BRL’s Windows & Doors

My husband and I have a rental that was broken into and we called BRL the morning after the incident. They showed up at 8:00 am (my husband called them at 7:30 am) and not only gave us some incredible advice to deter criminals, but fixed the door and fixed the flaws from the door being kicked in. And the best part is they charged us a FAIR price (too fair maybe). Everyone we talked to at the company was so friendly and helpful it made a bad situation feel a little better knowing the good that’s out there. We definitely recommend these folks.

We had a patio sliding door replaced by BRL doors and the door is actually better than the sales rep described. The installation was what was promised, fast, expert and with quality materials. The installers had the door in and adjusted perfectly on time and then spent all the time we needed to explain the doors features and answer all of our questions. We are very pleased with every step in this purchase and every person we had contact with. This company is a keeper and we will do business with them again.

This place was awesome! I had a home invasion and my front door was kicked in. I needed it replaced ASAP! The gentleman that answered the phone was kind and courteous and let me know that he could get someone out to assess the damage within an hour or so. Wayne was there within a couple hours and assessed the damage. He made good suggestions and would have done the repairs to secure the door right then if I didn’t have to wait for Metro to come investigate (which they never did). Anywho, Wayne gave me an estimate and told me to call him once metro was with their report. Several hours later, metro called and took my report. I then called Wayne and he was at my house within a half hour to make the repairs so that the door would be secure overnight. The next day I received a call saying that a door was ready for me and could be installed whenever I was ready. Wayne again came over with his hilarious work buddy and they quickly installed the new door with no problem! I am so thankful they were able to respond so quickly and made me feel at ease through the whole process. It was a shame my home was broken into but I am thankful I found such a great company to work with. If I ever have any door or window needs in the future I’m definitely going to BRL!

These guys are probably the best in Las Vegas for doors. I had multiple door frames adjusted, weatherstripping done, and parts replaced on existing doors and both Wayne and Paul did quality work, their prices were reasonable and they are trustworthy. We’re planning to eventually replace our back sliding door and will use BRL for that job as they were the ONLY door/​window business that I can trust to do what they say they’re going to do. I got quotes from multiple other door/​window outfits in Las Vegas and was not at all impressed by the service or price offered by the others. Go with BRL, save yourself the headache.

Super efficient! They are coming to measure my doors and gave me answers others wouldn’t answer over the phone. I’ll update you on the outcome but I feel like I have found a great company for my rentals! Also I’m having them give me a bid on my French doors.

Got burglarized and thieves broke my glass inset door. Wayne came out, did a quick estimate and was able to fit me in for a repair same day. Installers were awesome! They cleaned up all the glass from the floor and outside the door. They even fixed the alignment of my lock with the door jam to make sure everything was working perfect with my door. I highly recommend them and would use them in the future.

After reading about this company here on Unilocal I decided to contact them for a window project we are planning to do. I initially spoke to Mike to schedule an appointment for an estimate. He said someone would get back to me that day or the next. After not hearing from anyone after a day or two I called back and spoke to a woman there who apologized and said someone would call me the next day. After another day of waiting with no call back I called again and again after apologies was told that someone would call me back. The next day I was finally contacted and an appointment was set for the next day (Friday). The gentleman called a few hours later to reschedule and we agreed to have him come at 10am Saturday. The guy did not show up. After waiting around a few hours I called them and they sent someone down to take measurements. I was told I would be called back shortly with a quote. I was called back a few hours later and was told they would need an asbestos test performed and if it came back positive would need to pay to have it removed before they would do the work (none of the four other companies I had come out mentioned this at all). It just seemed as though because the job were difficult they did not want to do it, all of these older houses do indeed have asbestos in them unfortunately and I am sure they know this. I still asked for the quote either way and they didn’t bother to get back to me with it after almost a week. If you A: Value a timely response or B: have an older home, then this might not be the best company to contact for your window project. Getting these guys to get back to me on an estimate/​quote has been quite painful, I had a much better time with all of the other companies I have contacted and had come out for estimates.

Where do I start.
I couldn’t be more happy with my entire experience with BRL. I am so happy I could use a local business rather than a big box store and see what a business that cares about its reputation is all about.
My wife and I bought a forty year old house with single pane windows and doors with huge gaps and frames cracked. We replaced every window and every door in the house, including a front door they specially fabricated for us. The quality of the work was impeccable. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Bob was always available and honest up front about price and the timing of the job etc. I wish they did all home services, I wouldn’t need to call anyone else. I never write reviews, but this one was well deserved!

