Description

Specialties

We specialize in Krav Maga, a reality based system. Krav Maga is not a traditional martial art, no katas, no rituals, no nonsense. It uses simple principles and instinctive movements designed to teach self defense in the shortest possible time. Our students learn to defend against chokes, grabs and bear hugs, as well as weapons such as guns, knives and sticks. We teach people to function during the stress and shock of a sudden violent encounter.

Our team of skilled instructors are required to go through KMG instructor courses, which is a 3 part course and have to be certified by Eyal Yanilov or members of the Krav Maga Global team. Battle Born instructors are not only required to be exceptional in their practice of Krav Maga, but also in their personal conduct and teaching skills because confidence in each defense is just as important as the defense itself.

History

Established in 2010.

Battle Born Krav Maga changed names from Battle Born Defensive Tactics which opened as one of the finest Krav Maga training facilities in Las Vegas and the only Krav Maga school in Nevada that has a direct link to Israel where KM was originally developed and became the official hand-to-hand combat system of the Israeli Defense Forces. Krav Maga is a reality based self defense system; it’s not a traditional martial art, no katas, no rituals, no nonsense. Krav Maga uses simple principles and instinctive movements designed to teach real self defense in the shortest possible time. It is also the preferred system for the U.S. Military and law enforcement personnel. We are an affiliate school of Krav Maga Global. All of our instructors are personally certified by Eyal Yanilov and maintain the highest training standards of Krav Maga.
