Bates Chiropractic Care

I was reading some of these reviews and some of these are spot on. We went in for our free consultation appointment and the first thing we noticed was the high volume of people coming in at the same time. I agree with one of the others that this felt like a cattle call. My preference with other Chiro offices is that you have some personal time with the Dr. while you are given care. The other issue I thought was odd was the foot high divider wall that seperates the area where you are worked on. They have a couple of little fake trees that separate it from the other work table in the area. «no privacy». I also noted how each patient is worked on as little as 5 minutes and they are out the door. I call this the snap crackle pop Dr. I have been to other Chiro Dr’s that spen some time by applying heat, treatment and even getting my muscles relaxed by some massage. That is what I call treatment. Now the caveat of all this is when you go in for your «Free» consultation and after items are explained to you on how many visits a week to go, the Dr, will not even tell you your co-​pay unless you make the comittment to see him. How rediculous is this, why would I even think about commiting unless I knew what I had to pay and if i was covered. It was stated that it would be a waste of his time unless your were fully covered.
So with all this I can trully say that this is not the type of office visit that I want from a Chiropractor. Maybe some like to herded in and out in a cramped office. To me this is all about the money collection from insurance industries. Not quality care of people.

He moved my fees up by $ 30 without warning and the receptionist said nothing over the phone two different times. She tried to push the $ 3000 payment plan on me when I got to the office. He made me feel very uncomfortable and belittled becasue I didn’t have insurance and was paying cash. He then every time I was in the office tried to push the payment plan on me, my wife and friends I referred to him. He only spends a total of 5 minutes adjusting and then moves on to the next guy. It’s honestly like a cattle call when I’m there. he is friendly, but way too pushy on the payment plan. They could not help me, just told me to get on the payment plan or they could do nothing for me. I asked if she was going to force me to go elsewhere and she said «I guess». No help after 3 years of service. WAY TO MONEY HUNGRY FOR CASH PATIENTS.

I went to Aaron from a recommendation from a friend while I was newly pregnant. Aaron treated me throughout my pregnancy and I had a mainly pain free time while most of my friends had a ton of aches and pains. I use him today to keep things healthy and happy!

Excellent Chiropractor. He fixed the scoliosis in my lower spine in 1 quarter the number of visits of my last chiropractor and in half the time. He also addressed the scoliosis in my neck and I was experiencing excellent improvement by my estimation (approximately half way to my goal in 3 months) when I ran out of funds. He is reasonably priced, however, with a predefined pricing schedule.

Dr. Bates is the best! I don’t think that anyone has a legit reason to say anything bad about him. After I hurt my neck Bates got me back on track and back to work! He is honest and very laid back and very good at what he does.

Dr. Bates and staff are the real deal! Kind, caring and professional. Refreshing to receive personalized care in a smaller, intimate setting. Appreciate the efficient staff too. Both my husband and I have been visiting Dr. Bates for over a year now with vast improvements in our overall health. Initially we both went in separately for different lower back problems and gained increased mobility and pain relief quickly. Now we visit for preventative maintenance and its the best. Thank you Dr. Bates!

I was at a seminar down in Southern California a couple of weeks ago and after a 7 hour drive with kids I was in desperate need of an adjustment. My sister lives in the area and recommended I go see Dr. Bates. I have grown up with Chiropractic and have had adjustments by dozens of different ones and you get a feeling with each one. I don’t know where Sophia B. went but my experience with Dr. Bates was completely the opposite. I was only there for the weekend and yet he treated me like I was a family member and I can say it was the BEST adjustment I have had in a long long time. His positive energy and optimism left me feeling grateful for being alive too!
I had a great experience with Dr. Bates, hey, I haven’t even left a review for my own chiropractor in Sacramento yet! He even works Saturday mornings (thank heavens!), now that’s dedication to his patients!
Thanks a lot for the adjustment and I will be visiting you for an adjustment next time I’m in town for a seminar or just visiting my sister!

I’ve been to many chiropractors, and all have been about the same. Each visit took forever and involved several people, and my results were OK. Dr. Bates has a whole different approach. His visits take almost no time, and yet I feel better than ever before (and here I am many years older than I was at the other places, with more difficult issues).
His pricing is extraordinarily fair as well, so I can zip in and out whenever I have the need, instead of having to wait until I can’t stand the pain any more to go in.
I highly recommend Dr. Bates for wonderful pain relief and long term healing, great results, and fair pricing. And it doesn’t take forever to see him! AND he’s open Saturday morning! Bonus!

Dr. Bates was right, I needed his help to get better. My neck is pretty messed up compare to the «norm» and my spin is a little bit wacked. But thanks to his help, I have been feeling a lot better!
On top of being very helpful, he is also very kind and gentle. So you don’t have to worry about anything.
I am very glad that I found such a good chiropractor. We all know it can get a little but expensive when it comes to chiropractic care, but if you’re going to spend the money to get adjusted, please… get your adjustment from a professional doctor :]

Dr Bates is truly the BEST!!! not only is he the best Chiropractor ever, he is very friendly and really makes you feel comfortable. It is very obvious that he loves what he does! I began seeing him about 9 months ago for blowing out my knee while working out (i could barly walk) within seeing him 3 times my knee was already feeling better! I still go to him now once a week for adjustments (because its really good for you!!) even though my knee is completely healed now it feels good to keep adjustments to stay healthy! My son also sees him and totally loves him too! trust me, there is no better Chiropractor out there!!!

Dr. Aaron Bates is one of the most unassuming down to earth people I know who genuinely cares about his patients. How refreshing to go to a medical professional who’s out to make a difference and not out to just get rich. How many doctors do you know who you have to ask if you owe them money? And he is an excellent doctor. My spine loves him and for the first time in 9 years my shoulder doesn’t have an icy white pain shooting through it.

Dr. Aaron is a hip young man, truely concerned about people’s health. He hopes to inform people how to take better care for their bodies and realize some harmful things they may be doing. After finding out what was causing my neck and shoulder pain (subluxation) he was quick to show me daily exercises and give me hope through his adjustments. You never feel like your just a number in his office, he really observes and adjust were needed. I highly recommend his services.

So, I jettisoned off of my bike onto the gravel shoulder of the road 2 weeks ago (uh… that was unintended in case you’re wondering). Anyway, after a trip to the ER, torn AC ligaments in my shoulder and bruised ribs, I was certain I’d have to take a break from my chiropractic care. Doh! I was wrong.
Dr. Bates insisted I come in to get checked out. I was a bit freaked out thinking «I can’t handle this» right after my little mishap, but again I was wrong. It was the *best* thing I could’ve done. Slowly and very gently, Dr. Bates has made sure that my neck and the rest of my form didn’t get too out of whack while my shoulder and ribs were healing. (If I hadn’t gone in, I would’ve compensated for the injury by hunching over and freezing my shoulder into a protective «broken wing» kind of posture for many weeks.)
So, I learned something new from my unfortunate accident, despite my fear of getting treated right after a fresh injury — it was the best thing I could’ve done. I’m already getting mobility back in that damaged shoulder. This just through some gentle, non-​aggressive treatment. Thanks Dr. B.

I have been looking for a good chiropractor in town that won’t hurt the wallet too bad and someone who is really good. I have to say, nobody even comes close to Dr. Bates in Camarillo in regards to knowing what he is doing and truly understanding what was going on with my pain. I would highly recommend Bates Family Chiropractic to anyone… in fact, my immediate family all see him now!
