Specialties

About 95% of all automobiles around the world are reclaimed and recycled when they reach the end of their usable lives. Auto recycling is an often overlooked but integral part of modern recycling and green industries, providing the largest united front to safely reclaim and recycle or dispose automotive fluids, batteries, tires, and other potentially harmful substances to the environment.

Not only this, but recycled auto parts means savings on your auto repairs. Purchasing inspected and warrantied recycled auto parts will generally cost 50% or more less than purchasing new parts for your vehicle. These parts are cleaned, refurbished, and ready to be installed for less. Make the green decision today and purchase recycled auto parts.

History

Established in 1983.

B&R Auto Wrecking, formerly Southwest Auto Wrecking, prides itself on our commitment to customer service.

«It used to be a Mom and Pop business. We had 10 employees,» explains Brian Perlenfein, senior operations manager. Perlenfein’s father bought a single wrecking yard in Corvallis, OR. when Brian was three years old. «My mom and dad worked 14 hours a day.» From those humble beginnings, B&R now has multiple locations in three states and hundreds of employees. We also have the largest Ebay auto parts store, and a majority of our business happens through our website www.autowrecking.com. We ship used parts, engines, transmissions, and more nationwide!

General manager Larry Rhodes said Perlenfein is a visionary in the auto recycling industry, noting his involvement in the Hollander Strategic Advisory Council (SAC).

«His ability to articulate his message and thoughts as well as interact with others on the council makes him an invaluable member of the SAC and a voice for the future of our industry,» he added. «Never have I been so impressed by someone’s intellect.»
