionated of my dental treatment.
I find it unprofessional of a dental office to not notify the patient before rendering services of the costs involved, stating that insurance should cover most of it and when insurance does not cover most of it, the patient is stuck with an outrageously overpriced bill for services rendered. Unprofessional business practice!
Additionally, this dental office charges at least twice the amount what other local dental offices charge for same services. e.g., crowns, fillings, deep root cleaning, etc.
My father was a dentist and I grew up among the ins/​outs of the dental industry and know quite a bit that the average patient does not in terms of behind the scenes billing criteria, decisions, pricing, waiving bs fees, etc. I highly recommend OTHER dental offices opposed to this one!

Oh well! I guess it was too good to be true. I started referring people here and it appears now that their prices have increased. I referred my fiancée and he just went for an exam and xrays. NO CLEANING… JUST EXAM AND XRAYS and his total billed charges were $ 564.00. REALLY!!! That is insane! Now we have to find another dentist.

Without a doubt THE finest dental care experience I have ever received in my life.
This week, I had both major dental surgery here and received a denture, and I have to say — without any reservations — that the team at Canyon Pointe Dental is the most impressive, kindest, most patient-​focused group of dental professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Before a few months ago, I had never even heard of this place, but when my historically weak and fragile teeth (a trait I inherited, unfortunately) were at the (literal) breaking point, I knew I needed help.
On a recommendation, I decided to try Canyon Pointe Dental… and WOW! I was blown away from my first visit by both the professionalism and the TLC I received from every last member of the staff here. Seriously, it was so professional, so patient-centered…that I had to pinch myself.
As a person who’s never had strong teeth, I’ve seen far more than my fair share of dentists and dental offices, let me tell you. And so many of them fall short of an «optimal patient experience.» Other Vegas dentists seem more concerned with their bottom line as opposed to providing top-​notch care, but not here…
Where others fall short, Canyon Pointe Dental Group excels.
What struck me immediately about the staff at Canyon Pointe Dental is how patient, how caring, they are. Seriously, folks. From the moment I first walked in the door, they knew I needed help, and they gave it to me. My teeth were crumbling, and I needed a professional, affordable solution — fast.
Cindy, the super-​kind, always-​friendly, always-​on-​top-​of-​things receptionist, greeted me and explained what my first appoint would comprise, and I felt at home.
Then, the über-​professional and very friendly Danielle explained my payment options, including what my insurance would cover and my options (as a freelancer who’d just purchased Obamacare) for covering my portion of the bill. She’s always been willing to talk to me on the phone, explain the options further, or answer any dumb questions I had. A kinder, smarter, more expert dental professional you will not find.
Then I got to meet my new dentist, Dr. Mike Mitchell. Wow. This guy is a pro from the get-​go. Incredibly nice and approachable, incredibly well-​informed on all my treatment options, and endlessly patient enough to explain things when I repeated earlier questions or needed dental advice, Dr. Mitchell is perhaps THE most professional (and nicest!) dentist I’ve ever met. This man CARES about his patients, and he spends the time necessary to ensure his patients understand their treatment. Personally engaging, quick with a smile and a hearty laugh, Dr. Mitchell instantly puts you at ease. For once, you feel you’ve got a patient advocate in your corner — and how amazing it is in the age of health-​care horror stories that the patient advocate turns out to be your dentist. Yes, he’s THAT great.
Also an indispensable member of the team is Monique, the incredibly nice technician who guided me through my X-​rays and through a number of general dental questions I had for her. Monique reminds me of one of those veteran nurses in ER/​trauma units. The kind who has her ear cocked for anything, who’s got both eyes out for her patients (always), and who knows how to cut through any BS and give it to you straight. Monique is amazing at her job, and I found her to be incredibly connected to patients. What an outstanding member of the Canyon Pointe Dental Group team. Monique, you rock…
Finally, there’s Dr. Steve Huang, the surgeon who performed my operation and who’s absolutely stunning in terms of both his talent for surgery and for his ability to relate to patients and put them at ease before such a serious procedure. Dr. Huang bounced into the room, was obviously confident (and deservedly so), and immediately began to talk to me about what he was going to do. Surgeons often get a bad rap for being incapable of defining (or understanding) bedside (or, in this case chairside) manner, but not Dr. Huang. After talking to this man for a few brief minutes, I felt confident he was a pro and would be watching out for me the entire time.
The operation went flawlessly, and my denture was «installed» without any problems. I can now smile at the world without embarrassment, thanks to these great people. And I feel so much better about myself (my confidence has returned), thanks to Canyon Pointe Dental Group.
Today, I had my first follow-​up appointment with Dr. Mitchell, and again, he was absolutely on top of my situation and was there to answer a number of questions about the denture. And he put me at ease while doing so. What a guy.
I’ve spent years in dentists’ chairs throughout my entire life. To find a group of dental professionals who care about their patients and treat them like family is rare.
If this is the kind of dental care you need, run (don’t walk) to Canyon Pointe Dental Group.

