I don’t know where to even begin about this dump!!! How about we start with the fact that the operation is completely shifty and will rip you off with every underhanded tactic they can think of!
Back in December of 2014, my son and his girlfriend needed to rent an extra car. Because they are under 25, finding a reputable rental establishment is tough enough but the kids were stuck and needed a deal.
Apex apparently came in at a decent price with a $ 250 REFUNDABLE deposit. At this point I can understand their policy because of risk, HOWEVER, it’s where it goes from here that I am a complete nut!
First of all, the car was delivered to my son filthy and with a few dings. Again, they are young and didn’t have options so they had to suck up it.
Upon the return of the car 2 weeks later, my son was told he would receive his deposit back. It is now APRIL 14 and he still has nothing!!!
His father happened to go into the location personally to find out why our son was still waiting for his $ 250. He even brought emails from the owner saying the deposit was going back in my son’s account as of mid February. The woman at the desk first refused to give him any contact info for the owner and claimed she was contacting him via the computer (I will assume email). After some nasty words, the woman at the desk released a telephone number for the owner.
I was then given owners number and called him. This is when he said he was «going to» refund my son his money until he saw his negative review on this site!!! He also claimed the car had damage! Excuse me, if the car had ANY damage, you would have noticed it right upon return, not 3 months later!!! Oh, and please let’s not forget the email you sent with YOUR NAME confirming the return of the deposit!!!
I challenge this company to pull a fast one on me! I have proof that you had no problem giving my son the refund. You also told me YOURSELF you were going refund the money until you received a bad review!
You asked to go to court… well, you got it buddy!!!

If I could give this place no stars I would. It was the absolute worst place. I used this place as a last resort because I was leaving town for the week and my girlfriend needed a car to use while I was gone being she was without a car and she didn’t know how to drive stick so I couldn’t lend her mine. When we called they said they had one car available and the price would be about $ 250 for the week. The price was good so we told them we would be down to rent the car. When we walked in the door the lady working inside just finished using the bathroom and stunk the whole place out. We had to sit in this lady’s stench while she wrote up the papers and didn’t even have the desency to spray an air freshener. After the paper work was written up and signed she showed us the car. It was a 2011 Hyundai accent. The car was dinged up one of the tires were almost flat and the inside looked like someone threw a bag of leaking garbage in it then let it sit overnight before they «cleaned it». The car for the week served it’s purpose and got my girlfriend back and forth to work and surprisingly didn’t crap out. After the car was returned they told me the deposit of $ 250 I had put down would be refunded to my account within a few days. I still have not received my deposit back and it’s the 28^th of February, I returned the car on December 2^nd. After about 2 weeks and my money was not refunded I called and talk to someone at their office and they said they can’t process the deposit refund but the person who could will be in later and they would let them know. I got that same run around for then next few weeks. I decided to email them and they responded saying that they found my contract and the money would be refunded to me within 72 hours and that was 3 weeks ago now. I emailed they telling them I still didn’t receive my deposit back and have not heard anything back since

Currently trying to resolve an accident that a client on this agency caused. They took responsibility and has taken some time to get it taken care of but mostly my fault for not checking Voicemails.
So far everything going smooth!

I don’t get why people complain. I was new in town for a job, and needed a car ASAP. I knew I didn’t have much for a down payment to buy, so I decided to rent for a little while. Yes, it can be expensive, but its hassle free. They were a life saver for me as I had to drive around town for work. Crystal made things real easy for me, and she even reminded me when payment is due. I used my checking card as I don’t like using credit cards and they were okay with it!

I really can’t even give this place 1 star because of the experience we had there. The car that was rented to us had 2 BALD tires, one almost flat, the inside was not cleaned, every surface was sticky & each of the body panels on the car was damaged, even the hood. When we asked if they could put air in the tire there was no one to do it. The place only accepted cash, which is fishy and we were promised to be called when another vehicle came back. That never happened.
Renter beware!!!

Get a quote from their website before calling them for a price. I did just that and their website gave me a quote of $ 59.97 to rent for 3 days. I called them and asked to see what the hold fee would be. The lady on the phone said that the hold fee would be $ 300 and to rent an economy would be $ 33/​day! Big difference from the online quote. In my opinion they are cheaters. Go some place else that has accurate online quotes.
I forgot to mention that after I told the lady that the online quote was different, she said she had never been to the website, then said that they were all out of vehicles.
