Camden Cove

I needed an apartment within days because of my move to Las Vegas for new job .
I have seen many places and experienced different management .
I will just say that Valerie is probably one out of 20 managers from communities that I visited actually worked with me, she called and followed and truly tried to help me !
The location is great (I work on the Strip) the apartment is beautiful, pool is beautiful and the price is right .
Unfortunately I ended up living in Henderson because if a huge balcony I found for my cat and convenience of the shops next to me so my mom can walk to them (she doesn’t drive)
I thank Valerie for her time and you should really explain your needs to her because she will do whatever is in her power to find you a happy home !

I have lived here for over a year and I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can move.
I paid extra for a 1BR with a pool view and it has been a constant nightmare.
This place is corporate owned and run to the bone. The only thing they care about from the tenants is getting their money.
There has been nothing but constant construction noise outside my bedroom window. I work nights and no matter how much I complain about the leaf blowers and chainsaws (yes, chainsaws) that regularly begin at the illegal hour of 7am, nothing ever changes. The management team changed earlier this year and the new management is rarely there and you get the feeling anything you say is going in one ear and out of the other.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Vegas I would suggest spending a little more for an apartment community with a gate because we get the homeless wandering through our community here at Camden Cove, regularly digging through dumpsters and once last year I had to report a homeless person who had broken into the pool area and was masturbating in the hot tub. No lie.
The apartments are nice and modern and clean but the management here don’t run the place with tenants’ best interests but rather they do as little as possible so they can leave to go home.

This place is rotting and infested. For the same price you can live in such a nicer location.

This place is bad, really bad. First morning I wake up to a roach so I step on it. Next night I see a huge roach in my bathroom. After they come in and spray, I keep finding both water bugs and dead roaches. Just great. Something was leaving poop or scales on my red couch. Oh and when I was moving out I found two piles of black mold. I only stayed 4 weeks and I kept wondering what the black stuff was on the floor in the mornings. I finally realized the large black areas under the bathroom sink were piles of black powder when I took something out from under there and placed it on the floor, then picked it up to pack it and here was the black powder on the floor. Also, it is in a depressed bad neighborhood with panhandlers with signs and folks at the store using EBT cards and if you walk on foot and are female, men pull up their cars and expect you will get in. Also, my apartment faced a parking lot where everyone drove out and was facing right into my 3 windows so I ended up having to keep the blinds closed so it is very dark all the time. The area around the dumpster was so dirty and I saw a guy out there dumpster diving and he looked like he was on drugs. Then I saw someone left milk and mayo they took out of the dumpster there to take with them. I found roaches outside on my patio, in my kitchen, livingroom and bathroom. I could not eat, did not want to cook as it would attract more roaches and I could not sleep, had to keep the light on. What a mess. I went in there because the online reviews are so good but I think now that someone who works there puts the 5 star one line reviews in there to get people to rent online. that is a terrible place all the way around and I don’t understand why anybody stays there. Everyone looks upset, unhappy and suspicious of other people. What a mess.

Renting from them was fine it was moving out that was an issue. I gave notice, told them I had to break my lease early, left a forwarding address and they said they would mail me a final bill. I never received a final bill and what I got instead was a collections notice about a month and a half after moving out saying I owed them $ 2000 dollars. No bill, no payment arrangement for the remainder of my lease, just straight to collections. Since I moved to another state it would have cost me more than two grand to take the collection off of my credit score, which incidentally inhibits my ability to rent again. They also lost any record of my deposit because their management was incompetent or their sister property which slacked off on roof repairs and cause me to lose half my furniture was incompetent. If you rent from them, keep every receipt and every bill and as much evidence as possible because they will make your life difficult once you leave.
