Scott M.

Business Owner

Scott was born with a wrench in his hand! He started at the age of 15 dealing with auto parts. By his 20’s he worked for a Porsche restoration shop, followed by a VW performance shop. He moved to Las Vegas in 2003 working at a local VW shop for two years. During this time, Scott started drag racing a 1984 VW Rabbit (JAKRABIT), making 600 HP!

By 2006 Blacksheep Performance was born. It started out as mainly a VW and Audi shop that has gone through transformations resulting in BSR Automotive. Scott now does restoration, rebuilts, and performance of all makes and models, including some personal Resto-​Mods and Rat-​Rods!

I came to BSR frustrated and nearly out of options. I needed a roof rack installed on my old Dodge van, and it was a tricky job. Had taken the van to 4 other auto body shops around town, and was either quoted a ridicoulous estimate or told that it wasn’t doable. BSR got the work done in 1 day, did a bang up job, and charged me an extremely fair price. On top of that, the guys at the shop were pleasant, professional, and even funny. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest mechanic/​fabricator.

Mike and Scott run a professional, and honest car repair shop. They saved me money with their expertise and ingenuity. I have a classic Mazda RX7 and parts are getting hard to find. They were able to modify the existing part that I had assumed would need replacement. I would take my car to them for any repairs I need. Thanks, Guys!