I probably should have written this a while ago. I had two fillings done here about 6 months ago. I believe one was completely unnecessary.
I pointed out a tooth that was sensitive and the Dr said it had a pocket in it so it needed to be filled. I figured that was fine.
Over the last few months I have noticed some things; the tooth I pointed out was not the one filled. The one that was filled was filled poorly and now it hurts as well.
I’m not sure why he filled the front tooth if it didn’t need it, but I wont assume anything scandalous.
The one star is specifically for this reason (and is reinforced by my suspicions); the filling on the front tooth was done very poorly and is not smooth. He left a notch on the front of my tooth I could cut dental floss with. It also causes me pain to floss it.

Experience: Very Good
Dentist (Dr. Connolly): Amazing. Works fast and accurate. Takes the time to explain everything.

Notes: Kinda hesitant to give off the charts review because that would mean, people will know how great this dental office is… thus, making it crowded and busy. Haha! Will keep on coming back!

Hands down I would recommend anyone to go to Dr. Connolly… he is a fantastic dentist… just got 3 fillings replaced from my childhood. I hesitated doing it — but glad I did. Went from 3 amalgam fillings with silver to 3 composites. Took maybe a bit over an hour… happy with the time it took — quick, great quality, friendly. put me at ease. No matter… I keep referring Dr. Connolly — I so lucked out moving to Las Vegas and randomly finding him. Call — go see him — you won’t be disappointed.

I got excellent dental care from beginning to end. Dr Connolly and Beverly (hygienist) are terrific and the staff is professional and welcoming.

Dr Connelly and his staff are 100% on point. The appointment process was a breeze, and everyone was extremely helpful and thorough. Beyond thankful I found this office and will be bringing in my 10 yr old for her routine cleanings.

I want to write a heartfelt review and thank my wonderful dental doctor Staci Garner for her professionalism, experties, and most of all her kindness.
I was getting a quote for more than $ 10,000.00 from another doc at Dental Image on Sahara, who was trying to rip me off. I feel so fortunate that I came to her and got a second opinion. It turned out the other doctor was telling me lies about my dental condition, and Dr. Garner fixed everything for me for merely $ 700. I wouldn’t say that I love to get my mouth poked, however the experience was as pleasant as it gets for a dental visit. Dr. Garner also upgraded my crown for free, and offered a free of charge night guard replacement after I get my braces. Well, I think finally I have come to a dental doctor who is there for the passion of her profession, and her patients’ well being.
Everybody at this dental office is so friendly. Dr. Garner also has a wonderful assistant, Brandon, who really knows his stuff, and makes me feel at home every time I am there.

The best dentist office I have ever visited. All the modern advantages to provide maximum efficiency and comfort. I am completely impressed.
I moved to a new part of town last May and tried to keep my old dentist at Absolute Dental at Cheyenne and Durango. Last August I went for a cleaning and was disappointed at how much things had gone down hill. I decided to change dentists. Without a better strategy I simply chose the one closest to my new home, which was Canyon Pointe.
The new patient documents were available online. Kept me from having to come in half an hour prior to my appointment. Conveniently located near Costco. Clean, modern office with friendly staff. Receptionist walked me through check-​in unsung electronic documents. I did not use it but, they had a desktop in the lobby for patients.
Did not wait long. Friendly radiologist led me to x-​ray machine. I told her that my old dentist emailed my x-​rays. I know because they copied me on the email. She said they did not have them. I am guessing they wanted to bill for that service and discarded the email.
They shuffled me into another room and we began. The technician took photos of my teeth. The images and x-​rays were right there in front of me on a screen for me and my dentist to see. A male dentist, I’m guessing Korean, came in within a few minutes. He was friendly, fast, and gentle. Technician finished with a polish that smelled and tasted like raspberries.
I liked the music and the place even smelled good. Clean, friendly, and modern. What’s not to like. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but this was the best dentistry experience I have had. Give it a try.