After reading many reviews here, I had the personal pleasure of speaking to Mike, concerning a window that cracked and I wanted to get it replaced. After giving him the details, (windstorm and my window cracked) he referred me to another company who would be better suited to complete the job as a «window replacement was not needed». According to Mike, I needed a glass replacement. Who knew? I almost can’t believe companies with integrity still exist today. I almost wanted to order a window anyways through this company just because of the outstanding business practices they utilized here. I’d definitely recommend this company to anyone needing window work, it’s a rare find to find an honest company.

We live in a house built in 1985. We had the two biggest windows in our house replaced on 2÷16÷15. BRL’s employees were professional and very helpful to us during the installation. They explained everything step by step and went over the finished product with us before they left. My windows are gorgeous and energy efficient. At first, I actually wanted to put the the solar screen back on one of the windows, until I saw how beautiful it was without it. The windows are so energy efficient you don’t need a solar screen for them. We used the first two windows to try BRL out and see if they were a company we could trust. We are definitely going to have them finish the rest of our house.

Just quoted me $ 1,200, over the phone, to install a 36“x80″ replacement entry door in a condo!

We recently moved into a 50+ year old home that still had its originally windows; nonfunctional, single pane, lead windows. We needed new windows, bad!
We originally met with the big box companies and were not happy with the products they were selling and the customer service from one of the companies. Based on Unilocal reviews, my husband and I decided to give BRL a call. We called Friday afternoon and had an appointment the next day.
Wayne and Steve (I think that’s his name) showed up, looked at the windows and measured. I liked that they both came to look at the windows because Wayne is the the owner and also an installer. In my experience with with the big box companies, they sent a sales guy out who didn’t know much about windows. Having Wayne there, we were able to ask him specific install questions. We live in an older, brick home and wanted someone with experience. Sure enough, Wayne’s installed several windows in our neighborhood, including my neighbor’s windows. Wayne’s knowledge put us at ease.
On Monday, we met to review the quote. This was the 4^th quote we had received and was by far the most reasonable quote. We did our research and decided we wanted a Simonton window. The quote was for 9 higher quality Simonton replacement windows. When I saw the quote from BRL, I was relieved. Not only were we getting a high quality window, we were using a local company with lots of experience for an extremely reasonable price. I’m not saying that they were the cheapest, because they weren’t. But, they were the most reasonable. One of the big box stores also sells Simonton and quoted us several thousands more for an entry level window. It was a no brainier, we were going with BRL.
Once we signed, we were given a timeline of 2 weeks. The windows arrived early, Friday instead of Monday, and after BRL inspected the windows, they gave the green light. I called on Saturday and explained to Wayne that we were hoping to have them installed Wednesday because we would both be home. Even with the short notice, they worked with us and did the install Wednesday.
The installers came out at 815 and worked until about ⁵³⁰⁄₆. They worked hard and were very knowledgable! Even chatted with all the neighbors that stopped by to see the windows. After the install they stayed to answer any questions and reviewed the warranty information.
I have to say that working with BRL was a great experience. We originally turned to them out of frustration from dealing with the big box companies. I wish I hadn’t wasted so much time and had just gone straight to BRL. Not only do they carry great products, they have knowledgeable employees with wonderful customer service and all for a reasonable price.
I 100% recommend them to anyone looking to replace windows and doors!!!

Needed to get French doors installed at my place so I called BRL and talked to mike about different options available to me and we found something within my price range. I was a little having such a big job handled by a relative unknown, but the installer Shane was really knowledgeable and efficient, finishing the job with time to spare. Would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had 7 windows and a patio door replaced with BRL. I took my time and got several bids for my project. I’m elated that I went with BRL! Bob, Wayne, Shane, Josh, Paul and John were all fabulous, from the initial appointment with Bob to the measurements with Wayne and the installation with Shane, Josh, Paul and John. I’m very particular and the job done was just perfect and at a fair price. Thank you all for a job well done ! I highly recommend this company ! I’ll be using them again for another door installation ! High five guys!

Called to ask for a quote; the gentleman, Mike, that answered said I may not need to replace everything. He then gave me a different number and told me who to ask for. Got the job done for half what I was thinking.
That’s definitely a step beyond what I expect when shopping for prices. Solid way to run your business, now when I do need larger work, I’ll give BRL a call back. Thanks!

My mother had a glass door and a window installed. Bob is the most wonderful person to deal with. Honest, he communicates regularly, very fairly priced and so attentive to what my mother wanted. A wide variety of options was shown to her, estimate was received in a timely fashion.
The installers Jonathan and Shane arrived to do the install and they took such care of my mother, her needs, the home. They were so professional, she felt very safe with them. They encountered a problem with the structure and they not only worked through it, there was no change to the estimate, the install looked so beautiful, there was not trash left in my home, they showed me everything to do.
I would highly recommend these people and they will be back to replace two more of my windows. These gentleman are part of one of the most professional companies I have worked with in a very long time. They truly do offer «customer service» in every way.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
The sales guy Bob promises you the world, goes on and on and on how great and reputable they are and how they only use the best quality products and then talks garbage on all the other companies.
Well I tried them, installed 4 large windows and a huge slider door, paid 10% more than the other bid and then 1 hour after the installer completed the job, 2 of the windows trim just came apart from the wall revealing the huge gaps between the frame and the wall, looks just hideous. I called Bob the next day, reported the issue and he said it would be fixed.
5 days later, still nothing, no calls. Then Bob calls and wants the final payment, I said not till the job is completed and I can pay the installer right after he finishes fixing the trim pieces that basically fell off. He said that was no good as the installer is quitting and no telling if he ever goes back to their shop.
Anyhow, Bob goes off on me saying he can’t believe I am holding off $ 3300 final payment over just a few trim pieces that are hard to do and very tricky. I explained why would I pay when the job is not completed as promised. I am paying over $ 6,000, for a job that currently is terrible and I would be embarrassed to show anyone, and yet he just admitted their installer is quitting, if I pay, I may never get my job fixed, did I look that stupid???
I have remodeled over 20 homes, anyone or company that yells at clients trying to intimated to get their final payment before the job is completed is a company that is not reputable, honest or professional.
I made crystal clear to Bob, complete the job, with the quality you sold me on and the check is right there and he continued to berate me wanting the money before fixing my windows.
BTW, this is a million dollar 1 acre home in Vegas, not a junker, and I’m a very sucessuful businessman so there is no reason anyone would think I would not pay, that is not the issue here.
And to top things off, I have asked 4 times for a copy of the invoice to be emailed to me and nothing, and Bob keeps saying it was the quote they gave me at the begining, but I told them I tossed it thinking I was getting a proper invoice, not a hand written quote/​invoice thing. Seems they don’t even have a office, that is obvious too!

I rarely do this but I am changing my 1 * to 4* for BRL thanks to the owner, Jake, who took the time to address my concerns regarding the original outrageous quote I received from them. After getting a better understanding of my needs and revising the quote we were able to get it in-​line with my expectations. They went the extra mile and was able to help me install the door on the same day. That’s what I call service! I am a fan and may actually become a repeat customer if the need arises. My hats off to Jake for turning a negative into a positive!!!

Had a patio door replaced with BRL and they did a great job! Started at around 7am and was done and cleaned up by 11:30. I waited to write a review until I had the door in a for a while and I am pleased to say that everything has been perfect with it. Great quality door, great workmanship and my house has never looked better.

I bought a second refrigerator that was to be stored in my pantry. I took all the measurements, ordered the fridge, and when the Loews guys came to install… it wouldn’t fit through the pantry opening. I measured everything but the entrance way. Genius, I know.
I searched around on Unilocal and found some good reviews about BRL’s remodeling work. I called and Wayne, the owner, spoke with me on the phone. Wayne came out to the house and did the initial estimate and Chris was sent out to do the work a few days later.
Chris was so nice and professional. He even took the refrigerator doors off for me to assist with getting the fridge in to the pantry. He removed a piece of the wood trim from the pantry doorway in order to get the fridge in, replaced the trim, put the fridge doors back on, and after all was said and done, the pantry doorway looked virtually untouched. The cost to do the job was only $ 150 ($ 75/​hour for labor).
I will definitely be contacting BRL again for any remodeling needs I have in the future.
